Five minutes to install in our firepit (it just spins on, like a big steering wheel) & it works perfectly! FYI, it attaches to a 1/2" male gas line, which is what we had. NO special equipment needed whatsoever (at least for our install). This replaces our badly corroded fire ring; this stainless steel replacement should last many years. Great Amazon purchase!

Happy with the ring for our new firepit.

This burner was to replace our old black iron burner which was all corroded and clogged. Installed this one and have had it for about a year now. With some long burning nights, still look great with a little color change... it takes a little while for the flame to get big but once the pipes heat up it gets hot!

Buy these stainless steel versions - they last longer and work great. Much, much cheaper than getting them at the local hardware specialty stores.

Really nice quality! Fit this into a clay fire bowl as pictured. With a 3/4" supply line and 3/4" shutoff I'm getting flames in excess of 2 feet from the burner through lava rock. At low levels there is a slight whistle, however I believe my shutoff is causing this, and not the burner itself. I would purchase again for sure!

Extremely Happy with this. The Pic with the Blue Flame is what I had before, after installing this ring, you can see a huge difference in the flame out out. Again very Happy...

This worked perfect for what I needed to replace an old ring. So far works flawless and easy to install.

Appears to be of good quality. My problem is flame height, which isn’t the manafacturers fault. I have 1/2 inch gas pipe running about 50’. It doesn’t seem to produce enough gas for this sized ring (24”), which has about 40+ holes. Be sure to go with large gas piping, or a smaller ring.

We built a 34" slumpstone enclosure for our new firepit and I tried to do a lot of research to make sure we had the biggest, baddest fire around. We had run a dedicated 1" gas line back to the pit, so I wanted to make sure we had the highest capacity available. My thought was that you can always turn it down, but you can't "enbiggen" an anemic fire ring. We downsized to a 3/4" line for the valve and kept that size right to the ring. Here is one photo (under an easy breeze) with the fire-pit at a normal height, with another photo maxed out Yes that is flame in the upper right corner, not photo magic - It is a thing of beauty). At max settings it is very impressive, and also very hot. Not the best time to test your firepit with a hot-dog cookout, but we managed it. Hot dogs roast impressively over this full flame. Fun for the whole family if you can withstand the heat. The second photo is turned down a bit and looks great. Can't think of a complaint about this ring - but I do have one comment; under a breeze and at low gas output the flames can blow out and do not self light. This is logical and doesn't bother me in the slightest. Just turn it up a bit more and you won't have an issue. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Easy to install and very effective burn ring.
