Absolutely great!!!

I ordered these awhile back and waited until I used them t give feedback. My wife and I do a lot of dispersed camping and have tried a lot of body wipes over the past year or two. Yes, we have a shower but sometimes you need to save water and just need a refreshing wipe down to feel clean. Long story made short--these will be the only body wipes we keep in the camper. Some other wipes come all packed in one container which generally means that they are drying out by the time you get halfway through the box. These are individually wrapped so they stay moist until you need them. This also is a good idea for backpackers as you only need to take the number you estimate you need for the trip and maybe an extra to celebrate that extra rock climb. Some other pluses are the scent is actually pleasant to your nose. They actually passed the 'wife test' and she uses them, too. They are large enough to cover all the necessary areas and contain enough cleaner to keep them from drying out about halfway through. Unless I feel really sweaty one is more than enough. I guess you get my point that these are really good and worth buying.

I had a great experience with these wipes

I had a great experience with these wipes. I would describe them more as mini towels than wipes. The Hombre Body wipes are targeted at men, and I had originally bought them for a friend to try. However, due to the natural and neutral smell, and eco-friendly ingredients, I decided to try them. They are not targeted at women, but they should be. The packaging is friendly too. I often find myself running late for work after going to the gym due to not having enough time to shower and get to work on time. I would rather be late than not shower. This is the first product I can use and not feel bad about not taking a shower after a workout. The wipe is well saturated that when you clean your body, you don't feel any excess moisture. It leaves you feeling refreshed, clean and dry. These wipes are perfect for hot weather, working out or anything that will make you sweaty. Versatile wipes. Each wipe is individually packaged, so you don’t have to carry a bulky container. This makes it very convenient to always have a wipe available. Recently, I happened to have a Hombre Body wipe in my bag at a concert. The person behind me spilled their beer, and quite a lot of it landed on me, leaving me feeling sticky. I used the wipe to clean my back and arms, and was feeling as refreshed as I would if I was taking a shower. My favorite aspect of these wipes is their durability. The wipes don’t break, roll up, or dissolve like other wipes. I would definitely recommend the Hombre Body wipes for women and men.

The Best Body Wipe

This is the best product for getting clean when you're out and about. As an avid hiker, there are many times I've come off the trail covered in dust, dirt and sweat, but have been a long way from home or a shower to get clean. And often, my next stop is lunch, where I'd like to be clean! This is why I'm so happy to have found these body wipes. Other wipes, they come all in one package stacked together, they dry out, and they're small, and sometimes smell too fragrant. But these body wipes come individually packaged, and are wet and fresh every time. Plus, they're large, with one smooth side and one textured, which really lets you maximize its use. After a hike, one wipe will get your face, arms and legs done. And if you're extra dirty, a second one should finish the job. In addition to hiking, I also have a physical job, and surf too. It's so nice after work, especially if I have a drive home to do a wipe down with one of these wipes, or get the salt residue off after catching some waves, and refresh. That is the real gain with these beyond getting clean...that refreshed, energized feeling that gets you headed onto the next adventure. Whether it's lunch, work, home, or the next trail, I always keep a pack of these in my car or pack as they come in very handy for many reasons and occasions. I highly recommend them. And on top of it being a great product, the company is small, and the wipes are made right here in the U.S.

Hombre body wipes for men

These are super great everything on the package is true, you really do feel refreshed and clean. My son and I have strong sweat odors under the armpits [yes I admit that] but for a quick refresh these out did the 30 or so kinds we've tried throughout time. It's a thick wet towel that stays wet even after a full body scrub. Not a wipe a scrub and just to test it out my son used one and placed it back in a plastic baggie and the next afternoon it was STILL very moist. We stay in a extremely hot humid state. So this really deserves 10 stars well done. AND YES LADIES YOU CAN USE IT EVERYWHERE NO PROBLEMS.

Does the job!

Great little product. Keeps me feeling fresh. A shower is always preferred, even if its a super fast rinse off. But this substitute is a good alternative. I take a lot of overseas flights from USA, to Europe (about 7-8 hours) and to Asia and India (13-14 hours). I like to feel good during the flight, and really fresh and clean when I land. I see (and smell) others when they are in customs line, and they ain't too good - I don't want to be that person. I plan to use this product to avoid exactly that situation. Likely, I think I'll need to use 2 of these to really do the job, maybe 3 for the 13+ hour flights (1 mid-flight to stay refreshed). But so far, they work as expected. And the price point is reasonable too. These will be my go-to for the long haul flights. And I foresee keeping them on hand in a backpack or day pack, just for those days in summer that can be a bit too much. I like to bike in summer when going out or around town, and this will likely keep me in good shape for those situations as well.

Great wipes that worked well, but wish for a smaller version

I have used Action Wipes for many years to use after runs, working outside or cycling when I didnt have time to shower and they worked great. I was so surprised when I went to buy them and they were going out of business. I tried baby wipes and they were rough on my skin, too small and not wet enough. I was familiar with Dude wipes and knew I could fall back on them, but wanted to find a good replacement wipe. These shipped quickly and did a good job on my wipe down. They are large and worked well. I liked the smell. I think they would be great for camping. The only notable comments I have are: I really like the wipes that are individually wrapped because they are so much easier to put in hurricane kits, bug out bags, sports bags, in the car, etc... These of course are individually wrapped, but they are big. When I do foreign travel, the smaller packages are just better and easier to carry. Something that would fit in a pocket is just easier to carry along and can be more private, so having a smaller package is something I am use to and find I miss. The second comment is that I have VERY sensitive skin. Even using sensitive bandages leaves me we welts and raised red marks when one is removed. So with my old action wipes, I never had any problems when I used them to clean the private areas but with baby wipes, they almost removed my skin and left me feeling raw. These are not as bad as that, but they are a little rough. They clean well, but would be better a tiny bit more moist. They are just more like a wash cloth, and therefore, I believe work well, but anyone with sensitive skin needs to be a little cautious. Final comment is that since they are so big and a little more costly, it feels like a waste to use them for a hit and go. So I am afraid they do not entirely replace my previous wipes. Still looking for that. But for anyone needing a good wipe for sports, outdoor work or camping, this is a great product.

This is a great product -- we have a summer place in New Hampshire that is on an island, all the water coming into the house is lake water. Sometimes, even after a hot shower, I just don't feel very clean or refreshed because of the water quality. These wipes are just awesome - I feel clean, fresh and deodorized after I use one. And they are super gentle as I have very sensitive skin. I use them now after a work out, or any sports activity to freshen myself up. They are a perfectly good shower substitute if you don't have time. The best part is the size of the wipe -- they are a really nice generous size that is easy to use and gets the job done -- other wipes I've tried just weren't big enough. Highly recommend!!!!

#1 shower replacement solution I’ve ever used, over 41 years of frequent hospitalizations

I use body wipes for reasons that are a bit different than most: not to freshen up after a run or on a camping trip (I wish!). I use them out of necessity, as immersing myself in water for baths and showers is often not an option for me. I’m a 53 year old who has had Crohn’s disease since I was 12 years old. So I’ve spent most of my life in and out of hospitals, recovering from multiple abdominal surgeries to remove affected parts of my intestine...and even more so, after being diagnosed with colon cancer 6 years ago. After extensive surgeries, getting out of bed and/or exposing incisions to water in a shower can take days, weeks or months...and nobody enjoys being in pain, feeling ill AND feeling dirty! All hospitals have different ways of helping patients stay clean when showers aren’t an option: number one being the old faithful nurse-administered “sponge bath” (messy, embarrassing, uncomfortable, and always teeth-chattering cold, no matter how warm the water or how kind the nurse). Some hospitals use what they call “bathing wipes”...but these are typically rough, tiny, cold pieces of what feels like a damp paper towel that leaves your body feeling either sticky, itchy or wet, but never clean or refreshed. Even when showers are finally allowed, believe me, in certain hospitals, even with sandals on, you’d rather stay stinky and sweaty than set foot into that shower area! Ever since bathing wipes became available for sale outside of hospitals, I’ve been eagerly searching for “the one”! A wipe that truly leaves my skin (from head to toe) feeling clean and fresh...just like a real bath or shower would. That real-shower clean and refreshed feeling can really make such a positive difference in every way, when you’re stuck in your hospital bed, in pain, afraid, and just plain sick. Finding the perfect shower substitute in a wipe sort of became my Holy Grail. This one smelled like disinfectant; that one smelled overwhelmingly of flowers or perfume. This one was too dry; that one was so sopping wet that it might as well have been a sponge bath. This one left a sticky residue on my skin; that one left my skin red and dry. One type would work pretty well, but sadly came in a pack that didn’t seal up tight, so the remaining wipes all dried out. I did find several brands that did their jobs well. But it wasn’t until I tried the Alcala individually-wrapped bamboo deodorizing body wipes with tea tree oil that I KNEW I had found the PERFECT shower replacement wipe. One easy to carry wipe in its own pack was large enough to clean my entire body, neither too dry nor too wet, wasn’t cold, felt so soft on my skin but never ripped or tore while using, and the tea tree oil not only smelled great but was incredibly invigorating to my skin and to my senses. After using that first Alcala wipe...I knew that my search was over. I will never use a different type of bathing wipe. I realize that for most people, a body wipe is a nice little perk to freshen up after exercising or when you’ve overslept and don’t have time to grab a shower before work. For you guys, I believe you’ll be thrilled with how quickly these Alcala wipes can make your day easier and you’ll love the ease, the smell and the feel of this great product. For me, it’s something more: Alcala wipes have seriously improved my daily quality of life. It seems like such a small thing...feeling fresh and clean. For active, social, intimate guy... was perfect.

I'm a very active person who's always on the go playing sports, climbing, camping and experiencing the outdoors. And at the end of the day I'm incredibly social and love hanging out with friends. So I thought something like this could be really useful for quick clean ups of dirt/climbing chalk, "french bath" type situations, and general use to be presentable after activities. I threw a few in my climbing bag, car, and other day pack. And last night they came in handy! I was climbing and this girl I've been chasing after invited me over to her place after, so I quickly used one of these to freshen up my face, underarms, chest, and nether-region (it was big enough for all that). I felt perfectly freshened up and fully confident to approach a close encounter with this girl... I'll leave you hanging with how it all went though. PS, I see no reason why a woman couldn't use these too. They are clearly marketed a little more toward men, but the scent and use is universal IMHO.

I'm excited about these body wipes because they are plant based, bio-degradable, and they have all sorts of good things in them. I had a recent hospitalization and the hospital provided wipes that were minimally helpful. The Alcala ones really do provide a clean, calming experience and they come individually packaged so they can be included in your backpack or suitcase for travel. And the fragrance of the wipes is just lovely. Read below for specifics from Amazon--and the descriptions are very accurate.The wipes are so generously sized, and they smell so good and I love that they are environmentally good.
