This fan keeps my Surface Pro (5) cool as a cucumber ! I run my SP5 in the docking station with dual monitors connected to multiple remote machines all while constantly running reports and file updates. When I take the pro off of the fan to go remote, the device is not hot at all, in fact it's almost cool to the touch. I have it propped up on an easel so that I can lay my Surface device on it instead of it laying flat. I turn the fan off every night when I go home because the device doesn't get very warm when I'm signed out. it's been up and working for a couple of weeks now, and so far I love it! If it dies prematurely, I'll be sure to add to this review.

This is my first experience with a cooling pad. My MacBook Pro was getting ridiculously hot and I'd had enough. The size for my 13" MacBook Pro is perfect. It fits the machine and isn't too big or bulky. You can balance it on your lap if you want or even use it on an airplane seat back table if you want. The two fans are pretty quiet and dissipate a lot of heat. I'm very happy with my purchase so far.

This was awesome - works perfectly, teen I bought it for didn't even think it was working since he couldn't hear it! But it was! Amazing value - even the usb plug (thank the universe it's NOT battery operated) has a jack so that you aren't losing the usb port you use! Perfect gift for any teen with a laptop - and you cannot beat the price. Christmas is coming!! Get one.

The unit is very functional with the ability to tilt upwards using the rear retracting legs. It contains front retracting stops to avoid having laptop fall off when the unit is tilted. Lights, unfortunately, are not capable of being turned off. The entire unit will not stop unless the laptop is shut down or the usb plug is removed. This fan unit keeps my constantly overheating laptop cool enough so that its internal fan does not make complaining noises. The inclusion of off switches would make this unit perfect.

I have bought 6 laptop coolers. Dumped 2. This is my favorite among all 6 I have bought. It is very thin. Almost silent. Very light. Easy to carry. The wind is kind of weak, although sufficient for my very hot old MacBook Pro. Maybe not good enough for gaming laptops. It has a flat top which does not provide any space between itself and the bottom of laptop. If your laptop has nothing between its bottom and the surface underneath, you better stick something under your laptop just like I did. I stuck 4 small pieces of furniture pad under my MacBook Pro. It provides sufficient space to allow air to flow through and cool the laptop. If you need a laptop cooler to carry around, this is probably the best choice.

I got this for my Asus router to keep it cool since it was getting pretty hot under load and it works great. It doesn't put out a tremendous amount of air, but it does keep the air moving and its very quiet, so that's a plus. I wish there was a switch to turn the LEDs off, but they're mostly covered by the router.

My MBP 13 is maybe 10F cooler on average with this unit than with the cooler it replaced. This unit is lighter and smaller than the old one, and the USB power cord for the fans appears to be sturdier. The USB power connector supplies a piggy-backed USB socket to replace the one it consumes, a thoughtful feature. The edges of the pad are thin enough that medium size binder clips can be used for cable management. The blue fan lights are dopey, of course, but they are blocked by the laptop and so do not become annoying. The bottom of the unit needs a recess for the power cable so that the unit does not rest on the cable when the feet are not extended. The fans pull air from underneath the laptop and expel it into your lap -- it really should be the other way, pulling air from underneath and blowing it over the bottom of the laptop. But this way does work.

I run a laptop as my pfSense router and, for some reason, the latest updates are putting more of a load on my CPU. This is pushing the CPU temps in the high 50C and even up to the mid 60s. I got this cooling pad to hopefully bring down the temps on my PC. I've been using it for a week and it works FANTASTIC! Not only has it brought my CPU temps down to between 49-53C but it even keeps the laptop cool even under load. The large fans cover almost the entire bottom of the laptop - this may not sound like much, but other cooling fans just cooled the middle of the laptop (nowhere near my CPU). I like the fact the stand can be put on an angle to allow more air flow underneath it. Overall, I am very impressed with this product.

Good laptop cooler, I use it with my older 13.3" MacBook. The fans are big and quite, my MacBook is noticably cooler when I have a lot of things running. The USB plug that plugs into the laptop USB port is passive, so you can still use the USB port for other things when the Laptop Cooler is in use. I recommend this cooler, if your Laptop or MacBook is running hot.

Seems to be working well as my laptop hasn't shut off from overheating, Until this writing review my laptop has been working for 12 hours cooling perfect. It does not require eyelashes in my case, does not slip on its own. The sound of the fan is almost imperceptible (I checked it at dawn when everything is silent). It is comfortable when moving the laptop, I pick it from the sides without turning off or disarming anything
