Price seemed almost too good to be true

I have been researching longbord's for a while now. My end game is to create a DIY eSkate electric board, so the most important consideration for me was...the deck. I wanted functionality and look. I went back and forth with a few brands, and before I decided to make the decision, I came across White Wave boards. The boards looked stunning with the natural bamboo and maple layers, which is way more appealing to me than crazy murals and deck tape. Reviews seemed top notch and legit. Price seemed almost too good to be true. They were selling a complete board, wheels, trucks and all for $100. I was close to buying just a deck from another manufacturer for much more. Then I went to their website to glean more insight and knowledge. Interesting, the site is still up, but doesn't look like its been updated since 2016. Starting looking though their wares, and one by one they were sold out. Is this company still in existence? Of the three White Wave board choices available on Amazon, I went with the closest thing to the cruiser (Cruiser and Warrior were my first 2 choices) and purchased the White Wave Shocker longboard. I thought, you know, this is cheap enough to buy and try and if I decided it wasn't going to be my main deck for my eSkate, I still would have a cheap, complete board to tootle around with. It arrived yesterday, and with my anticipation and excitement through the roof, opened it up. First word that came to mind? B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!! I cannot believe that I was able to purchase this hing for a hundred bucks...and fully complete at that! I figured the trucks, wheel, bearings an all would be garbage and that regardless of if this was going to be the deck that I created my eSkate with, I would end up upgrading the components either way. Amazing board! I've had it for a year now! It's durable which is a good relief since it's plastic. It is a total unique board in how it feels to ride, it is soo satisfying. If u are locking for a second board my recommendation is to GET It! The deck has a flex that makes it feel unique like a bamboo deck board (but cost way less), which makes chill riding very amusing and satisfying. If ur looking for ur fist board this great for someone that just wants to cruse and carve and maybe try out some tricks. Also I just want to say the Manufacture White Wave Longboards is an amazing company that often give back to the community often. I've been waiting for the 'Shocker' be back in stock for a couple of weeks and I tell it was worthing waiting for. I am a big man 6'4, 310lbs. May main concern was to find a board that would not break or bend too much with my weight. This board is just solid. I was worried about wheel bite also, but no problem with this board. The ride is smooth and turns are just right, considering my weight. I am riding it right out of the box with no adjustments. I have no plans to touch/change bearings, wheels, etc. It fills just right like it is. Also, I have to mention the customer service. White Wave helped me by pointing the right board for my situation and helped me with further matters. Most of the case they answered me in case of minutes. I sure do recommend this board.

Sharp Looking Deck and an Amazing Ride!

First of all, the board is gorgeous, the wood finish looks amazing and the overall aesthetic of the entire complete setup is great. I had been looking specifically for a drop-down deck that was top mounted vs drop through and that’s how I luckily came across WhiteWave and their longboards. This isn’t my first longboard, so from the get-go, the price alone for a COMPLETE was just a really solid and hard to come by deal... and the parts (trucks, wheels and bearings) are all solid and are of superior quality than I was honestly expecting given the price point. Only took it out once so far since getting it today and received a compliment within the first 10 minutes! The wheels are perfect size-wise and have the perfect softness for cruising and roll right over cracks and small pebbles and other things, the bearings make pushing off a breeze because they actually are really nice quality, and the trucks are solid and for me, were perfect to use right out of the box — of course this will vary from person to person and personal preference but they can always be adjust easily if need be. The deck, it doesn’t take much to see it’s simply beautiful. One quality I was really after when browsing around online was a deck that was solid... and this deck definitely does not disappoint - again, it’s like one of those things that are so much more impressive in person than anything online can do it justice. The clear grip, also a 👍🏻 quality I was looking for as far as appearance and feeling goes... you definitely won’t be slipping at all on this board, AND it’ll stay fresh looking.. win win. As for ride quality, I can say this is definitely the perfect type of longboard for both seasoned skaters and beginners alike... just overall very user friendly and you definitely would be hard pressed to find a better deal in terms of quality, looks, and the quality of the ride... there’s a mild concave in the deck which keeps your feet nicely locked in place and is just right also... I’ve ridden some decks that were uncomfortable due to the concave, but this one is perfect... overall, I couldn’t be happier and will definitely be recommending White Wave to others who are looking to get into long boarding as well as purchasing some of their other models as well, just because switching it up sometimes is always fun. Lastly, they have excellent customer service which is definitely something I value in a company/brand... I appreciate that they truly do appreciate their customers and for that reason also, I’ll gladly and happily purchase from them again and HIGHLY recommend them any chance I can!

BEST board. Great price. So many good things to say about this. Great quality. Good shape. Great look. Arrived fairly quickly. Perfect for all size of people (even 300+lb). Perfect for beginners and experienced.

Cobra drop deck is awesome!

It's low to the ground so it's stable and easy to push. I'm old (47) and fat (230pds) and it rides like a dream. I did back the bushings off 1 turn to make it easier to turn. Tighten them back up for going fast downhill. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome board

I thought I wanted the warrior from White wave and they have been sold out for awhile so I opted for the shocker. It's a beautiful board and I'm thoroughly enjoying riding it. I might change out the wheels and bearings but I'm not in any hurry to. Definitely heed their advice to check all the bolts and nuts. One of my wheels was tightend all the way so it limited the wheel spin. Easy fix and it rides like a dream. Perfect for a 6 ft tall lanky guy.

Smooth, flexy, durable and we'll worth it.

First off, the packing was great. This Roxy is a true beauty to look at. As far as riding is concerned, it is flexy and responsive, which awesome for long days of skating over bumps and cracks in the sidewalk. I would highly recommend this board for beginners and advanced longborders. For those familiar with the White Wave Cruiser and Mayhem longboards, this seems like a blend of them both. I prefer the Roxy over longboards that coast 3 times as much. Another fantastic product from White Wave.

Freaking awesome board. Potentially bigger than you would expect even from the description. Love the through-board wheal mounting and dynamic steering response. And so beautiful in bamboo.
