I loved everything except the XLR mic cord geared for your laptop! I couldn't get it to work properly, I still had to end up using an interface?! The condenser mic sounds a bit "tin-ey" but, as long as you are not doing pro-production (and I am), it will work okay for you. Over All, it's hard to complain about something actually usable for less than $50.!! Good Job.

Great Mic

This mic is very good for a startout YouTuber or streamer like myself. I have had no complications about it and will most likely make a video explaining this which I will upload here if I ever do. While this mic is amazing I recommend getting a power adapter to go with it, I personally do not have one but I am planning on getting one from this brand because they give reliable things for cheap. I would highly recommend this to anyone not looking to spend so much money on something equally as great.

I'm going to be honest I was extremely skeptical buying this product because of alllll of the negative reviews on it. I was thinking to myself after I bought it "did I make the right decision?" The answer is yes. I definitely did. I took a chance and was extremely happy with how it turned out. Recording, the audio is crisp and clean, no high pitched noises or anything. My friends in discord say it sounds really good also so I'm happy with it. Now I can record covers and it actually sound decent.

Worth Every Penny!!!

Ive had alot of mics for home recordings over the years. This thing is not bad! Dont get me wrong you are not going to hook it up and sound like your favorite talk show hosts but if you either have a mixer with some basic eq or you are recording and then uploading (not live) then you can just boost some of the lpw and high end frequencies and really get a great tone. Add a moderate compressor in the chain and you will have a professional sounding podcast.

I am extremely happy with this purchase. I am an author looking to record my own audio books, and like anything else in the authoring world, I'm learning that you get what you pay for. Now, I'm not going to lie, I haven't bought an ultra expensive mic before, but I wasn't looking for anything great when I purchased this. This thing is amazing. My voice comes through loud and clear, and it picks up the quietest of sounds. I am extremely happy with my purchase, and know where I will be looking for any new microphone purchases.

I love this mic it’s a little quite but if you turn up the gain it sounds great. Recommend to any beginner or novice.

Great mic

this is really good for the price. Size is comfortable and the stand is well made. Setting up took a little to look at but eventually it came together easily. I'd recommend this mic for anyone who want a good mic. The arm/stand is really easy to move around so i can move it around my desk without any problems. I think this set comes with a lot of good startup mic components. I'm using this mic mainly for gaming. when i was testing the mic range, it took out a lot of bg noise and I liked that. Again, would recommend getting this mic

Very good quality mic

The microphone is great. Has good sound quality and is very clear. Get a phantom power supply to power and it is so easy to set up. Very little white noise when boosted in recording device settings. When not boosted there is no noise at all. Scissor arm works well and is easy to use.

Yay, everyone can finally hear me!

This is perfect for what I need it for! I have an unusually quiet normal speaking voice, which can be VERY frustrating at times (I can't speak louder without risk of losing my voice altogether). This mic hears me quite well, especially when using the recommended phantom power supply (a must for PC broadcasting). The arm allows me to quickly move the mic into whatever position, or just out of my way, and the tension is strong enough to allow me to hang my headphones on it as well. The "pop" filter allows me to get right up on the mic without the usual distorting "pop" from my breath hitting an otherwise unprotected mic. I also use the windscreen, since my desk is right in front of the AC and tends to blow across any mic in use. I use this for both internet broadcasting and gaming (especially on flight simulation networks like VATSIM), and everyone is amazed that they can finally hear me without distortions or the usual excessive background noise from having to have the mic settings maxed out (which I no longer need to do). This is a great entry level kit for broadcasting (which I'm entering into), I highly recommend it!
