Purchased for my hallway closet, battery operated lights not a great idea if you need to keep replacing batteries. This light was just PERFECT, the extension was long enough and best of all, I can See now. Very happy with purchase.

White looks clean and bright. Practical and does what it does well. It feel sturdy. The switch is nice if I ever need it. Better and cheaper than my diy. Probably safer too.

Amazing lamp cord I found on Amzong. Super easy to hang on. There's a plastic hook which helps tighten the cord. The on/off switch is a plus, very convenient.

This product and some creativity helped us gain an overhead light in our dining room where adding a junction box would have been very difficult. The shade we purchased from world market is able to rest right on the socket (i thought i would have to get creative but the socket was the perfect size for the shade) and I used the provided clips to hang the cord from a hook in the ceiling. I used a different hook than the company provides just so it looked more cohesive. One 60 w equivalent led bulb gives a nice ambiance at night. It might not be bright enough for everyone but it’s an improvement from a floor lamp for sure. The switch is right about in the middle of the cord. We have our cord hidden going down behind the curtains and it’s plugged into an outlet controlled by a switch so we don’t even need to access the switch on the cord. If the switch is in an inconvenient spot for your use you could consider buying a smart plug for $20 and using your phone to turn it on and off. Overall I am very pleased with this product

I ordered the longer cord assuming the regular cord would be to short (could have solved that issue with a tape measure) and it is really long but this will work out great in the event I need it elsewhere and more length is needed.

I have this little space under the stairs in my apartment that I suppose is meant to be extra storage but it's perfect for my 4 year old to play in. It's open but still dark since it doesn't face any windows. There is an outlet though so I was able to hook this up and now she has plenty of light to play in - day or night and she can easily flip the switch on/off by herself. The cord is WAY too long but that's ok, better to be too long than too short!

I'm using these for spot lights on larger art glass sculptures. I can't add lights in the ceiling, so I use these along with white plastic cable guides to get a light where I need it. The wiring doesn't look bad, and the effect after dark is stunning. I use Wemo plugs to control when lights are on. These are high quality, much cheaper than any other scheme I dreamed up, and I'm satisfied with this solution.

This fixture has a sturdy feel to it. I've only had it for a year but it sees moderate use. The switch is nice and smooth. I don't see having any problems with this in the foreseeable future. Just might be a product to last my lifetime. Would buy again no question.

I love the long cord - kinda tacky but it makes it easier to hang this where you need it to be without worrying so much about where the outlet is. Since it's just a cord, switch and place to screw in a bulb, you can get your own kind of shade and choose your own look, without the commitment of hard-wiring. Two clips make it easy to hang the bulb plus keep the cord contained.

This is a good simple solution. I have a room with no light installed, so instead of hiring someone to do the electrical work which would have cost me a lot more then this light, I am using this for now. Works well.
