True story. I was night-time potty-training my son and tried another brand of incontinence pad. At 1 am he came into my room to wake me up. "Mommy, it's all moved around." I went into his room to see that the pad was all bunched up. I pulled off the pad, threw a pull-up on him, and slowly went back to sleep. As a mom who needs her rest, the next morning I went in search of another pad and came across and bought the Gorilla Grip pad. It has grippy dots on the underside. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the material was softer than the other one I had. I went to bed with my fingers crossed. At 7 am, my son came in to tell me that he wet the bed and needed help changing. While I had hoped he would be able to make it through the night without an accident, I was pleasantly surprised to see the pad in the same place I left it... with a huge wet spot that didn't leak onto the mattress. This product really lived up to its name. Five-star product.

Single Dad Approved

This pad is excellent. Super absorbent on top, bone dry on the bottom. It grips really well and is plenty big enough to cover "the zone" on a twin mattress. Dig.. My 5yo daughter is a deep, heavy sleeper and its difficult for her to listen to her body at night; ever so often she wets while sleeping. This pad has been a great asset in our routine to work through it without drama. Placed on top of a fitted sheep, the pad sticks in place really well, even with her tossing and turning (and jumping). Put a second fitted sheep on top of the pad, and make the bed. If there's an accident at night, its super easy to just pull off any wet blankets or sheets, remove the wet pad and oh! ... a dry, fitted sheet in place ready for tired little girls. Add new blanket if needed and she's back asleep in 5 min. No drama and Dad is back in bed asap. Winner. This pad has been a great tool in the parenting kit and I highly recommend it.

Large bed pad protector

This pad is twice the size of other pads I have purchased. It fits half of a queen size bed when put down length ways. It did not leak and kept our bed dry. I washed and dryer it yesterday for the first time and it looks new. I would recommend this product.

I'M A BELIEVER

I ordered the Gorilla Grip Incontinence Mattress Pad Cover on Jan 22. It was delivered on Jan 25. I read the instructions on how to wash it; it has a lifetime warranty up to 300 washes; it holds 8 cups of water. It states DO NOT use an acidic laundry detergent but you can use bleach. I thought how the heck am I to know that? I've used Gain as my first choice and Tide as my second choice in laundry detergents, and I was not going out to buy a new laundry detergent just for this pad. I didn't believe this thin thing could hold 8 cups of water without leaking so I put it to the test before reviewing. I just bought a brand new mattress. I stripped the bed and laid a large piece of plastic on the exposed mattress. I then poured 8 cups of water onto this pad. LOW AND BEHOLD, IT HELD EVERY DROP!!!! The plastic was not wet and nothing dripped from the pad when I lifted it face up. DO NOT turn the pad over because all that water will pour out. It passed the test and deserves 5-stars! Awesome for toddler

This gives exact measurements. I bought it for my toddler mattress, knowing it would be big. I got exactly what I thought I was buying. I only bought one just in case because sometimes products are not perfect. This was not what I experienced, this was amazing. I have a son who still is working on potty training at night, and soaking through has been an issue. No matter when we cut off fluids or mattress protectors we used, he still soaked through which ended up destroying his mattress. Although toddler mattresses are plastic coated, they still crack and urine soaks into those cracks which ruins the bed. Mind you, if he pees through into this, I of course have to wash it. This is not an issue, it washes nicely, and is saving me money and time. It soaks up everything I need it to, and this was money well spent!

Recommended for Dog Owners

Bought these to protect my hardwood floors from my 16 1/2 year old dog that cannot hold his pee all day while I am at work. So glad I did! They are super easy to keep clean. I just throw them in the washer when I get home from work and they wash nicely. I do wish they came in larger sizes though. I have to put two of them down to cover a large enough area, and occasionally my pup will pee on the seam, but otherwise they are amazing:-)

Good buy

Good product. Lies flat. Good absorbency. I began with one of these pads. They work so well I ordered more to replace my prior pads which bunch up on the bed and, during laundry, the layers separated and pooled water between the layers. I had to rearrange them and spin the water out. These pads stay together, saving that extra step. I still find it necessary to multi-pad the bed to protect the sheet, but it isn't the fault of the pad. My hubby is a restless sleeper and moves around a lot. Pads are much easier washed than changing sheets. I have tried many, many different pads and these are, by far, the best of all.

This is the one to buy if you’re in the market for them

I absolutely love this pad. We have been using it for almost a year now and it’s a lifesaver. My daughter occasionally wets her bed and is super embarrassed by it as she is getting older , so I put this pad under her fitted sheet and anytime she has an accident it catches and holds it all making it easy to pull off the sheet and pad and toss into the wash. It washes very well too. We have washed it probably 40 times now and it still absorbs perfectly and looks great, no stains at all. My daughter also gets chronic bloody noses and had a bad one while asleep one night, it was o bad we had to throw away her comforter, but this pad caught all the blood that would have ruined her mattress and it washed off with ease and no stains were left behind! I have recommended it many times to family and friends and continue to recommend it as well. It is also super helpful when camping! Just slide it in the sleeping bag and if any accidents happen, the sleeping bag stays dry and clean and you just wash the pad. Amazing product, I’ll buy extra just to have on hand.

It's pretty large. It's almost the length of the bed ...

I got this for my mom's queen bed. It's pretty large. It's almost the length of the bed and about two thirds the width, so it will protect even when she changes sleep positions. It also stays in place pretty well because of the backing. The quality is good. It does a great job keeping the sheets dry and it keeps its shape when washed. I was going to use it for travel, but it is pretty large and bulky to pack. Plus, it takes a long time to line dry once it's washed. I may go with something smaller, or even disposable pads instead. I haven't seen a smaller version of this particular one, so I would have to get a different brand. I would highly recommend this one for home use though.
