Most of the bed rails we looked at previously were really clunky and practically required us to have a mechanical engineering degree to install. By contrast, this one was super easy to use and lightweight—plus our kids really like it. The carry bag is nice too. All in all, quite happy with our purchase. Would definitely recommend it.

Welcome to the FUTURE

This. This is the best guard ever. I’ve had 9 kids, and I’ve struggled with those stupid rails forever. They’re in the way, they’re annoying, I’ve even had kids slide between them and the bed and get their head stuck upside down. I actually came to Amazon looking for a new one, as our old one had the bolts shear off from yet another incident. So glad I looked at this! Like a solid wall for baby or child, and not painful or dangerous. Don’t get the other brand that has a cover; obviously it will slip. Bare foam will stay in place. I put it under the mattress protector to keep clean, and if it should need a wash, foam is hand washable. Highly recommend!!!

I really like this bed bumper rail for my almost 3 year old who just started sleeping in a big bed. When I first opened it, it was so lightweight and I thought it was a lot of money for what looked like a pool noodle cut in half lengthwise. But when I put it on the bed under the fitted sheet, it stayed put and was so soft and just the right height, and kept my toddler from rolling off the bed that I decided it WAS worth the money. And the fact that it is so lightweight just makes it easy to take it with you while traveling. So I'm very happy with it and if we ever decide to pull the bed away from the wall, I'll buy another one for the other side. UPDATE: I've had this bed buddy bed rail for a few months now and it works so well that I just bought a second one so I could pull my little one's bed away from the wall. I'm also very pleased with the company's customer service. I've received 2 emails checking to make sure I was happy with product.

THIS WONDERFUL PRODUCT IS NOT JUST FOR TODDLERS

Finding the right product can often be difficult. I'm not a toddler, more of a toddler grandmother. Recently after some medical issues I started having restless leg syndrome at night. Twice I wound up on the floor with multiple bruises. I have a platform bed and when I looked at bed rails, they needed a box spring. Railings were also costly, needed installation and seemed overly restrictive. Then I saw the listing for Bed Buddy. It seemed to meet my needs, so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did. I've had my Bed Buddy for 2 months and I'm happy to report that I haven't had any out-of-bed incidents. My Bed Buddy arrived, I popped it under my fitted sheet and I was ready to go. And I got a bonus. Instead of sitting on an iron railing on the side of the bed I have a nice soft cushy area. I also use the ridge as an arm rest when I'm lying in bed. And I don't feel like I'm in a hospital bed.

Just what we needed

We recently built a bed for my two boys room -- loft style. My youngest is on the bottom, but still quite a drop from the floor. Railings weren't working so I found this "buddy". I figured it was worth the try. Well, it has proven to be a great investment. My son is 3 almost 4. It keeps him in and he even snuggles near it cause its a cozy nook. It doesn't move once its been put on the mattress under the fitted sheet. Even better that its easy to move around. We had some musical beds one night with sick kids and I had to move my little guy to my bed and brought the "buddy" with us. It was so easy to do in the middle of the night. Easy to install and did the trick. We have had it for about 2 weeks and we are very pleased with this purchase.

Perfect for my adult, special needs daughter's adjustable bed!

We recently purchased an adjustable bed for my adult daughter with special needs. The rail we had on her old bed would no longer work. The bed Buddy was the perfect solution. I put it under her fitted sheet after I have transferred her into bed. It stays all night and keeps her safely in bed.

Great quality product

we have a full toddler rail on the side of my daughter's bed and the first night we moved her into her big girl bed, she fell off at the foot of the bed. I ordered two of theses, one for my house, and one for my mom's house where we spend alot of time. I actually ordered another company first and was not happy becuase it was memory foam that I felt like she could roll right over. This foam is great bc its firm enough that she ca't just press it down. I put one of these width wise along the foot of her full size bed and was able to move it up close to her feet rather than putting it at the very foot so this allowed me to create sort of a smaller bed. For my mom's house its a twin size bed so i just cut off some length with a scissor which worked really well and used this at the foot of the bed. No falls since. Sense of security

This worked wonders for our two year old. She recently transitioned from her crib to a converted crib but because she moves around when she sleeps she would wiggle or slide out of the middle part that is now open. Then she would wake up and wander around and sometimes even sleep on the floor. Or cry for me, and with a newborn it made for even less sleep and sometimes very conflicted feelings about which child should be left crying. I didn’t think the bumper would work- she could still climb right into and out of her bed easily but it has been wonderful. I think it is a combination of the sense of security it gives her when she feels protected as well as the fact that she doesn’t fall out unexpectedly. She sometimes uses it as a pillow as well.
