So easy to clean!
I was going though so many cotton bibs and most of them did not have enough surface area to protect her clothes. While these are machine washable, I find that I never need to. I wipe down with a wash cloth or rinse off in the sink after we are done and they dry by the time we are ready for the next meal. Even prunes rinsed right out of the stitches without scrubbing. I don't know that we actually need three. We will probably keep one in the diaper bag and then just have an extra on hand. I usually don't like velcro, but since they are so easy to clean without putting in the washing machine I don't mind it. It does actually make it easier to get on an off, but still keeps her from pulling it off herself (and she has tried). I like how the attachment isn't in the middle, but is off to one side. It makes it so much easier than our other bibs. I went ahead and ordered the bib with the sleeves as well so we are ready when she wants to start feeding herself. These fit our baby just right, but may be a bit big for smaller or younger babies.

Large and easy to clean!
I purchased these after my baby started solids, she is a messy eater and we had the cloth type bibs before and the food would just soak through and inter her clothes. These are fantastic. They are large so they cover a lot of space, have a long Velcro attachment so it is easy to get a good fit around the neck. They are really easy to wipe clean, I usually clean them in the sink with a sponge between meals and stick them in the wash at the end of the day and they have held up well. My daughter likes to play with it while eating but since it is long, she still doesn’t manage to get her clothes dirty. The only con is that because my daughter pulls in it during her meal, the neck can come loose or pull down so I have to make sure to pull it back into place so it doesn’t stain her clothes. Otherwise I am very happy I purchased these. I placed a command hook on the back of her high chair and I store them there when they are clean.

The greatest bib in the history of bibs!
The greatest bib in the history of bibs! Through the last 12 years of babies and toddlers in our house (six kids spaced two years apart), these are the only bibs to last the test of time. We can wash them and wash them and wash them and they still look like new. They have perfect coverage to keep kids clean and dry, perfectly thin and water-resistant. When I don't want to run them through the laundry, I can rinse them off with a little dishsoap, hang them to dry, and they are ready to go for the next meal. Pocket catches the extra mess and the designs are darling. There is not a better bib out there. I will never use anything else. We've had them for 4+ years and they are all going strong Velcro is wearing a little, but still holds strong. Compact size makes them phenomenal for travel too!

These are amazing!!
These are amazing!!! I just started my baby on solids and it’s been so messy. I have the baby Bjorn hard bib but she cries whenever I put it on. I think she doesn’t like the firmness and the size. It is probably too much for a 5-6 month old. I have been using terry cloth drool bibs and now we are constantly doing laundry to prevent them from getting moldy and they are not holding up well from the mess and frequent washes. I found these bibs and they have been amazing. They cover her like a regular bib and then some. It protects her and her clothing so well. She doesn’t hate it because the material is soft so she can freely move her arms and torso. Most importantly. It washes so well. We have hand washed in sink and also in the washing machine. Comes out perfect both ways and dries so quickly when you hang it. I just hang it on a magnetic hook on the side of my refrigerator. No odors. No stains. Tough material. I bought six bibs but I probably would have gotten away with three since they are so durable. I keep one in my diaper bag now, too. I highly recommend these to any Mom who is starting solids with their baby. Starting solids can be such a pain because of the constant cleaning. Less mess, easy cleanup, and a happy baby!

Best bibs we've found! Here's why...
We have a 15 month old who's big for his age, and most bibs we've found don't cover his chest down to his belly, these however provide sufficient coverage almost down to his lap when sitting. Also most bibs have smaller neck sizes, these adjust for the widest variety of neck sizes we've found. We disliked the cloth bibs since as busy parents which most are, having to launder bibs after each meal is a pain because they become so soiled, could sit for days waiting to be laundered and start to stink, and when needing a bib right now, they're always all dirty because one parent forgot to wash them all. We have also tried the silicone bids with the built in catch tray which are super easy to clean and dry but after a child starts to seriously feed themselves, the silicone bibs get in their way because of their ridigity and they become frustrated often trying to take off the bib. These bibs however once on, my child doesn't notice them as they're very flexible, but maintain coverage despite his movements, the material is almost like a thicker waterproof table cloth. They're super easy to clean after dinner, just wash them with the dishes in the sink and hang them upside down on a chair or faucet (not sure if they're dish washer safe, but would do fine in the laundry). The built in catch tray lays flatter than the silicone bib, but it still catches most of the food that drops from his mouth or slides down his chest which keeps his pants clean. The designs are super cool btw, very cute and we get compliments on them when we're out to eat. The bibs are very packable, fold down to almost nothing and are lightweight, so no issues taking them on trips whatsoever.

Great bibs!
*Edit: Over a year and a half later and these are still holding up and in great shape. I think the key was to always air dry. Now our daughter is older and we only use them for messy times like spaghetti or juicy oranges but I plan on keeping them for when our youngest starts solids. These would make a great gift for expecting parents too! I'm very pleased with the Bumpkins bibs. We were gifted Skip Hop bibs which were absolutely adorable but due to my lack of care they did not last long. Plus the velcro clasp area was small and would come undone at the slightest movement. Instead of ordering more of those I decided to try out these bibs. For one, the patterns are cute and I love the colors available. Second, the velcro sticky side is a normal size but the latching side is a longer strip which makes it possible to do a tighter or looser fit around the neck. Third, the pocket holds up well to catching food and liquid that misses the mouth. Fourth, the top covers my daughter's shoulders and provides great coverage throughout. Rarely is there a meal or snack time that requires a change of clothes due to poor performance from the bib. My only advice is to take proper care of these. After meals, I rinse the bib with a bit of soap in the sink and let hang dry. Most of the time they are dry enough for the next meal, but sometimes the neck/velcro part can be a tad damp so we alternate between two bibs. I only find the need to throw them through the washing machine once a week and let them HANG DRY. I think the drying part is where I went wrong with the Skip Hop bibs. So far these bibs have proved to be a great purchase.

My favorite bibs in the whole world
My favorite bibs in the whole world. I used these over 10 years ago when I was a nanny and I thought to myself "when I have kids, I'm buying these bibs for meal times!" And so 6 years later I bought one for my first born! I lost that one though (had little owls on it!) and so when I had my second I just went and bought some generic bibs at target....HUGE disappointment. The other brand always smelled like yucky baby vomit and eventually started to smell moldy, the print got all wrinkled and gross looking and the integrity of the bib collapsed with each wash. So I ordered these and will never use another bib. These bibs wash amazing, Just use a little dish soap and scrub, then wring out to dry. Probably takes about 2 or 3 hours to dry so they are ready by the time the next meal rolls around. I love this particular little set. Cute little whales and sea animals and the bonus chevron print! If your on the fence, climb over it. You won't regret it!

Great bibs for baby starting solids
My 6 month old son started solids so I wanted an easy bib to clean. This bib is just the right size- covers most of this upper body and is a thin plastic material that you can just wash off with a dish sponge and soap. The little pouch catches any spills or pieces that fall down. The design is super cute and a bonus for taking pictures of all the funny faces your baby will make when trying new foods. For now I definitely prefer these to the bulkier rubber bibs.

Stop washing bibs
Maybe you're like me, and you went through 2 or 3 fancy Aden & Anais or whatever bibs every day, and piled up a good 20 bibs that were washed every week. And then you heard about Bumkins. And you bought some, and you realized your whole bib collection was obsolete, because a single 3-pack is all you need. These don't need to be laundered. Just rinse in the sink and squeeze them out after each feeding. Or maybe you're not like me and you got it right the first time. Either way - for feeding, this is the bib you need. The cloth ones might be better for teething drool, but for messy high chair feedings, nothing beats this.

Just as good after 2.5 years of use
We love these bibs! They are so easy to wipe down, rinse off or even wash in soapy dishwater. We have a set we bought 2.5+ years ago which functionally are in the exact same condition as the old ones. We are very hard on them, both in use and cleaning them, too. We use them for both crafts and meals now. I literally submerge them in hot soapy dishwater, rinse and air dry. After nearly 3yrs the backing has thinned a little, but they are just as waterproof. If your are gentler with them they may wear better. The Velcro-like clasp has held up. The colors held up too —on that note my old set was the wrong color for my 2nd born, which is why I can make this comparison.
