Durable, well designed, great value

My husband and I bought five of these bags in different colors and sizes to take with us on our four-week trip to Alaska, which included time in the backcountry. We schlepped these bags on commercial jets, small planes, ferries, cars, and even our sea kayak for 10 days (we used two bags to tote dry bags and bear canisters up and down the beach). The material in theory could've been a lighter weight ripstop nylon, which would also dry faster, but we found the bags a fine weight and sufficiently durable. One has some mild abrasions/thin spots in the bottom. We've also gently washed these bags in the washing machine, and they turn out great. We're happy.

I love this bag

I love this bag. I ordered it for vacation If you are looking for a very decent sized, durable bag,and priced right, for the week vacation,I would recommend this one. I have 10 shirts, 10 shorts,( 2 people), 2 pants, 2windbreakers,and under clothing,(for 2) including socks only 8 pair cause don't always wear socks on vaca. 3 bathing suits for me,3 pair bathing bottoms for men, 4 beach towels, 2 pair sweat pants, and 2 sweatshirts.I have shampoo and conditioner in side pocket. And 2 pair sandals in the back pocket (love it), With extra room to spare. I have in inner zipper pocket, nail polish,clippers,travel cotton swabs,toothbrushes,toothpaste,deodorants,and shavers.and cream(travel sized deodorant). Just to give you idea of the room. I am all set to go.Hooked the sunscreen to the zipper, Everyone seems to loose it,or get clothing filled, yuck so problem solved. And yes the zipper zips without sitting on top of bag . LOL Gonna buy smaller one for my son.

Exceeded my expectations!

I bought this duffle bag for my 15 year old daughter who leaving on a 4 week missions trip. She needed to pack 12 changes of clothes (they were able to do laundry on the trip) and all toiletries and 2 extra pairs of shoes and swimwear in the bag. This bag totally delivered! It fit everything and then some! She loved being able to store her dirty clothes in the separate compartment. After her trip we went over all the seams to check for any loosening or pops. We found none. The zipper functioned well. The quality of the fabric was top notch! Lightweight but, very durable. Her bag was loaded and unloaded several times by teenagers who just threw it into and off of a 15 passenger van. This bag definitely exceeded my expectations. The only criticism my daughter had was that it would have been nice to have a padding on the shoulder strap. My older daughter loved it so much that I am ordering her one for her birthday. The price ($25) could not be beaten for the quality and performance of this bag.

Great big bags, so efficient, and so easy to store!

I love these.. They are exactly the same as the Bago duffles, same material same quality, but at a lower price and with better (understated) colors! I was concerned they would be less than the Bago bags which I also like a lot, but were always either out of stock or the colors were just way too bright for me (maybe if I was 30 years younger I would like those neon colors!) So, bottom line is, I bought a few in the dark grey, and just bought the dark green. They are so light and take up nearly no space when folded up, yet they can carry a ton when expanded! I love these, both for traveling and when I'm not traveling (stored). Highly recommend. The grey color is beautiful btw.

Nice, large bag for the money

The bag arrived quickly and was well packaged. I like the maroon color as it matches my luggage. The bag was larger than I expected so I hope I can make it work without it being too heavy. It folds back very easily to a small flat shape which will be easy to store. The sides do not stand alone so I've purchased some packing cubes which I hope will give it more stability when it's opened. I have not used it yet, but it seems like it would be durable. I love the fact that it has a padded area on the longer strap - that should help with the weight.

Worked out great!

I ordered this bag to stuff my 80l back pack in while traveling to Ecuador. The bag held up very well. The best part is that I pasted the bag with out checking it and I was able to carry it onto the plane !

THESE BAGS ARE MAKING THIRD TRIP TO AFRICA AND BACK

I bought these bags to take to Africa. I filled 2 of them with 50# each. Some of the items were soft and other items were hard and heavy. Of course you will have to use common sense to insure you protect what you are carrying as well as try not to have sharp object near the outside of the bag. They have now gone to Africa and back twice and will be going again this next month. They still look great with very little evidence of wear. I leave a lot of what I carry there for my family who live there so being able to fold them up and carry them home empty is great. They have been expose to rain and have kept the contents dry. I won't say that they are waterproof but they definately do protect against moisture getting in which is all I expect. The complaints about the clips on the shoulder strap is valid but it doesn't take an engineering degree to figure out how to use a pair of pliers to make a slight adjustment. The bright color (green) helps me to identify them easily at the luggage claim.

Best duffle bag ever

Best duffle bag ever! I used this to pack my 6 month old’s pack n play (graco carnival which has dimensions of 26x8x8.5). This bag’s dimensions are 27x14x14. Which means i had 6 more inches at the top to pack all his clothes and diapers. I used the front pockets for all his toiletries (lotion, butt paste, shampoo, soap, etc.) and the side pockets for yep...more diapers. I basically just used this duffle bag as his luggage. It also worked well since the bag was about the size length-wise of the pack n play so when you throw it over your shoulder (just make the shoulder strap short), its easier to carry since theres no room for the pack n play to move around. I actually used the hand straps as a ‘shoulder strap’ as it was easy to throw over. We also just threw this bag on to the stroller (bc it gets heavy walking from baggage claim to the rental car area) and it fit perfectly without tipping the stroller over. I like that it folds into a nice compact size so it doesnt take up room in the closet. Cause yeah, lets be real, theres so much other bulky baby crap taking up space already. Also, i imagine this will be a handy bag for him to use when he’s older for sports equipment or for camp. So for $20 that will grow with the kid and get a lot of years in? Cant ask for any better than that.

Love, love, love this bag! Usually when I go on a weekend getaway I take a bunch of clothes not knowing what I'm going to wear, my pillow, shoes, and get ready stuff. I normally had to have a bag for my clothes, another bag for my pillow, and another bag for my makeup, hair straightener, and other get ready stuff. Plus my shoes just by themselves. Now with this bag, I only have to take 1 bag! :-). It has a spot for shoes, makeup, and a ton of room for clothes. I probably could take this on a week long vacation instead of taking a suitcase. I love the fact it zips up into itself for easy storage! Definitely recommend!!! I'm am buying more!!

Sturdy bag at a great price!

Needed a collapsible duffel to keep in my suitcase for return trips. I buy a lot of gifts and souvenirs. Had one of those cheapo red plaid plastic bags, but it ripped and the zipper was horrible, and the airport always made me wrap it, which cost me an extra $8 to $12 every time I used it. I was worried that such an affordable bag would be cheaply made with inferior material. Great high tech material and quality construction. It's BIG but will within the limits allowed by the airlines. For added protection of my stuff, I'll probably cut some cardboard to fit inside it, and lay that flat in the front zipper of my regular suitcase. Pull out the cardboard and this handy little bag, and I'll practically have a soft side suitcase to pack all my extra goodies.
