I am so happy. I can put outgoing mail out in my mailbox again. I am so happy. I did have a little difficulty installing it, but it was because I didn't have the correct sized screw driver.

Mailbox Flag

Nice little kit.I have NO idea where my old flag went off of my mailbox but this new flag lined right up with the holes from the old one.It took like 2 minutes to install.Perfect.Plus,the number labels are a nice bonus! Recommended!

A good option if the side of your mailbox is flat/even

Didn't realize until I got this that it was 3D printed. I should have just 3D printed my own version of this! But it was a reasonable price and just as described. This will work better if the side of you brick mailbox is relatively flat. My bricks are quick rough so finding a way to mount this is going to be tricky (and will involve a lot of washers to offset it so the flag will open and close without obstruction). This isn't the fault of the design but just something to be aware of. If you have uneven bricks you might consider the pull out model also sold here on Amazon.

Solid mailbox flag

Given the relatively low price of this product, I was (somewhat) concerned about quality, but given other positive reviews, I thought I would give it a chance. Item is of a very high quality -- heavy duty flag and mounting base is very solid. (Note that this item is not adhesive mounted, though both self-tapping screws and machine screws / nuts are provided). Installation took minutes, and it looks -- and functions -- better than the cheap flag that was mounted to my mailbox. Very satisfied, Highly recommended.

Easy to install

Very easy to install. I purchased this flag for a wall mount mailbox. Drilled the two holes and it's done. I wanted something that wouldn't rust. I noticed the flag moves very easy. I'm more concerned that it will stay in place where I set it. Time will tell.

Did not have to buy a new mailbox

This was a lifesaver instead of having to buy a new mailbox. The kit fit right onto my existing mailbox and I did not have to drill or modify the mailbox. The flag functions with no problems and the number stickers were a great addition to the mailbox.

Durability Over Time

I have had my flag holder installed. My son was visiting and installed it for me. I have a mailbox that is inside an enclosure. My son had to get a different drill bit to install the flag. I have to see how the flag holder withstands a test of time. So far, so good.

This kit installed easily and the hardware was included. I did have to drill a new hole in. E mailbox but that’s expected. It works well so far and when the flag is extended up it stays in place.
