• Solo Stove Bonfire, the world's most unique fire pit, pushes the limits of both combustion airflow efficiency and minimalist outdoor design with its all stainless steel construction. It was painstakingly engineered to provide a backyard fire experience that cannot be duplicated. Our patent pending design sold over $1.1M sold on Kickstarter.
  • SECONDARY COMBUSTION - Double wall design maximizes airflow and burning process. Bottom vent holes allow oxygen to the feed the fire from below while simultaneously channeling warm oxygen up between the walls of the stove and back into the fire.
  • EFFICIENT BURN/LOW SMOKE - A more complete burn means little to no smoke. It also means no more half burnt logs to deal with.
  • NO MORE DODGING SMOKE - Since Bonfire burns with almost no smoke, you'll spend less time dodging smoke and your clothes won't smell. You'll spend more time enjoying the fire!
  • EASY TO USE & PORTABLE - The Bonfire’s singular construction completely removes the need for parts and assembly. There is literally no setup. Heavy duty carry case included. Size: 14" tall, 19.5" diameter.

We bought this for a party and everyone was so impressed. Box came with well packaged tight foam frame for top and bottom of the bowl. Instruction is simple enough, put wood in the bowl and light it; how simpler can you get? As soon as the first log catches on fire, you really don't need to do anything, you don't have to keep turning them, blow air in as you would on traditional firepit; just keep adding when needed. You don't need to keep moving the logs as it is not necessary and it is awesome to see how fast the new one will catch on fire. The air in-take from the bottom of the bowl and out let (the holes on top and more on the bottom) really works well. It is clearly mesmerizing to see it burn. The side wall gets really hot so be careful, you will be burned. The bowl isn't that heavy where moving it around is not difficult. At the end, I was surprised to see how well all the logs were burned and how little it created ashes. For the first time use, I put a cardboard on the bottom to protect the brick pave but I don't think it is needed. Overall, it looks and feels very well constructed, modern stainless steel looking, and I was impressed with the quality and how easy it is to enjoy. If you are thinking to buy one, this is a winner.

Must have for the campfire connoisseur. The Solostove Bonfire burns very clean, never had a problem starting a fire. I have used it several times and never had to turn or flip the logs to keep the fire burning. Lots of heat. No smoke. Move the fire to different locations and never leave a mess. It's perfect! Does everything as advertised.

I absolutely hate campfires, but my husband loves them. So obviously that created quite a problem for us. Our solution, the Solo Stove! The reason I don’t like campfires is because I always smell like them afterwards, my hair, my clothes, it’s awful! However, after giving the Solo Stove a few tries, I haven’t smelled like fire once!! I call that a win-win! So if you’re like me, and can’t stand smelling like campfire, I’d highly recommend giving this a try!

Love this!! It doesn't take much wood at all to get a nice fire. We needed heat on the deck and with the added cage on top we don't need to worry about a fire on the deck. Great buy! The picture without the cage was 4 minutes after we started the fire. I also added a picture of the cage product if you want to order that too. Update October: this fire pit is still amazing! I wouldn't leave it outside or it starts to rust. We use the starter log bricks and only need to break off a small piece to get the fire started. Once it's going it's good. We have it on our wood deck and set it on a couple pavers so the deck doesn't start on fire but the bottom doesn't get very hot. The cage we bought for the top keeps all the sparks from going on the deck so it's perfect. We have fires at least twice a week since we got it and no issues:)

I don't write a lot of reviews, but feel compelled with this purchase. I have now burned several fires in the Solo Fire pit and am very impressed. What you get is a hot virtually smokeless campfire. The first time we used it was on a cold (45°) night with high winds. Prefect scenario for smoke. Little if any smoke and after about 4 hours of burning wood, we didn't smell like the fire pit. Burnt down to total ash and clean up was a breeze! I highly recommend.

I got this product around Thanksgiving as an early Christmas gift. I had been wanting this for sometime. Every time I've had a fire with this thing, which has been about 5 times, it had been awesome. It isn't as shiny as it was when I first I got it. The outside has a gold look and the inside is dark and charged from where the fire got hot, but it is still very strong. I know alot of people are worried about losing the silver stainless steel look to it, but that is just what happens when you have a fire going in this thing. The secondary burn is so memorizing. The best way to describe it it looks like liquid fire. It's easy to get started, but make sure to use alot of smaller wood so you can get hot coals going at the bottom. Once you have those hot coals it's smokeless and will burn up any wood you throw in it. Now for those that might be concerned with having to leave it out over night especially if rain is on the way. Get the Campfire defender. It's a fireproof blanket, that will cover the Solostove. I've put the link up. This is a huge life saver for this thing. It burns wet wood to ash. Starts with crumpled newspaper. It was 52 degrees last night and I was in a t-shirt and shorts sitting almost 4 feet away because the fire was HOT! There were 4 other people around it and all were toasty. I'm 55 and a pyromaniac. I've been building fire for 50 years in all sorts of contraptions. THIS IS THE BEST FIRE MACHINE I'VE EVER USED!!!!!!! The only negative is I no longer have any use for my favorite fire poker. Once you put something into this washing-machine-tub looking-thing, it will burn. There is no need to readjust anything to make it burn. I've used it 4 times and even the soggy root ball that I've been trying to burn for the past six months(I even poured gasoline onto it a month ago and it still would not burn) was reduced to soft gray ash! I've already used my quota of exclamation marks in this review, so I will end it.

This is the best Solo Stove hands down!!! Is it expensive? yes. Is it worth it? HECK YEAH!!! I have the Titan, the Campfire and the Bonfire. They are all really good, but the Bonfire has quickly become my favorite. When I first got it, I was shocked at how big it was. This is NOT a backpacking stove by any means. Besides using it to keep warm on the patio, or the back yard at night, you could also us it to clean up the yard from any branches that have fallen. It does smoke a little when you first start it, but when it gets up to operating temperature there is no smoke. If you have a yard, and wood to burn BUY THIS NOW!!!!!!!

The Solo Stove Bonfire is the perfect outdoor fireplace. It’s so versatile! We have a small yard, we can place it on a dirt patch at the far end and—Voilá—we’re suddenly camping! Or if we’re feeling a little more Up-Town—this little guy only weighs 20 pounds—then Bam! We’re already moving it over to the tiled patio with our Target-brand outdoor recliners—high class livin! And it looks great. The overall aesthetic is very refined. If Minimalist-Bauhaus got together with Polished-Industrial-Tendencies their baby would be this perfect bundle of Formalistically forged metal—a one foot tall perfectly smooth fire-nub. The Solo Stove Bonfire also comes with a tough fabric carrying case so you can take it wherever you like—the beach, camping, picnics, anywhere that strikes your fancy (well, as long as you can have a fire there;) The self containing smoke design is the best! It helps keep the smell from your clothes. Of course, there are still traces of smoke when you start the fire, but it’s minimized. My favorite part about the contained smoke is it helps conceal the whole ‘fire-pit-thing’ from Pete. Who’s Pete? Next door neighbor Pete. Righteous Pete. Jobless Pete. Always angry Pete. Racist Pete (he once said to us, “We got rid of the noisy Mexicans to the left of my house, we can get you too!”) Oh Pete. It would just make my life easier if he doesn’t call the fire department on us at the first chance he gets. And guess what? With the self contained smoke, I think we got a fighting chance! Thanks Solo Stove Bonfire!
