Finally upgraded my 6 year old webcam in my home office, just so my coworkers can have better view of my face (and since most are in Pittsburgh, they can also see the Patriots and Red Sox banners on the wall behind me!). The higher resolution lets me use the digital pan, tilt, and zoom functions in WebEx without degrading video quality for my coworkers (again, so I can zoom in on the banners on the wall or on the dog sleeping on the chair behind me... oh, yea, and on my wonderful face!). Coworkers report good audio quality when using it as the microphone (on days I don't want to mess up my hair with a headset). The LED "on" lights aren't overly bright (my monitor provides sufficient front-lighting for me when on calls). Using it through a 4-port KVM and all PCs recognize it without issue (actually, from the KVM there is a powered 4-port USB Hub from which the 32" Omen monitor is attached with the camera plugged into the monitor for cable management purposes). I like the threaded mounting option--I tried using a mini-tripod I had from a camera and it worked well before I top mounted it on the monitor (I kept whacking it on my desk when moving my keyboard, etc...). Flip-out rubber "foot" on the top mount works well. Hinges hold it solidly in place--not too hard to move, but not too easy... I purchased a third-party snap-on lens cover since this used in a home office (read that as, no-one wants to see me in PJ's checking my Amazon purchase at 2am).

Just used this for video conference. Significantly better than the built in camera on my Dell XPS-15 (which is mounted in a terrible position, down by the keyboard). Excellent resolution, clarity, and color rendition. Works perfectly with Zoom (our video conference platform), including handling Zoom's virtual background feature better than the Dell built-in cam. Also, other folks in the meeting said that the sound quality of the Logitech webcam microphone is significantly better than the Dell built-in mic. Last but not least, being able to position the camera left-to-right on top of my screen allows for much more natural eye contact (with the Dell built-in camera folks said it always looked like I was staring off into space). I felt silly spending good money to buy a webcam for use with a brand new Dell laptop that had a camera and mic, but one video conference showed the value of this purchase. (Sorry Dell: The XPS-15 is a beautiful laptop overall, but the camera design and placement is somewhere between silly and stupid.) I've had great luck with the previous versions of this Logitech webcam, and the C922x is a proud new member in this long line of excellent performers.

Works with my 2 Windows 10 computers, one Home, one Pro. Works with "Open Broadcaster Software (OBS)" streaming software, I tested it. Seems to work with Xsplit, but I have not actually streamed with it yet. Microphone sensitivity is not as good as the top rated Blue Yeti dedicated microphone, but it seems to be of "Normal" quality for a webcam. Using the free recommended downloadable software, this webcam will indeed replace your background without using a "green screen", and replace your background with any of the included themed backgrounds, or your own photo. The automatic human edge detection is not perfect, sometimes chopping off my hair, parts of my body! It's probably good enough for non professional streaming broadcasts. If you want true background replacement, you will have to buy a "green screen" and use it as your physical background. The cable is somewhat too short, so make sure you buy an extra long USB wire (USB-B to USB-mini).

I have been a bit surprised talking to friends about how good I find this webcam. The response is inevitably, "I don't need one. I have a camera built into my laptop." Well, so do I. In fact, I have that plus three webcams. Any of these webcams are vastly superior to any built in camera that I have ever seen in any laptop. And those are inevitably the cameras that make you look like you are bloodless and made of polished white clay. I know that the title of this product is "Pro Stream Webcam" and yeah, you can use this if you have your own Youtube channel, but it really makes Skyping far more enjoyable, with not just the camera improving things over the camera included on a laptop, but the sound quality surpassing the basic mic, though I prefer a higher quality standalone mic. I will confess that while I absolutely love this camera, I'm actually using a different one for recording purposes. I won't say which camera I'm using, but I love that it is spectacular at background detail. I love that I can film myself in front of a bookcase with the titles of all my books crisp and readable. But that is more a personal preference. This is a very find webcam and whatever your need, this should be much more than anything you can ever hope to get in a laptop. Highly recommended

Incredibly easy to setup and get going. I will say however, the software they want you to use to automatically remove the background is not compatible with windows 10. This is a known, and ongoing issue.

This camera is incredible for streaming! Plug and play for the most part! No discs to install, no additional software it wants to install. Just a couple of drivers. One of the best things about it, is that it also came with 6 months free of premium Xsplit. I was still unfamiliar with Xsplit, but having used it now, I will definitely be buying it after my free trial! My streams look beautiful! The camera captures in 1080p, which may not look like it while recording, but trust me, when you play it back the 1080p resolution is there. Here is example of the capture ability between this camera and premium Xsplit: twitch.tv/videos/123856652 . This is probably the best package deal you can get to start streaming immediately! Atleast from your pc. For PS4/Xbox your best bet is probably the Elgato HD60 S capture card connected to your pc. Even then, you go through Xsplit, and capture yourself with the Logitech C922x Pro. This camera also works very well for chromakey/green screen. It may be more the software on Xsplit that is incredible, but none the less it looks great! Overall one of the best purchases I've made for sharing my gaming experiences with others. And you'll want the Pro Stream over the standard Webcam. $23 more for 60fps is worth it! 10/10 product and without a doubt would recommend this to anyone that wants to get started streaming!

I am pleased with this camera and the quality it produces. I own the prior model, C920 which was handed down to my son for recording. The upgraded frame rate to 60fps during 720p recordings is extremely clean, and produces very good quality recordings when used in conjunction with OBS. Set up of the camera was a breeze, however the UI was a tad different and took some time to fine tune settings. The indicator light showing it is in use has changed from a blue as was present on the C920 to a soft white, which at times feels easier on the eyes. If you happen to have the privacy cover from the C920, you will be pleased as punch to know it is compatible with this model. As with the previous model, the microphone leaves me wanting more however I only used it for testing purposes as I have a dedicated microphone for voice recording. The background replacement feature is nice, however I feel chromakey-ing with a dedicated green screen is still the way to go. That being said, it did a very good job in taking out the background, especially with my living room having more than one solid color to have to phase out. I really like this camera, and have yet to come across any real issues.

I bought the C922x for Twitch streaming purposes only and I must say this webcam is a must. Upon plugging the webcam into a USB connection, the Logitech Camera Settings desktop app downloaded in which you can adjust the webcam control that involved how close or far you want the camera from your position and an auto focus option. You also have the Advance Settings in which you can adjust the brightness, contrast, color intensity and white balance (which is clicked on auto by default). You also have the Anti-flicker option to set at NTSC - 60Hz or PAL - 50Hz. Lastly, you have the Device Info tab in the app to give you details about your webcam. Some of the cons I have with this webcam is the Personify ChromaCam which is the background replacement option without the need for a green screen. The software for this option is not very good, I always found this option would cut off pieces of myself such as my head and arms (kinda funny though). Because I didn't like this option, I went and got myself a green screen and set up a Chroma Key filter in OBS to get rid of my background and in my opinion this option is much better over the Personify option. The other con I have is that every time I booted up my computer from shutting down for the night, I would always be notified to download the latest software for the webcam. I had to do this 3 or 4 times thinking 'okay, I updated the software so it should stop,' and it never did. To stop this I had to open Task Manager -> Startup and disable the Logitech Download Assistant. Despite these cons, I still give the Logitech Webcam 5 stars because it does what I want it to do in regards to streaming. It is very easy to setup and start using. I would recommend getting a green screen over the Personify option if you plan to stream or just want a better background replacement.

I've been looking for a new webcam for awhile now. My old webcam was the Logitech QuickCam 9000 Pro which was great at the time but was limited to 720p and at low frames per second. The Logitech C922x Pro is a lot better video and sound quality. A large upgrade over my previous camera. Time will tell if the C922x is as durable as my old camera. My old 9000 was super durable and I've dropped it a number of times or had it fall off my monitor. The mount on the 9000 was terrible and never liked to stay on my monitor. The 922x mount is much better and sits solidly on my monitor, that alone was worth the upgrade. My only gripe is that I wish it came with a privacy cover. The HUIYUN Webcam Privacy Shutter Protects Lens Cap Hood Cover For Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 and C930e fits perfect for the 922x and is cheap.
