The answer to kids who don’t mind their parents requests

When you have a septic system and your kids don’t like to listen to their parents about standing in the shower for 1/2 hour at a time, this works wonders!! Ah the sound of “dad, there’s hardly any water coming out of the faucet anymore” to the response “hmmm, I’ll have too look into that” is only surpassed with a wry smile. Now they can knock themselves out and spend half the day in the shower!

It worked as described, in my case I have a shower head that leaks no matter what has been done to the plumbing. I've been able to narrow it done to something the city I live in is doing to the water system on a quarterly basis given that I have tried everything else to stop the leak. This valve works great as I simply turn off the ability of the any water to get through to the shower head which stops the leak.

I'm very pleased with this control valve. It's well made, not flimsy, with a good finish. It installed easily with a bit of teflon tape (not included). It works just as expected.

Multi-Purpose Flow Control Valve Shut Off Switch

I've had this exact flow control switch for my shower head for about 3 years and I needed another one for my garden hose so I figured I get what I always used. Even though this is advertised for shower head both the male and female screw sides are standard sizes so they can be attached to pretty much a wide verities of thing. The water flow control switch is very sturdy (as I said my last one is still working after 3 years). It doesn't leak whatsoever, and the it is able to shut off water completely. The flow can be adjusted pretty much from complete shut to complete flow very smoothly and effectively. It doesn't get corroded either at least not yet. The new one I got also comes with a mesh filter in it that t he last one didn't come with which is a great addition. I highly recommend these!
