My son (12 years old) started juggling about a year ago with a teacher at his school. I bought this as a graduation gift for him. He love them. Says they are great. Will buy another set when he is ready to juggle more that 3 balls at a time.

beautiful, quality product

These are high quality. Worth the extra $5, easy. They *are* firm. I was liking the soft, squishy kind, but shortly realized that the firmer balls are better for consistency. They are also beautiful.

Go pro with these hydras

These balls are AWESOME! I've been juggling SO hard with these Hydras. Got that cascade, that column, that crossing column, that tennis, that droppety-drop. Got all that with these balls. If you wanna go pro, get these balls in your hands ASAP.

Love these

They are the perfect size, not too big like a tennis ball. Also I like these because they don't roll away when you drop them, probably because they are weighted well.

Great starter set

Great starter set! I purchased this set because of the great reviews it has had and I have not had any problems. I am also proud to say that I have learned how to juggle now because of this set but I have not watched the tutorial because I followed online YouTube tutorials. I definitely recommend this set to anyone who wants to start juggling.

Stop chasing your balls!

These balls are even better than I thought they would be. I just turned sixty and took up juggling for my body and my mind before I lose both of them. It is frustrating at first but soon it is fun and it will take your mind off all of life's list of BS!

Night and day

I have an old pair that are filled with birdseed. I thought they had a nice feel. These Hydras balls are SUPERB! I'm going to buy more and bring them to work so I can share the fun! The weight and quality is impressive.

Love these balls.

Really great juggling balls. They have little bounce so they don't end up across the room if dropped. They are filled firmly with something grainy, but stay very round when handled. Nice feel and weight.

I thought they were pretty good. If you're just getting started in your juggling I think you'll like them. They're about the size of a tangerine though. The only down side I could see would be the seams, it's not hard to envision those seams coming loose after a lot of use.
