I thought the pop filters wouldn’t work as well because of the metal mesh as opposed to a fabric mesh, and they are a little harder to mount on the mic, but these provide excellent plosive protection and, once mounted, provide a sturdy install. The shock mounts are metal framed with an easy pinch-to-open clamp and a nice foam padding. I’ve looked at professional shock mounts for $60-80 and I like these better. For the price, you can’t beat this package, they could easily charge more.

I really enjoy this shock mount and the fact that it comes with a pop filter is an added bonus. The mount itself does a fantastic job of reducing vibrations from its surroundings should my phone vibrate on my desk or I accidentally bump into it with my knee or chair. The pop filter it comes with is u-shaped and lined with a woven mesh material and attaches to the mic with two woven elastic bands on the back that fit snugly around my mic. For those that may be wondering this will fit the Audio-Technica 2020 just fine, and since it is a Cardioid condenser mic, the shape of the pop filter does a nice job of effectively covering the entire pick up range of the AT2020. The only thing I would say to be careful of, and it's not even that big of a deal, is watch out for the elastic bonds that secure the pop filter to your mic. They sit on plastic tips on either sides with lips on them so they don't easily fly off, but I did have the bottom band fly across my room when initially putting it on, although I may have also put too much tension on it causing it to sling off. Outside of that, the mount itself is impressive and the fact that it includes a pop filter while still being reasonably priced is quite awesome.

Solid construction, easy to "assemble," and the adapter proved handy for my new mic boom arm. I have the CAD U37 microphone and wasn't sure if it would fit so I took a leap of faith based upon my measurements of the U37 and the reported dimensions of this shock mount. Bottom line: it fit like a glove. I especially like the wrap-around pop filter as it takes up less space than traditional pop filters but is just as effective.

*I am not an audio expert* I needed to record some speeches and some voice stuff and ended up buying a nice mic and stand, but needed a mount and pop filter. While looking at pop filters, this one popped up and what a deal! You get a shock mount and pop filter, both work great. USAGE: Using the shock mount is fairly easy. I will say (and to save others from having the "ah ha, I'm an idiot" moment), there are two butterfly-type tabs you can squeeze together that will widen the middle of the mount to make it easier to slide the mic in. When you let go of the tabs it will tighten back around the mic. Makes it a lot easier than pinching your fingers trying to separate out space by hand.

I have been using this Pop Filter and Shock Mount for about 4 months now in tandem with my Audio Technica AT2020 XLR Microphone and Neewer Scissor Arm. Pros: -Both the Shock Mount and the Pop Filter are a perfect fit for the AT2020, super snug! -The Pop Filter does a great job blocking the splosives, many people have commented in game chats and in my YouTube videos that my voice sounds really high quality with my setup. I couldn't be happier with it. -The Shock Mount really does what is intended and stops unintended noise from vibrations from bumping my desk or even the Neewer Scissor arm. Cons: -I have bumped the Shock Mount itself a handful of times causing the friction tightened angle adjuster to come loose and spin my mic upside down. It doesn't come loose or fall, it just inverts because of how the angle adjuster tightens. It has a little plastic knob that you can tighten down really good, however because of the direction my mic is when I bump it I am pushing it at the same angle to loosen that knob and then the weight of the AT2020 causes it to invert. This has not been a huge issue, since I can just lift up the mic and tighten the knob in just a couple of seconds. For me this was not enough of an issue to warrant removing a star. In Conclusion, this is a really great budget option to help reduce noise from vibrations to your mic, and reducing splosives with the pop filter. I highly recommend it!

This is a GREAT buy if your singer loves to eat the mic! It connects via rubber bands to most tube and condenser mics ie:C-12, 251, U87, U67 but is too small for some of the very large mics. THROW THE CAGE AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR MICS. These cheap cages will drop the mic within 10-20 uses. But for this price, who cares, the total price is half what you would pay for a similar pop filter in the music store.

Works really well with the Audio-Technica AT2020USB PLUS Cardioid Condenser USB Microphone

Update: UPSTORE offered me a refund and shipped me a new replacement product. The new product was in great condition. They said that they took my feedback into consideration for future products as well. The support alone is reason enough to change my rating on this product. I'm guessing the package was just damaged in transit and there was nothing they could do about it. UPSTORE seems like they are trying to ship good products and keep customers satisfied. OLD REVIEW: My product arrived crammed into a tiny box. All of the metal was bent and one of the pieces of metal was even broken off. Terrible product, I would not recommend this to anyone.

Great Shock Mount, the pop-filter fits over your Condencer Mic. The box comes with a Black Spider type Shock Mount, that is Studio worthy and will last years with care. Also wrap around Condercer mic pop-filter, I still use my CAD pop-filter to keep my distance between the mic and my voice, so I get a consistent level on the vocal track. The wrap around pop-filter does do a great job of stopping the dreaded "P" pop from your voice. Also with the Shock Mount and pop-filter is a brass Euro converter threaded sleeve, to go from U.S. to Euro threads, and if your like me you cant have enough of these. My final word is get the Shock Mount and you'll be very happy, in fact buy a few of them. SGT Huey Falls USMC Ret.
