As an IT professional with a degree in electronic engineering, I've found that I really enjoy playing around with the Raspberry Pi (RPi) devices - so much so that I've ended up with 6 of them! I've got 3 RPi 3b+ units and 3 RPi Zero W units - friends and colleagues have just given me some when they've seen some of the projects I've used them for. I gave my RPi 3b away to someone, and they replaced it for me with one of the 3b+ units. Since the GPIO pinout for all the units I have is the same, I picked up 2 of these kits (I have a tendency to work on more than 1 project at a time). The cable and T board are really handy for getting the GPIO header to a breadboard for setting up and testing circuits before committing them to a more permanent board. The breadboard seems to be good quality so far, and lets face it: you can never have too many breadboards if you're a tinkerer, like I am. As an electronics engineer, I have lots of parts kicking around, but I was really low on resisters, and most of my jumper wires have ended up lost, shortened to unusability from the ends breaking off, or inside other, more permanent homes. That's why I chose to get this kit - there are plenty of common-sized resisters for use in digital circuits and the jumpers are perfect for breadboard use - they are more stable than regular solid-core wire and fit breadboard holes perfectly. If you don't need a lot of other parts to experiment with, this is a great buy!

Extension and cable is of good quality. Breadboard is similar to all other low cost breadboards but the grip is good.

Got this today. Nice quality breakout board, a gpio connector for the breakout with the ribbon cable. Lots of fly wires and a great assortment of resisters to try to experiment with.

Perfect extension of the GPIO pins onto a breadboard!

How did I ever live without this breakout kit? It makes development of Pi Zero apps way easier. The quality is well done and the lettering on the top of the breakout board is accurate. The little handful of hookup wires are decent quality. Only a few seemed to have slightly shorter pins on them.

Not much to write about there. The kit had a good assortment of wires, the breadboard works as well as any other breadboard I have. The expansion board is good quality and makes things much easier.

Excellent products, needed the expansion board works well.

Great item. Nice price. Fast delivery.

This was a very close match to the parts I needed and saved me money compared to piecing it together from multiple orders. The other kits I looked at had a lot of components I didn't need and they cost a lot more.

Really nice GPIO breakout for the 40pin GPIO Raspberry PIs (all recent models). The breadboard is good quality and a nice size for quick prototyping. I used it to connect an OLED screen over SPI, solid state relays, and also a network of external Arduino Mini's over SPI. The jumper wire is the same basic wire you get in nearly every other kit. Though, the ribbon cable is a nice color-coded touch to ensure that all wires are lined up properly. I read that some people complained about the ribbon cable being keyed incorrectly, but mine is fine. The ribbon cable keys into the break-out board so that it only plugs in one way and the other end of the cable keys so the ribbon cable is towards the outside of the PI, allowing the top of most PI cases to still close.Everything in my kit is perfect and good quality.
