Amazing, but save your money and don't get the lapel mics unless you need them. Also the case is included with the device regardless of where you buy it. Makes great recording but make sure you update the firmware, will help with boot times.

Great sound quality, very well built, lots of functions. I think it might the best in its level.

Well, our church uses this recorder, so for the purpose of learning it for production at church and getting better sound in my vids. I purchased it. and it's working great. Love Love Love it!

Recorded a thunderstorm..picked up the train 3 miles away. Excellent so far and feel lucky for how damn cheap it was.

I've had this for a while now. I use it to interview people for family history and genealogical reasons. It works great.

We bought this to make our YouTube videos sound better. There is a small learning curve tut this took us to the next level. Check out the difference on YouTube @lifewiththefultons

Excellent product; I am very content. I have been borrowing these from friends for years and am excited to own one of my own. Stereo microphone pics up everything and more. If you are just plugging in your mics and aren't getting any sound at first, make sure you turn phantom power on (either 24v or 48v) and they should pick up after that. I admit, I was concerned when I first plugged my cardioid mic and didn't get any signal. After finding phantom power in the RECORD part of the menu, it was crisis averted. Great product overall, and remember... Hit record TWICE! (Learned that the hard way one time back in the day)

Fantastic recorder. I'm still learning the functions, but so far the quality of this device is excellent. I'm using it to put together a podcast series that will include on location interviews. The menu features are very extensive, more than I'll actually use, like auto level, lo cut, multiple recording formats from 44.1kHz/16bit (my choice for podcasting) up to 48kHz/24bit. Provides for overwriting new audio on existing tracks, re-record segments of existing tracks (punch in/out), automatically stop recording, auto record levels, live monitoring of all input signals, and much more. This just touches on the functions, most of which I'll be handling post-production. The built-in mics are excellent and external xlr mics can be attached. Connectors allow instruments and keyboards, mixers, external mics in lieu of the built in mics, provides 24 and 48v phantom power, remote control device (optional) and more. Again, much more than I'll ever use, however, for my purposes this device provides excellent audio capabilities, is very well made, and I just don't see a reason to step up to another device. Also of course, being sold at a great price.

I've been loving the recorder, and the lavalier mics are absolutely amazing! I did some field recording at a loud and busy convention center over the weekend, and the mics did a fantastic job at cutting out most of the noise. The voices came through clearly. Very happy with this purchase!

I love this field recorder, it was very easy to learn and the quality is great. I have used it for foley and as our audio recorder in the field for a few weeks now and I love it. The pre amps on it are acceptable but nothing too big where you can't fix it in post.
