Great fan! This fan can really move a lot of air.. don't stand in front of it, or it will blow you over. It is a little loud, but the breeze is worth it. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I have to tell you something. This is the best fan I’ve ever owned. My daughter got off work last night. She was hungry. I said “want me to make you eggs?” She said “only if you eat too.” I make the eggs for us. I told her to come in my bedroom to eat. Okay. All is good. I put my paper plate of eggs and toast on top of my glass of milk and open the door to my room. Daughter is following behind me. As I open the door, the puppy runs in. I said “honey get her out please” I turn to walk in further. My fan is right there. It blows my paper plate off my glass of milk. In an attempt to catch it, my milk sloshes up out of my glass. The milk gets caught by the strong wind of the fan and blows into my face/eyes. I can’t see! I step on eggs on the floor and spill more milk which gets caught by the wind. I screamed the entire time this was happening. I was blinded by milk. I gave up and just sat on the foot of my bed. Daughter witnesses this entire debacle and died laughing. I, of course, couldn’t SEE her laughing, only hear her. Moral of the story? Buy this fan because it is seriously strong.

This is a great fan for outdoors. It pushes a lot of air for a small fan. We have two of them and blow them at angles from opposite sides of our deck during the spring and summer when the mosquitos are bad. It is amazing how these two small fans not only keep it a bit cooler, but also move the air such that mosquitos can't (or at least have a harder time) landing on us. Great fan for the money. I'm glad we didn't spend more on a bigger fan. These do just fine.

This fan shows up alongside the Lasko 2265QM when you search for 20-inch fans on Amazon. They look fairly similar, so why does this fan cost so much less--$39 vs $62 for the B-air? Having recently bought one of each, here's my observations. Similarities: 1. Dimensions, pivoting ability, weight. They seem similarly constructed initially. 2. Apparent effectiveness in moving air. Both have three speeds, both seem to put out air well. If anything, in a subjective test the B-air seems a bit more powerful. But again, this was subjective... 3. Construction. Both have metal shrouds, metal blades, rubber shock absorbers connecting fan to stand to keep vibration down and grounded three-prong plugs at the end of substantial cords. Differences which might explain the difference in price: 1. The Lasko has a front-mounted speed control. The B-air has its speed control mounted directly on the motor and can only be controlled from the back. 2. The Lasko comes with a substantial wall mounting plate. The B-air says it can be mounted on the wall, but doesn't include a fixture for doing so. It's up to you to find the hardware for hanging the B-air. Also, the Lasko's front-mounted switch makes controlling it when wall-mounted more convenient. 3. The Lasko's motor is enclosed in a plastic shield at the back while the B-air exposes the metal back of its motor. Is a shield better? I don't know. One reviewer complains about hair becoming sucked into the B-air's motor. Perhaps a shield would help with this. Yet a shield is an added expense, and I would think Lasko wouldn't put one over the back of their motor if there weren't some utility in doing so. 4. The Lasko has hinged connectors for mating the two halves of the fan shroud, making it an easy tool-less job to remove the shroud and clean the blades. The B-air has screws attaching the two halves of the shroud over the blade. Conclusion: It's a crap shoot. But the B-air has a surprising number of one-star reviews which claim the fan died within months of purchase--and a number of reviewers also claim that the B-air is a generic fan sold under many names. Take the risk on the B-air and you might be happy you did. If you want to hang your fan from a wall, get the Lasko. Perhaps in a year I will know more about their reliability. Right now it's hard to judge, and the Lasko is a great deal more expensive. I say go with the B-air, but if it breaks I'll be back with an update.

I don't write a lot of reviews but I noticed this fan had a lot of mixed reviews. I personally love this fan. I just received it over the weekend and plugged it in right out of the box. Its much lighter than expected, it moves a ton of air, and I don't think its as noisy as some reviews would lead you to believe. I mean, its moving a ton of air so its going to make some noise, but I think its a great fan for the money. It surpassed my expectations. This thing will put a breeze through your whole house if you open adjacent windows and put the fan at one end!

I ordered 2 of these fans for my Son and Daughter-In-Law. They just recently moved to Colorado and their rental house, does NOT have central air. I didn’t want them and their 2 dogs to be miserable in the high 89 degree temperatures, so I knew they needed fans with maximize wind felocity. They were delivered within a couple of days and my son phoned me, with His overjoyed relief from the heat. He made mention, that even their two fur babies, were enjoying them. As a side note, to a testament to their power...my son said, the fan wind is so strong, that it blew over a stack of folded t-shirts👍👍‼️‼️ I HIGHLY—recommend this product!

This fan is awesome. It's got a lot of power to it so it will definitely keep you cool. It's also great at drawing in air from a window. Only con I can think of is that it is somewhat loud. Not the type of loud that makes your neighbors think "What the hell is that noise?" more of a "What the hell did she say?" as you turn up your TV volume. For pet owners, the grids are small enough so you don't have to worry about paws or tails getting in there. My roommates' cats were initially startled by the fan (noise) but now they sit next to it as they people watch at the window.

Everyone thinks moses used some stick to part the red sea. What they dont know what that he had one of these fans attached to that stick. This fan moves alot of air, if you pick it up while its on max it will take you for a little ride across the room until you put it down if your'e not careful. I ordered this for the garage this summer, and i think its going to perform admirably. I would highly recommend this fan.

This is the single best fan I have ever owned. I have always owned the typical Walmart 20" box fans and assumed that was how fans were. They work fine or so i thought. Case in point this Soleaire fan on low moves more air than a standard 20.00 box fan on high. The Soleaire fan on high...well its just crazy the amount of air. I will never own another typical box fan after having this.

Purchased this about 9 months ago, and it has gotten a LOT of use. Developed a minor issue with a loose blade, so I contacted B-Air. They responded immediately, and shipped out a new fan. Within 5 days of my first contact, I had a replacement fan. Good company, nice fan. If the rivets give me issues out of warranty, I'll drill them all out and replace with machine screws and locknuts. Fan does move a lot of air, and is a bit noisy. But there's few ways to move air quietly, so...there you are.
