This is THE BEST splatter screen ever!

We LOVE this splatter screen! It arrived just in time to use on top of my big pot of simmering spaghetti sauce. Nothing got by it so my stove remained clean. It fit in the bottom side of my dishwasher and came out lookin' great. It's sturdy - well made. We love the little feet that keep it off the counter while checking the sauce. I absolutely recommend this product!

It does the job and does it well

I use the splatter screen when I sear 3 inch thick pork chops. With a very hot cast iron pan and Canola oil, this is quite messy. But the chops are so good, I always did the big cleanup after dinner. So I saw your screen on one of the cooking blogs and decided to give it a try… The 13 inch screen fits the cast iron skillet very well. Always did a lid slanted on top so the chops don’t steam but that even made quite a mess. Now, using the screen knocks out almost all of the splatter. Cooktop cleanup is now a few minutes vs 15 minutes! Yes, these are pretty nice…cook and put the screen in the dishwasher. Thinking smashburgers in the kitchen next.. This is a 5 star product, saves me a lot of cleanup time.

It works!

I got this based on reviews, and also wanting something that would be of better quality than the average WM store brand. I'm pleased I spent the extra. It's a perfect size for both larger and medium-sized pans. The handle does not get hot when the screen is on the pan, and I have not had any seepage/splatter from the edges. There is almost a seal-like appearance around the edge. The screen itself is of high quality and strong; the mesh is tight and doesn't let any grease spray out. Washing is easy, and it's dishwasher safe too. I have cooked different meat, and it made my post-cooking cleanup faster and less annoying. I would definitely recommend this!

Sturdy and well designed!

Definitely the best available. It is sturdier than any others I have used and has features that make it really nice: * No plastic in the handle, so there is nothing to melt accidentally. * The bump features make it safe to set on a countertop. * The metal handle extending across whole body makes it much sturdier than others. It doesn't flex, so the screen shouldn't pull out like has happened to others over time. No cons at all - this looks good and works well.

Stir frying easier now

Stir frying onions/colorful peppers/pork or chicken has been my go-to favorite meal-for-one these last few months. Just add salt, pepper, garlic powder, cayenne pepper to taste. So good. I don't use a lot of oil (a teaspoon or so will do). There is still splatter but the Bellemain Splatter Screen keeps it to a minimum in my 10" fry pan. Clean up is much easier since I got the screen a couple of weeks ago. Also, I like how the little feet let it sit on the counter without me worrying it will burn or make a mess when I remove it quickly from the pan. I eat from a small plate and use the splatter screen to cover the fry pan which is keeping the remaining stir fry warm on the lowest heat until I'm ready for more. Hard to believe this is the first splatter screen I've ever had. No wonder I've never been much interested in cooking! That might change now.

Splatter free!

Loving my new splatter screen! I like to fry up a burger pattie for dinner frequently, quick and easy for one person. I’d almost stopped doing that though because of the mess it made of my stovetop and counter – grease everywhere! I had looked at splatter screens but wasn’t too impressed with what I was seeing. Searching on Amazon I came across the Bellemain and decided to give it a try. This one holds in 99% of the splatters! It works over anything I’m cooking in my pots and pans so nicely and protects the whole area. I even use it for draining off small amounts of pasta or draining off grease from meat. Great purchase – finally!

Stops the Grease splatter

I have been using this splatter screen since it arrived last week and it is GREAT. Finally, I can fry my little salmon burger, or whatever, and not get grease splatter drops on the stainless cook top. Just as the product description says, the mesh is fine enough to stop splattering. I also use the screen when I am cooking artichokes. My recipe calls for partially covering the pan, so I have to balance the pan lid on top. That's easy to do with the splatter screen on first, the pan lid resting on the screen. I haven't made any chicken stock since I got the screen, but it will come in handy the same way: to balance the lid, partially covering the stock pan.

Far surpasses discount store models

I purchased a 2 pack of screens at the largest discount retail store. It worked fine for 3 weeks of morning sausage... then the screen started separating from the holder. (even though I was very gentle in cleaning the splatter shield). One more week and the screen was completely off. Bellemain's 13" screen however has a much more secure connection between the mesh and the outer ring. Even the heft of this kitchen tool portends long life. Cleanup (either hand or machine wash) is a breeze as there are no nooks or crannies to hide grease. This splatter shield allows me to cook sausage every morning and clean my stove top only twice a month. The use of the shield does not effect the crispness, browning or taste of the sausage(or bacon) as the splatter is stopped but the steam is vented.

A better product than any other I've tried. Recommend it.

A solid, heavy duty item. I was surprised at how heavy it was and how close the screen openings were to prevent splatter. This is a definite need for any kitchen. I have purchased many many lesser types and this is the one for me from now on. You will not be disappointed with this great product. I definitely would buy another; it does the job. Washes up very well by hand or dishwasher. May just get another to have on hand. I highly recommend this product. It is as described, came on time in perfect shape and has held up well through all the times I've used it.

Before having this, I was previously using a splatter guard from the dollar store. There is a world of difference when using this one instead, and I believe it is worth every single penny.
