works great! I'm punching through about 2 -5 layers of 3mm thick soft, pliable leather. I think it's been about a year since I got them, and have had no issue with them.

If you have a saddle stitching job to do, these are the cat' pajamas's. The spacing is great for a nice almost sewing machine look. It sure beats a drive punch or even a double aught hand punch. Good quality, sure beats Craftool. If you want to make a bunch of holes, these will do it for you, well you need to line them up but they do the hard part.

Well made tool for the buck

This is my first time doing leather craft ,so I can't compare them to other types of tools , but for the price these tools seem to be well made , Sharp and work well for me , delivered one day early and well packaged ,they do have machine oil on them , no big deal ,wash in a little warm water... good to go 5 🌟

These hole punches are wonderful. They are so much more accurate and way more efficient than an awl. I used them so much with our scout troop that I eventually broke the single and the double while driving them too far. (operator problem, not the tools) We have been working with some extremely thick leather scraps which have made some really nice wallets. These chisels are well worth the money.
