Definitely happy with how this has performed in my particular application.

Provides great protection for my DSLR lenses. I bought this to slip into a backpack for when I am shooting in the field using multiple DSLR lenses. Because this is inside of a regular (non-descript) backpack - it doesn't call attention to the fact that the backpack is carrying thousands of dollars-worth of glass. I have it inside an 'El-Cheapo' discount store backpack that nobody would want to steal. It protects the lenses from dings and dirt and damage from all angles. I don't have to worry when setting the backpack down hard, or bumping it against something while I hike - the padding is more than sufficient. It is small enough that I actually end up with a bit of extra room in the backpack for carrying my jacket (or lunch). Definitely happy with how this has performed in my particular application.

Plenty of space and a perfect fit - saved me from having to by a second backpack just for camera equipment

They make backpacks specifically designed for cameras, but I already had a backpack for my laptop and didn't want to buy a second one. I measured my backpack to make sure this would fit and it was the perfect size. It saved me from having to buy a second backpack. It is waterproof. I got caught out in the rain and my backpack got soaked but my camera equipment was protected. There is plenty of room. Right now I have it stuffed with my Canon SL1 Camera Body, an Altura flash, and 6 lenses (I keep the lenses in neoprene cases so they don't rub because there are only three pockets in the insert). I like the fact that the velcro is adjustable so you can make the pockets the size you need. The velcro is a good quality and the case is holding up after months of regular use. This would make a great gift for a photographer who has a lot of equipment and needs a backpack insert.

I'm very happy with it

For the price, it can hardly be beat. I already have a committed camera backpack, but, sometimes it's a bit to big and clunky and I don't really need all my gear, so, I bought this to use in my day-to-day backpack for just my DSLR. It's a little smaller than I anticipated, but, it holds my full-sized Canon with an 18-135mm lens and a small bag I use for spare batteries. It's well padded and it can be used with or without the cover thanks to velcro on it's front and back. The material appears to be waterproof, but, the top doesn't completely seal... No matter as it will be used in an already waterproof pack anyway. It has 2 padded velcro inserts that let you adjust the inside compartments. I don't really need them for my DSLR, but, I do foresee using them when I take out my little point and shoot and it's accessories. I'm guessing this was ultimately designed for smaller mirror-less cameras. It's very well built. Stitching is clean and corners are strong and tight. I've seen similar bags that were very sloppy, but, that's not the case here. Overall, I'm very happy with it. Looking into one that's a little larger for another pack I have. It's nice being able to swap the inserts around without having to buy another bag. It's everything I was looking for and I'm very pleased at the quality.

i Slip this into my backpack and it fits perfect! it fits my Nikon d3400 with the 33-55mm lens on it and my 70-300mm lens. cant fit much more then that but its exactly what i needed.

Cheap, Light, Works great

Purchased this to hold my Fuji X-T20 mirrorless set up and it's perfect. I only have 1 lens but this will easily hold body with lens + 1-2 more lenses in a good padded case. I then insert this into my Tom Bihn Large Cafe Bag and it is a fantastic combo.

This is PERFECT

I love this, it was a lucky find and it blew my expectations out of the water. I love the size and material, seems sturdy and long lasting. I also love that it is large enough to fit my camera with a a 55mm lens attached, charger, 85mm lens, 18mm lens, 50-200mm lens, polarizing lens, and some memory cards. I will say I wouldn’t trust the flap that comes with it to protect against a spill as it is Velcro and not air tight. DEFINITELY PURCHASE!!

Well-made; dense foam padding; nice design touches.

Got this so I could put cameras in and out of a regular messenger bag with some good protection. I like the build quality of this insert. The foam inside the fabric wrapper is nice and dense, closed-cell foam that will absorb shock really well. The fabric is very smooth with low friction when pulling your gear in and out. There are two dividers so you can customize the interior into three sections. There are some thoughtful design touches like some pockets for thin items like filters, cards, etc. on the front of the insert. There is also a lid that velcros onto the back to cover the top, which helps if you want to put something else into your bag on top of this insert. I could fit my whole Canon M6 system in there, lenses in one section, camera in another and flash in another. I carried this three weeks in Europe and it worked out really well.

It's very good as an insert so will not be a camera bag from the outside. Well padded and fits well my Sony a6300 with 35mm prime and 18-105mm lens. Being waterproof is a feature which is great however the Velcro closure is only at the front and not sides so in the event water will find it's way in at the sides. However I find that a stretch unless you are in a soaking rain or swimming situation. Not a big deal as I intend to put it in my waterproof bag anyway so another layer of protection. Update: Went on Spain tour for 2 weeks and since October some days were raining not just drizzle. The insert held up perfectly although the bag it was in was water resistant or waterproof as described. Extremely satisfied with the insert, the size, light weight and versatile.

I have a bag with no padding that i DESPERATELY wanted to keep as my camera bag. this insert fit perfectly. like, i cannot express how snugly this thing slid down in this bag. Cinderella and her impractical garbage slipper have nothing on the glory of this insert in my bag. It was like a girlfriend slipping on the engagement ring for the first time. The moment this insert set down into the bag, and the corners spooned perfectly into the corners of the bag, I realized i had peaked. This insert has truly brought real meaning back into my life. If you're in need of a spiritual awakening, this insert will rock your chakras.

Great insert for your laptop backpack or cary-on suitcase

I want to start carrying my camera to work every day in my laptop backpack and needed something small enough to fit but something that will provide protection for my beloved photo gear. I just got the insert and tried it. IT'S PERFECT! It fits in my medium sized laptop backpack and it's just the right size for my full-size DSLR Nikon D800 and one lens (separately). It looks and feels very nice, like the inside of a quality camera bag. The top flap is a big plus because you can put other stuff on top of the insert. Another use I can see for myself is my carry-on suitcase when I travel for work. I've wasted opportunities before because the pictures I took with my expensive compact just don't cut it quality-wise for what I use them. It has three compartments in the picture but if you have a large DSLR only body (separately and without the extra battery attachment/vertical grip) and a wide angle to mid-telephoto zoom will fit. If you have a smaller DSLR two lenses should fit. I highly recommend it.
