Works well for me

I've had Braun shavers for years and have never had an issue with them. This replacement head renewed my shaver to like-new performance as all the other replacement heads have done. I take care of my equipment so have never had a problem with my shaver or parts failing or falling apart so not sure what some of the other reviewers are talking about.

Great, but mixed feelings

I shave my face sometimes with this razor, but usually use it to shave my head because it does such an amazing job. Maybe, for that reason, I wear them out a bit quicker. It's a lot of money for this, but it does work brilliantly. I seem to be getting a year out of one. Short story? Slight resentment at the price, but I'm going to keep buying these until a better model comes along!

A LOT of complaints but I have none so far.

After reading many and several reviews, I was very skeptical about purchasing a new shave head from Braun. I - like many others - have been using Braun for years. Tried the old Norelco years ago. Felt like it was always pulling my hair instead of cutting it. So anyway... When the latest, greatest came out from Braun, I did a little research then pulled the trigger. Couldn't have been happier. I have had it now for about 4-ish years. This is the first time I'm replacing the shave head. It had grown dull, and even though I use the clean and charge after every single use, it just became apparent it was time to lay the old shave head to rest. However, so many of the reviews have been so negative, I was actually considering giving the latest Norelco a go. Glad I didn't. I have had the new shave head for about 2-ish weeks and so far, so good. I have ZERO complaints. Shave head is firm and crisp, cutting through my difficult beard hairs - that grow in literally every direction - with ease. I know some people are saying that this will crap out and fall apart after about 3-6 months. We'll see. If I have any problems within that time frame, I will be sure to come back and update this review. But for now, it is doing exactly what I needed it to do - give my excellent razer new life.

Lasts only about a year.

This is one of those things that you have to have for an electric shaver, but if you use it every day, it will not last you 18 months like the suggestion tells you. I've had a Series 9 for about 13 months, and my old shaver head already fell apart from the cassette. These are not under any warranty either.

Manufacturer part fits perfect

I am a fan of the Braun series 9 shaver and the quality of the blades is excellent. Great shave. Very fair price on amazon. Other retailers want a lot more for the exact same item. This is the model from the manufacturer.

The best parts for the best razors

Great product. After years of using bargain prices electric razors, making the step to a Braun is a revelation. Smoother, cleaner and just better in all aspects. The replacement cutter head is a small price to pay for keeping my series 9 shaver in tip top shape.

Major improvement on original 9000 series cutter

Bought a 9030 shaver a year ago. Shaver was great for a few months and then became worse until cutter started falling apart. Thought shaver was a fake until I read about the problems others had also experienced. This 9200 series head fits all 9000 series and is really good quality with great performance. I live in the Philippines and found the Amazon price much cheaper than here - even with shipping! Was also confident that the cutter would be an original as supplied from the US. Very pleased with the purchase.

Braun users 10 yrs

As usual i been using Braun shaver series 5, series 7 then series 9. From my experience this cartridge I would highly recommend after 12 months instead of 18. You can't go wrong using Braun products. I would definitely upgrading once they have newer model after series 9.
