Great Beginners And/Or Practice Guitar.

Great Beginners And/Or Practice Guitar. I play a Fender Stratocaster and a Pignose Stratocaster copy, so when I first held this guitar in my hands I did notice how much lighter it was compared to my Fender and Pignose but don't that turn you away! This is actually a pretty good guitar, especially for the price. Granted, I did have to do some initial setup to correct the action and tremolo, which should be done on almost any new guitar. The amp is not that bad...good for its purpose. The strap...is a little...well cheap but remember this guitar is lighter so it does its job but with the low cost you can buy a new strap and strings if you like. Overall, this is a great guitar for a beginner or just want a practice guitar.

I bought this set up for my son who is just getting into playing guitar. The amp is well made, and produces good, clear sound, for a teenager's bedroom. It isn't loud enough to rock the whole neighborhood, and with his door closed at the other end of my modest home, I can turn the TV up and barely hear it. The guitar, straps, and cables are all made of good sturdy quality as well. For a beginner setup, that doesn't cost you your sanity, while someone is trying to learn to play, this is an excellent purchase.

LYX Guitar & Amp

I recommend this guitar for all beginners who need an economic entry level instrument. I did have to raise the bridge settings to perfect the harmonics, and adjust the tremolo (whammy bar) but now it is fine. The guitar performs better and better the more the neck is broken in, so I expect it to be as good as any other guitar once it's broken in. The picks are trash, the cable is mediocre, the straps need improvement, the amp works, the case is good, the wrenches work, the tuner works, the strings are... strings, and the guitar is great!

First AMP was defective but let me say that company was very efficient and professional in replacing. They more than made up for the inconvenience. It a great product!

Great first Electric Guitar!

Bought this for my 11 year old son. He started with an acoustic, but quickly advanced and desired more. This was a great bundle for his first electric guitar. I asked his guitar instructor first prior to buying and he said it was a good deal. He's learned a lot on it in the last couple months!

Money well spent

Purchased as a Christmas gift for my 12 year old. Makes a great beginner instrument. Amplifier is small but works good enough for playing around and practicing at home. Guitar is beautiful, plays good, and could be hooked up to a different amplifier if you needed to. Much nicer than department store varieties. Our son was so excited about it and has quickly learned to play lots of songs. Money well spent.

For price good guitar setup!

Wow was kind of surprised this guitar is decent has a adjustable neck......pickups work well and it plays good too. For the price and what you get it's well worth the price. It's a great at home practice or beginner guitar. I'm pleased with the purchase it plays good amp puts out good plus you get extra strings a great tuner and soft case for guitar. I like it a lot and it suits my needs give it a try it's cheap but well built and plays like a more expensive guitar!
