Parent of an older child with ADHD/sensory issues.
This is a fantastic chew aid. My son is a mild to avid chewer. He is 7 and doesn't go without his pick of chew pendants. He picked the black batman and he loves wearing it to school. His friends think it's cool too. Which really boosts my sons confidence with what he faces. He grinds against it with his teeth or chews on it like a pen cap. The pendant itself was way bigger than I expected, but it was a good surprise. he mostly takes it to school they help him stay focused on task. I recommend this highly. We love it!

Great "cool" chew for older kids
Great chewing pendant! Our son has mild autism with a oral fixation, and we are always looking for chewing necklaces he doesn't find babyish. This one was perfect...he loves it and isn't embarrassed to wear it. He's not an aggressive chewer, so I'm not sure how well it would hold up to constant chewing, but he's had this one for a while, and it's not showing any signs of wear.

Perfect!!!
This is a chewy that's on the softer side. With 3 kids that have Sensory issues chewing things is a way of life. I've purchased many chewies in the past 5 years but they've all been firm or hard so they've never been used. I was very relieved when this arrived soft! No more chewing on blankets, shirts, fingers & straws!!!!!

Always a win with Batman!
This teether turned out to by my daughter's favorite of all of the teethers I have bought. It is easier for her to hold than most, flexible, and soft. There are little nubs or bumps around one the edge on one side, and a ridge on the other to help massage the gums. We have two cats, and normally with silicone there is a problem with animal hair sticking to the object, but we have yet to encounter that with this silicone toy. It is easy to fit one of the baby rings around it and attach it to the seat she is in, or the car seat so it doesn't get lost. Plus, you can't go wrong with the bat symbol!

My son never liked chew tubes and refused all other chew items
12 year old son with Autism was always putting his shirt in his mouth. We tried several therapeutic items and techniques to change this behavior. My son never liked chew tubes and refused all other chew items. He loved this item. It's large enough and thick enough to get him the right sensory input. Plus, it looks cool on a middle schooler; he is not embarrassed to wear to school and always have it ready when he needs it. Have had many moms ask me where I got it. Thanks to Amazon I can always find the best items for my special son.

Perfect mini Game Boy!
This teether is an exact miniature copy of the real thing! I dug out my old, barely functional Game Boy for comparison. At ten bucks, it runs about the same price as other high-end teethers and is totally worth the price for any Nintendo fan who wants to indulge in a little nostalgia for their baby. Functionally, this teether is also great. My older two kids both hated silicone teethers, but maybe they wouldn't have if we'd had this one. I rubbed the bumpy side against my own gums and it felt GOOD, ha! My 3.5 month old absolutely loves it when someone helps her hold it up to her mouth to munch on, forgoing the wooden and plastic teethers her siblings preferred. Her little hands can curl around it, but she doesn't have the coordination to hold it up to her mouth for more than a minute on her own. I expect she'll continue to favor this toy as her teeth start to come in.

Great for my 9yr old
My son has severe AHDH and bites his fingers to nubs, and ruins shirts because he bites the collars. He loves this, it looks "cool" and I'm not forever telling him to stop biting his fingers! The string on it is pretty cheap but the Silicon pendant is really strong and good quality.

Buy This Now!
First of all, these are fun for adults. Whenever people see it they always comment on it. That aside, this is my daughter's favorite teether. We have a few, but I think she likes this one best because it's soft all over. The black probably makes it easy to see, and it's a great size. I bought the gameboy first, and I think she likes being able to get her fingers around the thinner part. She can shake it without dropping it more easily. But wherever I hold both of them up, she always goes for the controller.

Chewed through quickly, but still worth it!
Everyone asking about durability. See the picture. That is after 1 month of near constant use. For background, my son is almost 7,on the spectrum with high anxiety diagnosis. He recently started an oral fixation, eating his shirts (almost literally). After online recommendation, we looked at trying teething pendants such as this. Took us 2 tries to find the right thickness, but Batman won. He uses it... A LOT! Saved his shirt and seems to prefer Batman. I am concerned about him swallowing pueces of it. But not so much that we will stop using them. We already have 2 backups. 1 recommendation: buy replacement necklaces. My son chewed through the clasp quickly, and we found a different style that has worked. Highly recommend!

Love it!
My 4yr old is SPD with ADHD. This makes a good fidget and a good sensory tool when his anxiety runs high at school. He loves that it’s batman. I love that it’s reasonably priced. It has a breakaway closure. That was an appeal to me until I realized he will break that apart and bite down on it but we just tied a knot. It’s sized for moms so it’s easy to get on and off his head. He only uses it at school and it’s curbed his PICA. Highly recommended fo anxiety in children with special needs. I had previously tried bite sticks but he loses them. Also tried infant chews but he said those are for babies. Happy we found something that works well for him and doesn’t make him feel embarrassed
