BLACK color looks more like GRAY
Pros: The canvas and zippers appear to be of good quality. The canvas is thick and the zippers have heavy duty teeth. The zipper pulls & handle reinforcements look like leather. The price is very good for this small bag. Cons: The BLACK color looks more like gray and I think it was made this way for a "faded" look. Would be nice to be able to remove the strap, but it's sewn on and not removable. This might be important to some people and it's hard to see the true color from the pictures. Also, note the cross body strap is BROWN not black. The straps don't match the color of the bags. The straps match the leather zipper pulls & handle reinforcement.

Get this bag!
This bag is perfect! I browsed Amazon for days looking for a canvas messenger style carry on bag that would fit my 9.7" iPad but wouldn't be too big to carry around as a purse on my trip. There were several that seemed like they would work, but I went with this one (even though there was only one review at the time) and I'm so glad I did! My older model iPad with keyboard case fits in the back zipper pocket like a glove, leaving the rest of the bag free to hold a paperback book, wallet, phone, a zipper bag with aspirin, chapstick, etc. and my 3-1-1 bag with my liquids. The style is works fine for a girl or a guy and the green color is exactly what I wanted. The adjustable strap is more than long enough to wear as a cross body bag or can be shortened to hang from your shoulder. The faux leather is pretty nice looking, but I wish the top handle was just plain canvas. Overall this bag turned out to be even better than I expected and the price was excellent. Highly recommend!

Sweet messenger bag
I started a new job and I wanted to replace my old worn out briefcase. I wanted to go with something with a little more style. This messenger bag is a great choice, at a great price. The material is well made with good stitching. I also like the fact that they use a magnetic button instead of Velcro. Another key factor is the quality zippers they use. I really don't know how they can sell it at such a great price. The below items are an example of what I keep in the bag with room to spare. Note pads, calculator, camera, GPS, phone, eyeglass case, wallet, box knife, flashlight, USB cables, pens and keys. This is a quality bag and I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Don't worry guys - it doesn't look like a purse
So I'm heading to Europe on a vacation and the travel firm told me that I need a small piece of hand luggage. I have several, but all are too large according to their instructions. I purchased this, wondering if it would look a little too much like a purse. Men don't carry purses... European CarryAlls, maybe, but not purses. This bag does NOT look like a purse. It is small, but it has tons of pockets and plenty of room for most of the junk I need to carry - binocs, phone charger, maps, Kindle or Tablet. Field notes, pencil, small MP3 player. It appears to be well made with tough stitching and secure corners. I got the green one, but was torn between it and the denim blue one... glad I got the green.

Nice "Man Purse" - Well Made
This is an excellent bag. It is made of heavy duty cotton canvas. Quite rugged. I bought the black color which appears as dark charcoal. No problem for me. Zipper pulls are double thickness leather. There are a lot of zippered compartments. Nice zippers. I cut the shoulder strap off of mine since I don't need it. I carry it by the handle on top. Mine is used to carry items I use for volunteer church security work when leaving the building. The main compartment handles medium sized firearms with a holster and more. Other sections hold other items. This was a good purchase.

Just what I was looking for to take to church!
Very nice quality and well-made! This small to average size handbag holds A LOT! I was looking for a sturdy, masculine, well made Bible Cover to take to church to hold my Bible, my journal, my pens, phone, car keys, checkbook, etc. or even my iPad if needed. Not being satisfied with products I found specifically made for Bibles, I discovered this. The canvas strap is thick and very strong and can transition from a handle to a shoulder strap quickly, or I just use the leather handle. There are so many compartments that sometimes I have to think where I put things. The zippers all work well and seem to be sturdy and the magnetic snap on the cover flap works well. It was well worth the money because it appears to be something that will last for years and years! Though I got it primarily for taking to church, I will use it on trips for the things I want to keep with me, especially as carry-on if flying, for my reading material, snacks or electronic devices.

Nicely made. Good size.
Hubby loves it. This bag means he doesn't have to put all his stuff in the pockets of his cargo shorts anymore, so he no longer looks like Torgo from the movie "Manos, Hands of Fate". He also doesn't ask me to hold all of his crap anymore, so that's another plus. Because it's a slightly smaller size than a traditional messenger bag, he was worried about the man-bag (Murse?) issue for a nanosecond, but he's over it. It's too damn handy to worry about that nonsense. Nice long strap, but wish it was a bit longer, as it's a tad short for him, but he's really tall (about 6'6"), so that probably won't be a problem for everyone. Fits his wallet, sunglasses case, Kleenex, phone, earbuds, 2 sets of keys and still has room for a small bottle of water and more. I don't think an ipad would fit unless it's a mini, but maybe I'm wrong- you'd be wise to check the measurements if that's a deal breaker for you. Could easily fit most Kindles. Beautifully made, with quality, thick fabric and good zippers. No stray threads or dodgy seams. Has a nice, slightly worn-in look, so you don't look fresh out of the box.

Over-delivers on practicality, finish and looks at a humble price point.
If you look, there are several ipad bags similar to this one, all in the $20 to $26 price range. This one was advertised for $20, but with $6 S&H. I was drawn to it for the magnetic closure on the front flap, and for the nice chocolate brown color of the zipper pulls. Though it offers 5 colors, I chose black which, as can be seen in the close-up views, is actually a nice charcoal gray. The canvas material has a lot of texture and a very slight acid wash finish which I like. The canvas handle strap and shoulder strap are both chocolate brown and complement the zipper pulls well. Pocket distribution inside and outside is excellent. My ipad air is in a Thule Atmos case, slim but quite rugged, and it fits in the back compartment inside a padded sleeve for extra protection. The back compartment also holds a plastic folder in which I keep letter size pages folded in half, about 1/2 inch thick. The main compartment holds two medium or one Bible sized books, with two good internal pockets for ipad chargers, cables, etc. The front pocket is also generous and can handle a small Kindle or mini ipad. All inside pockets are nylon lined (dark brown, unfortunately) except for the back portion of the front pocket. The side pockets are too narrow for a cell phone in a decently protective case, but are great for pens and highlighters. Two zipper pockets on the front flap and the back will only hold narrow items like folded plastic bags (the bag is not waterproof) or a cell phone. There is also a zipper pocket on the inside of the back flap, again only for thin items. The magnetic closure for the front flap delivers a good combination of sufficient sticking power with ease of use. Fit and finish, while very good, are not up to the rugged pro level of, say, a Think Tank photo or laptop bag. But hey, those are at a three times higher price point. This bag gave me a first impression of being too small. But that was followed by a pleasant surprise. It turns out that I had gotten used to larger bags to carry around all my stuff, while this bag, thanks to its excellent design, handles everything in a noticeably smaller package. So instead of the weakness of being too small, this bag has the virtue of outstanding compact efficiency. Five stars for over-delivering on practicality, finish and looks at a much appreciated humble price point.

A great, sturdy iPad bag!
This bag is fantastic! It's solidly made and just the perfect size for my 10.5" iPad Pro, which fits snugly in the back pocket even though it's in a large-ish smart case with pencil holder. The strap is wide and very strong, and I love all the separate pockets and pouches. The coarse canvas material is also very good for attaching buttons and pins, but it also "heals" well with little to no visible holes once they're removed. All in all, I love it!

Just the Right Bag
Purchased this for my husband to replace a similar bag which he'd used for nearly 20 years - this fits the ticket; sturdy with many pockets - a place for everything and everything in its place. Like so well I'm ordering another for myself - I've downsized as much as possible with purses because of two shoulder surgeries and not wanting to carry a purse that weights two pounds to start with and 5 pounds by the time I get everything and more than I really need into it. Glad to have found this bag and recommend highly.
