Much Better Than Expected!
This mesh bumper is way better than I expected. I feel like the picture doesn't do it justice. We ordered this for our 4 month old son who has gotten very active while sleeping and for the past few weeks has been waking in the night upset with hands, feet, even his face in the crib slats. When I pulled this from the packaging, I expected a thin barrier to simply block him from getting stuck. But this also has a nice, soft layer of padding much thicker than I would have guessed from the picture. I thought a mesh bumper would look unattractive with his crib bedding, but it's actually pretty cute. Our sheets, bed skirt, and crib are all from Pottery Barn and I actually love how this all looks together. My son is now sleeping better at night and doesn't wake up with red marks on his head or lodged awkwardly in the slats. He looks so cozy in there too. Just love this product!

Worth the purchase
Very happy I made this purchase. After constantly hearing battling information on whether to put a crib liner in baby's crib I decided to go with this mesh one and glad I did, he has moved himself into the edge at 6 weeks and I'm certain his little legs would have been hanging through the crib slats by now, he's a mover, and I don't have to worry if his face gets too near it to suffocate himself. Truly worth the purchase, forgo the cutesy quilted things that come with some crib sets, this is by far the safer product and they don't care about cutesy, at this stage they can't see it anyway. :-)

Safest “bumper” out there!
I panicked one night when our newborn son had his foot stuck in between the crib slats. After a lot of research, this seemed like the safest product. It took 10 minutes max to tie it on. He’s 6 months now and rolls around. This product is breathable if he gets his face against it and it protects his little arms and legs from getting stuck again.

Peace of Mind Factor
We originally had a bumper that was purchased with the crib from a national retailer. After reading countless warnings regarding about how bad bumpers can be., immediately purchased this mesh liner. Let me first go into how easy it is to install. Lines up perfectly and the ties have enough fabric to tie. I can’t express how important that is. We will feel better knowing he has this mesh liner than a bulky cutesy bumper.

Great compromise between no bumpers rule and keeping limbs inside the crib safely
With all the new rules about no bumpers no blankets nothing in the cribs it’s so hard to make sure you’re doing everything right for the little ones. My son kept putting his arms and legs thru the posts of the crib and then he would move or roll and I thought for sure it was a matter of time before he got hurt. I’m a firm believer in following the drs guidance in no bumpers so I felt like this was a perfect compromise for my son. He’s too active and curious even when he was just 5 months that I knew we had to do something. This is mesh and I weaved it in and out of every post so it’s tight enough that he can’t pull on it and get caught and it was just enough to stop him from sticking his limbs thru.

Great Product!
I needed a bumper for my daughters crib as she's at the stage where she moves all around, and loves to kick her feet off the rails when she gets close enough in her sleep. I was afraid of her little feet getting caught in between the rails, and didn't want to use a traditional bumper as you hear so many horror stories of infants smothering. However, I've also heard of horror stories from people I actually know who didn't use a bumper. So when my child was ready for her crib, I immediately went out in search of a breathable liner, which is when I found this one. And I am so happy with it! The color was spot on, it looks adorable, but better than all of that is that it truly works, and helps my peace of mind! I have a crib that has rails on three sides, and I didn't even have to read the directions. In putting on the front piece, I used the Velcro around the second slat on the side rail to the left, entwined the liner around the first slat next to the one I used the Velcro on, and then twined it through the opening between the first and second slat on the front, ran it along on the front, twined it again when I came to the corner just as I did in the beginning and used the Velcro to latch it on to the second slat on the right side. For the back I used the Velcro on the first slat, twined it around the second which already has Velcro on it, and when I got to the back of the side rail twined it back out and around the back of the solid wood. I twined it back through and used the Velcro just as I did on the left side. I tied the bows on the front that was it! It's tight, secure, and hasn't fallen down at all even with my four month old kicking it. I also put the liner down a bit more to fully cover the top of the mattress, so she couldn't stick a foot beneath it either. Again, this has been a great purchase, and her crib is in our room currently, and I like the fact that I can still see through the mesh on the liner to see her, and that it also provides protection from her getting her hands or feet stuck on the rails. I'll update when she's older and can move around more, but for right now this is perfect!

Good, for a short time
I really liked this for the short time that I was able to use it. Babies just grow so quickly though! :) Before my baby was born, I did not think much about baby bumpers. I thought they were kinda ugly and knew they were not recommended for safe sleep. However, when my baby was about 4-5 months old, she started rolling around and getting her legs and arms stuck. This woke her up, which usually meant that I was woken up by screaming. She never really hurt herself but I'd heard it was possible to get hurt so I looked into solutions. I came across this breathable bumper. I liked that it was white, as it matched our decor and I knew I could easily pass it on or reuse for another baby. It was easy to thread through our crib (although I ended up redoing it for look purposes). Immediately, our middle of the night "stuck baby" issues was over! This is not recommended for use after standing/ walking though so I took it down when baby was 10 months old. Plus, she is easily able to get unstuck on her own. I've since passed this on to a friend who is using it. If you can, try to get this kind of product from a friend or consignment sale. If you don't think ahead though, I didn't find Amazon prices to be any worse than local stores. I decided to go with Amazon after seeing only pink or blue options available in the store. I think I ended up a couple of bucks ahead though!

Perfect for cribs
My granddaughter needed to be transitioned from her pack and play to her regular crib, with something to prevent her from getting arms and legs stuck between the slats. My daughter did not have crib bumpers because of suffocation danger. The baby loved to scoot into the corner and sleep up against the mesh. This product was perfect for her crib, easy to install, and is breathable, so safe for baby. The only drawback is that they cannot see through the mesh to check on baby via the nanny cam. They will have to install a higher shelf so they can have good visibility. This is a doable option.

Got it to work on crib with changing table attached
Description and other reviewers have said this does not work on cribs that have a solid side or changing table attached but I got mine to work without any issues. I didn’t fully wrap the pieces on the crib like the description said, but I just took the extra fabric not needed and wrapped it back around the slats the other way until it was tight. It only leaves the space open at the very end where the changing table connects, but he is rarely down that far in the crib anyway. This at least covers where he has been getting hands and legs stuck. Worked out fine for us.

The bumper
I love this baby bumper. I really wanted a bumper for my daughters crib, but was worried about the possibility of her sleeping next to it and not being able to breathe. So the obvious choice for me was this breathable bumper. I am so glad I purchased it. It adds the design appeal I was looking to add to her crib (less jail like). It also does the job of keeping hands, feet, limbs, loveys from hanging out/falling out of the crib between the slats. I also feel a little better about my wild child being in there and accidentally bumping her head with all the acrobatics she likes to do. It is easy to wash, and can wash warm with other items, so its easy to throw in from time to time and whenever she's gotten over an illness to get it nice and clean for her again. It is also simple to put on the crib. The first time I had to look at the enclosed instructions, but after that its easy to remember and put on everytime. It really only takes a few minutes. It would be easier not to have a bumper, if you don't want to be taking it off and putting it back on overtime the sheets need changing, but I don't mind. Overall, I like this bumper, and am really glad I bought it. Looks great, functions as I want it to, and my baby is safe.
