I can say that it looks killer on my Ram and it rocks!

Glad I didn't let the negative reviews prevented me from getting this! Almost passed on this due to numerous negative reviews about the loss of reception. Even though I don't listen to the local stations, Sirrus XM user, when I was testing the antenna by listening to some local stations for a week, no reception issues whatsoever. I can say that it looks killer on my Ram and it rocks!

Looks great.

Bought the 13" All Terrain antennae. Great look, '17 Ram 2500. Much better in my eye than the smaller ones and much better looking than OEM. The only complaint is the bottom diameter is larger than the truck antennae base by maybe 1/64th a side. Not bad, just not perfect. Can't notice unless you installed it. I might use some green loctite also. No issues with reception either.

Really good reception in a tiny package

I rarely write reviews. I bought these antenna merely for cosmetic purposes (much shorter, almost invisible compared to the OEM metal antenna). I was definitely not expecting how much better the normal radio sounds in terms of clarity and reception. I rarely listened to the radio because of how poor the reception was, but now I'll definitely be listening to FM when I need a change of pace from my music collection via Bluetooth streaming. Get this antenna. Whether it be for cosmetic purposes or reception, this baby has it all!

So far it's great

I got the 13in antenna for my 17' Ram which is way better than the 31in stock antenna. It comes with like 8 adapters so you just need to find the right one for your vehicle. Out of the 12 local FM stations I had saved I only lost reception to 1 and it wasn't a major station I listen to. All the others still sound just fine. No change in Sirius stations cause they use a different antenna. I've taken it through one car wash so far. It bent all kinds of directions but didn't break off and went back to a straight upright position after.

Excellent OEM Upgrade or Replacement

15" spring steel w/ wire wrap for noise cancellation. Black coating, no thin areas. Made in USA. Installed on 2017 RAM Laramie. Direct mount w/ stainless threading, no spacers needed. Small drop of thread locker added for extra security. Why 15" instead of 6"? Basically function over form. Initially I tried a rubber 6" antenna and a aluminum 6" version. Both had range issues over 20 miles with a regular broadcast and difficulties with HD signals over 40 miles. The little antennas are quite noticeable as they are very unique and scream "pull on me!" I travel 100 miles from home daily. Major city centers are located 60 miles north and 70 miles southwest. My home has 2 stations with no HD. The 15" antenna picks up HD broadcasts from both city centers just a good as the OEM antenna. There is no whipping or bending at highway speeds. All-in-all, this is a very capable antenna that blends in with any exterior, receives standard and HD broadcasts as well as the OEM antenna.

HD FM still crystal clear!!!!

So this antenna just came in yesterday. I easily installed it on my 2018 Ram 1500 Rebel. Being that mine is the Blacked out edition, a long, bright silver radio antenna just didn’t seem to fit the whole scheme of the truck. If you have a Rebel, make sure you use the little rubber spacer that comes with the antenna, or you may have a slight gap. I installed it in seconds after the silver one was removed. It went on without the need for any pliars. Since I have HD FM radio with Alpine system, I was concerned that it would be constantly buffering. No so! I was able to listen to all of my regular HD stations crystal clear the same as with the stock antenna. Well done!!!

Sleek, decent reception

Though obviously not as good as the original antenna, this does get pretty decent reception on the FM band. I got it more for looks since I stream my music. As you can see from the picture, it almost disappears, which is what I was after. The factory one really stuck out, especially on an all black truck since it was silver. Very happy with how this looks. I had purchased a cheaper, shorter antenna before this one, and the threads on the stud weren't long enough to fully install on the truck. This one was identical to factory threads.

Best Antenna I purchased

I bought cheaper short antenna's in the past and they lacked range. Even within my city, I was not getting the reception that I would get with my stock antenna. I even tried buying a longer 13 inch version and that was not any better. You do seriously get what you pay for!! However, based on the reviews I went ahead and purchased this antenna and it what a difference it is when compared to the other cheaper versions I bought. There is no static at all and even works really with the AM stations. I am so glad that I purchased this one and now can go through the car wash without having to take off my stock antenna.

Surprisingly good!!

I live in a suburb of Houston and read a bunch of reviews on stub antennas for my ram 1500. I was a little hesitant because of all the people saying the reception is bad on these smaller antennas. After picking the one that says "the best reception" I got it home and screwed it on. I went threw my FM stations and they were all good. My AM stations was what I was worried about since I like to listen to sports talk radio. They all came in great!! Wow! Now I can go through the car wash without pulling off my antenna.

Good reception and it is flexible enough to go through ...

Ordered the 6.75 inch black model. Good reception and it is flexible enough to go through the drive-thru car wash without removing. Very happy with this purchase.
