- Important Note: 1. We don't recommend to use the 3.5mm port and RCA port on this adapter simultaneously, because one of the output device’s volume may decrease. 2. Pls kindly note this adapter supports Stereo Sound, NOT surround sound. 3. It do NOT support PS3. 4. This sound adapter can NOT be used to connect TV directly.
- This USB external sound card adds a Mono microphone-in, a 3.5mm audio-out and 2RCA left and right audio-out ports to your computer through a USB port, which enables you to connect your existing headphones, headset, speakers, or microphone with 3.5mm jack to your PC through a USB interface. Compared with other usb sound cards in market, it offers you 2 options for audio output, 3.5mm aux and 2RCA, which makes it compatible with more external speakers.(NOTE: RCA is for audio output NOT for input)
- Additional USB stereo audio adapter: It is perfect to bypass a faulty sound card, audio port, or as a replacement for a broken USB audio adapter. Superb Sound Quality: USB External Stereo Sound Adapter adopted Advanced C-Media IC technology for optimal sound quality and device performance. It is constructed of durable ABS housing and with ultra compact design.
- Easy to set up: no driver required, just plug and play! USB bus-powered, no external power required. The attached 1m/3ft cable reduces stress on the USB port and won't block the adjacent ports on your computer.
- Compatible with PS4 and any standard USB Audio Class enabled system including Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP, Mac OS X, Linux and Google Chromebook, Windows Surface 3 pro, Raspberry Pi etc.

Perfect for damaged sound cards
Works flawlessly for bypassing a damaged sound card! Not quite what I was looking for, but that's not the fault of the product in any shape way or form, and is simply my own mistake. I did test it out thoroughly to ensure it'd get around my broken sound card issue and it did, so I'd definitely recommend it.

High performance
External sound cards continue to improve. This model uses the newer C-Media CM6533 chip. The specs say it will record only a mono microphone signal, but I found that it appears to actually record in stereo, using a TRS stereo signal (omitting the bias voltage for electret microphones): T=tip=left channel; R=ring=right channel; S=sleeve=common ground. Update: contacting UGREEN Tech Support, they explained that the signal only appears to be stereo, but the same signal is being shared between the left and right channels.

Works as intended.
I purchased this to plug my condenser mic and my headphone amp into. The thing can't provide phantom power of any kind, though with Neewer's phantom power adapter it produced very clean audio from its ADC. Its DAC is clean enough, but for whatever reason I got popping out of my RCA jacks into my Bravo Audio V3 headphone amp. To be entirely honest I'm not strictly certain if was the DAC or the Amp. I am leaning towards DAC, and so I returned it and replaced it with a 40$ behringer model. Which now works, though that may also be because I've figured out how to shield it from my cellphone better. I would however kill for a better understanding of whether the 3.5mm/RCA jacks are line level, because to be honest I don't have a great enough understanding of the subject to know if I'm stacking the things (nonexistant?) internal amplifier with my more expensive tube amp. My ASSUMPTION was that the RCA jacks are line level, while the 3.5mm jack has some basic amplification. In terms of alternatives, I would make a note that there are passive cables that do a certain portion of this thing's job. https://www.amazon.com/Kingtop-Adapter-Tablet-Headsets-Version/dp/B01I3A47I4/ And the Behringer has a far superior DAC, in my opinion, and is far more configurable for a little over twice the price. If you want to try to drive proper headphones it's a better option. https://www.amazon.com/BEHRINGER-Audio-Interface-1-Channel-UM2/dp/B00EK1OTZC/ Overall if I need another, I would buy another. I was happy enough with it when I had it, even though I couldn't use the RCA Jacks for an output consistently. Hence the five stars despite returning it.

Well worth the money!
Had a failed sound card in an old PC. Rather than trying to locate, buy and install a sound card that would work in this dinosaur PC, I was considering buying a new PC (yeah I know, looking for a reason). Saw this device, purchased it, plugged it into a USB port, rebooted the PC - it works as if it were part of the original system design. (Guess I'll have to wait for a better reason to replace this PC.)

Works surprisingly well, especially for the price.
Likes: Easy to use, just plug into PC, then set up the PC bit and sampling rate, and you're set to go. I tried it with both a PC and my Samsung Galaxy S9, both worked really well. I connected it to a Tube Preamp and to an amplifier to my Elac Debut 2.0 6.2s and it sounded surprisingly well. This is a very good, cheap option for a DAC. Dislikes: Doesn't have its own power source, so it drains your phone, but if using it with PC, no real issues. Didn't try the headphone input, so can't say much about that.

not just awesome, OMG awesome
I have a pretty decent stock sound card, but it's starting to age. I was getting occasional distortion, which bothered me. For the price, I decided to give this a shot. OMG! Perhaps it's my imagination, but I feel like I can hear a guitarist's fingers moving on strings. Sound quality is incredible. And I've noticed no difference in the performance of my CPU or RAM. Highly recommended. (If you care: I'm using a 3.5 mm jack, not the RCA ports)

This worked great for me
This worked great for me. I have an Acer all-in-one PC (Windows 10) without any kind of real soundcard output (just a simple headphone jack). I bought some powered speakers and have used this UGREEN device to connect the PC to the speaker's RCA inputs. It worked without any drivers and only took Win10 about 10 secoonds to configure when I first plugged it into the USB port. All sounds come thru the UGREEN device, including system sounds - it essentially replaces your PC's built-in sound device. It shows up as another sound device when you plug it into the USB port. So it is very much like an older PC I used to have that had a real soundcard and an RCA output on the back of the computer. This is exactly what I wanted. Like any USB device, when you want to use it, just plug it in; when you don't, unplug it and the PC's built-in speakers take over. On the minor downside, the powered speakers I have allow for a bluetooth connection, and the bluetooth connection works better than the UGREEN output. Using bluetooth, the system sounds still come thru my PC's speakers, but the playback of MP3 files comes thru the powered speakers. In other words, the bluetooth device in the PC is able to split the system sounds from the playback music sounds and route them to the appropriate device. So if you have bluetooth connectivity with your PC and some external speakers, it might be better than using a device like the UGREEN to feed sound to the powered speakers. But otherwise, the UGREEN is dynamite and the price is right too!

Wow this is beautiful quality
This product is so nice somebody really did a good job the sound is outstanding from what I can tell with my ears I have no technical specs in coming up with my answers its ease-of-use is simplicity in itself very user-friendly it just works if you need headphones it works if you want to type it through your surround sound system or whatever sound system you have it works I'm really happy with this I wish I could give it more than five stars I would definitely buy again and suggest this for others to thanks

Great improvement over built-in laptop audio for doing live sound.
This is a great sound source for doing live sound. It greatly reduces noise caused by ground loops and RF interferance. Easy to install (no drivers required at least usin Win7&X). Reasonable power output with very little hiss (no percevable hiss unless wearing headphones and then it is barely perceivable)... Increadable value... I’m sure there are better but not at a >$20 price point.

Best deal
I'm pretty happy with this, works without effort with all android phone/tabs I've tried. Bought it for an Android x86 I made for thw car from a Samsung win10 all in one, havent gotten it to work, but through no fault of the device, every x86 ISO just shuts down when attemlting to change the USB configuration, oh well. But the dac is great, souns quality is sub par compared to my LG V20 3.5mm, but it's way better than most devices on board sound.
