If you are impatient like me and you do not want to go buy ...
I used this product for Troy-Bilt 725EX My reason for buying this one was because I could not find the original carburetor for my lawn more so. Even tho their carburetor was not meant for my lawn mower I was able to modify it by not tightening the bolts too much and putting plastic washers around the bolts , use a little plumbers tape . If you tighten the carburetor bolts too much most likely you will break the bolts . If you are impatient like me and you do not want to go buy smaller size Bolts just use Plumber’s tape around the bolts and do not tighten it too much.

Perfect match for a Troy-Bilt 675 Series. Simple install, Started on First Pull and runs perfect.
Save yourself some time and spend the $10 instead of rebuilding. Your gaskets are probably old and also need to be replaced so rebuilding is still going to cost you $10 yet with this you get the Carb and Gaskets.. I spent and hour + rebuilding my old carb including an Ultrasonic Cleaning and cleaning the Jets but mine was still lean surging and wouldn't run until hot. This carb was a perfect match and regardless of other reviews, all the bolt holes were perfect. Simple 3 minute install, starts on first pull now with so much more power.

Easy to install, fixes surging idle problem on Briggs on Craftsman 6.75 HP 11 YO mower
Easy replacement - fix on 11 year old Craftsman mower 6.75 HP B&S Self-priming mower that had to deal with Ethanol mixed 87 Octane gas and stale gas every Spring for first tank even with StaBil in the tank. Started one day and had hunting and Surging problem on idle run. I tried all fresh 87 gas, Air filter was OK. All online troubleshooting sites and articles\ videos pointed to carb clogged jets or torn garb gasket. For the price and direct fit, so no doubt that the choice here was well worth the price of not having to take into a repair shop for $40 an hour to so same thing and wasting time . Thanks.....and good luck.....

Fixed my dead lawnmower!
After much troubleshooting with my push lawnmower (cleaning the old carburetor, new air filter, new spark plug, new rubber gaskets) and no success, I decided to just get a new carburetor. For $12 how can you go wrong. When I received the new carburetor, I was a little skeptical at first. Some of the other reviews I read were true in that this carburetor is made from a different metal (made in China), it uses slightly different sized bolts, and that it’s not an exact match to my original Briggs and Stratton carburetor - same overall design just a few minor differences. Long story short, I installed this carburetor, added fresh gas, and with one pull the mower started! I was stunned. I didn’t think it would solve the problem but I was wrong. I hope this one lasts. A couple reviews I read said that it died within a couple months of installation. I’ll keep my fingers crossed and hope this doesn’t happen with mine. Hope this helps.

This worked well, perfect fit
So, after my JD JS35 started sputtering and starting more and more difficult, i thought i needed to replace the carb on the mower. I came across this no-name brand, ordered it, and after a couple of days, removed the old one and installed this new one. Turns out that the mower's key, a small piece of aluminum was sheared off, thus messing up the ignition cycle of the mower. The old carb was perfectly clean (use premium fuel as often as possible! avoid the ethanol in your gas whenever possible). With the key replaced, the flywheel aligned again, and the mower starts up within half a pull. So that tells me that the new carb is installed correctly, and works correctly. Couldn't be happier.

it runs like it did the day I bought it
My mower was dead for 3 years. 3 freaking years of occasionally dragging it out and spraying starter fluid into the carburetor and having it run for 5 seconds and die. And wearing my arm out pulling that starter rope 500 times before giving up. Finally I broke down and decided to rebuild the carburetor. It was a gummed up mess. I got it all clean though and was sure this was the problem and looked forward to having my push mower running again to do trim work. Anyway, I priced out the carb rebuild kit and even just the gaskets, needle valve and seat. All cost 3 times more than buying this $12 carburetor with free shipping. For $12 and exactly 12 minutes of my time, the new carburetor was installed. I put fresh Pure Gas (no ethanol) and it started (I kid you not) on the very first pull. After 3 years, it runs like it did the day I bought it. Think no more... Buy this and save yourself hours on rebuilding a carb time, and love the way you mower runs again. Word of caution... Since you have a new carb, do flush out the gas tank and the small fuel line. It is likely going to have the same contaminants that gummed up your old carb. And replace the air filter while your at it.

Dude, it's an $11 carb. Dave would be proud.
No, it's not OEM. It is cast kinda wonky on the right side, where it attaches to the air filter box. But it is aluminium. Before you mount it to the engine, put on your adult pants and run your bolt through till it bottoms out. Yeah, you'll cut some new threads into the body. Not enough to damage anything, just enough to feel accomplishment because you just showed mother nature you are stronger than one of her elements. TAKE THAT MOTHER NATURE! I have a Troy-Bilt 12A-A25U711 self propelled. Bought it used on craigslist, cause Dave Ramsey. Worked great for 2 years. It stopped 1/4 through mowing my front yard, which is about 1/4 acre. It looked so bad, my neighbor called my wife to see if I was okay. If I had an HOA, they would have fined me. I'm sure the people in my neighborhood who are selling their houses are pretty upset with me right now... you get the idea. Ordered this $11 carb Monday, after tearing the mover & old carb apart about 6 times. Having trouble with your small engine? If it's nothing obvious, like no fuel, or clogged air filter, it's probably the carb. Received it Wednesday and installed this this little gem. It fired right up first pull... after I remembered to reconnect the spark plug. Dude, it's an $11 carburetor that will potentially save you hundreds by keeping you out of the repair shop, or even worse, buying a new mower. I can't speak for Dave Ramsey, but if I could, I imagine Dave would say something like: "Hi, this is Dave Ramsey. I approve of this purchase. Tyler is a genius and totally the coolest guy ever. Why, you ask. Because, dude, it's an $11 carburetor that has the potential to save you hundreds. And you just might learn something about small engine repair along the way."

UPDATE: Amazing customers service. Carburetor working great!
Update 3: The company is amazing at customer service. They replaced the defective carburetor and the new one has no issues. While I had to replace it again I’m giving them 5 stars again for amazing service. Thank you! ********************************************** Below was my first review and this is an update: This carb ran fine the first few times I started it on the first try but trying to restart it after stopping was impossible. This went on for awhile and I gave it time to rule out gas issues and other problem solving. Bottom line is it just will not start after it runs the first time and I am NOT happy with product. It's faulty. I will try contacting the company next to post an update...….. ********************************************************************* I put this in a Snapper mower that from the very beginning never started easy. Wouldn’t you know it it now starts on first try with ease. It starts at the slightest tug on cord. Almost as good as an electric start! It fits exact with one minor issue that the choke bolt is a little small but a replacement screw on top is an easy fix. If you don’t run clear gas these days the stock carburetors just crap out fast. But this is an easy fix. We’ll see how well this one does over time but at the moment it’s golden! It is an awesome part at a great price and I would buy again anytime! Very happy with this product!!!!!!!!!!

Bolted on and mower started on first pull
Like so many others here, I left gas in my mower over the winter and could not get it to start This carb is a direct bolt on for my Craftsman push mower (6.75 hp), it installed easily and the mower started on first pull. An easy and affordable solution that is far preferable to cleaning and rebuilding the old carb.

Saved me a couple hundred $
Perfect fit for my Troy Built push mower (model 12AVB25S011). I had my 12yo son remove the old carb and install the new one. Great learning experience for him. It brought the forgotten and dead, $10 thrift store buy roaring to life. This $13 carburetor is worth every penny. Well built, comes with new gaskets, and fits perfectly!
