Finally found one that fits my arm and phone

I'm a big guy with big arms. 18" biceps. I've had a hard time finding an arm band that fits me. By using the included extension strap I am able to use this band comfortably. In fact, when I first opened it I thought it was going to be too big. After playing with it a bit I found the perfect adjustment combination. It looks HUGE when you open it because it's made for the larger Note/Plus screens, but I realized right away that I actually needed that size to hold my Samsung Galaxy S8 with an Otter Box case on it. It slides in and out easily and the touch screen seems to function well. I would not recommend this unless you have large arms or it will probably be uncomfortable, but for a bigger person it really is great. p.s....Just to make sure I don't mislead you....it will work just find on say a 14" arm....you just don't use the extension strap.

FINALLY, an armband that works for arms larger than a child's and today's larger phones!

This is the 5th armband I've purchased in an attempt to find something that works with my iPhone 7 Plus and all I can say is FINALLY! This is the first armband that actually fits my arms. It comes with a 6" extension strap, but I haven't even needed it yet (maybe it'll come in handy during winter runs when I'm wearing more layers). This is also the first armband I've tried that has a front cover that is compatible with the home button and touchscreen of the iPhone 7. It's a softer material than the thick plastic used by other armbands. This is nice for a couple of reasons - one, it allows you to effectively use the touchscreen without tapping multiple times or pressing hard and, two, it allows for a larger phone like the iPhone 7 Plus to be removed easily without having it stick to the front panel. Portholic was also smart enough to include multiple headphone jack holes at the bottom of the armband, so there's no need to cut your own...there's one right there in the middle if you happen to use wired headphones. There is a slot on the back to hold a couple of cards (DL and debit card) in case you need that post-run coffee fix and the key slot on the band is nice as well. I've been using the armband for a couple of weeks now and I am very happy with it.

Good quality but for really big phones

UPDATE: Portholic saw my review and immediately contacted me with a link to the right-sized product for my phone/case. Since product is great quality AND they have great customer service, I am updating my review to Five Stars. Waaay too big. It's like having a paperback book strapped to your arm. I don't have a super bulky case on my iPhone 7 Plus, so my phone swims a bit in this. With a larger case maybe it would be perfect.

Nice looking and Spacious for my use

The item arrived on time, in perfect condition, packaged securely. It was exactly what's shown here, nothing different. From the description of the armband, the cell that I have, and from reading some of the reviews I already knew I would have some space in this armband. That was actually great for me, because I actually put extra stuff inside the case along with my cell anyway, so this armband was perfect for me. I just received it, so I don't know how well it will hold up with use yet, but I will return and let you all know.

Has extender for larger arms if needed

Let me just start by saying, I have an LG stylus plus with a case. A company rep said this band might be too big for my phone, but its not! Its perfect! I love the packaging. Very sleek. I love the extras that were put into this design- credit card holder on the inside so it can't fall out, a little velcroed flap for my ear bud wires, and a place for a key. I'm not sure about the key holder, but everything else worked fantastically! One thing that really stands out for me, is that the company recognized that one size does not fit all and they added an extender piece for larger arms. So awesome!

Big sized phone users need this!

I ordered this on a whim, thinking it might not fit my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 which is enclosed in an Otter Box style case. As everyone knows, the Note 8 is one big phone. Received my arm band and was pleasantly surprised that it fit with no problem. This also comes with an armband extension for big arms for a nice fit. Touch screen works perfectly through the clear plastic window. At the bottom there are access ports for the headphone jack, charger jack and stylus. On one side is a pocket for a key (think house or car key) and on the other is a Velcro flap to secure your headphone wire. On the backside of the main piece is a pocket for a credit card/ID. Great purchase!

I love this exercise band

I love this exercise band!! I used it today and I was still able to send texts and change the songs through the plastic front. It fit securely around the top of my arm and my forearm, it even came with an extender so my husband could wear it. I would definitely recommend it to my friends!

Fits an IPhone XR in a Lifeproof Case! Yay!!!

This was the fourth running armband I tried. Kept ordering ones that were too small. Finally found this one. It fits my IPhone XR in the Lifeproof case!!! The case has two places to thread the strap depending on your arm size and comfort level. My favorite thing about the case besides it fitting my phone, is the cool Velcro strap that holds the headphone cord in place and out of the way. This case is awesome!! Won’t be disappointed!

so good. From a design perspective

I have used this product twice since I received it. And so far, so good. From a design perspective, it is excellent. It is designed with a local gym in mind--with slot for the key to your locker, a space for a card or two. The extension strap is also convenient and particularly helpful when it comes to how tight or loose you want the band on your arm. It is large enough to hold the phone with the case on. The apps are easily accessible, but the fingerprint feature doesn't work which is to be expected. Right now, the only question for me is how long would it last. But for the functionality and the price, you can't go wrong. I highly recommend this product, especially if you use a gym.

Works great with the Otterbox!!

I have always had iPhones over the years with no insurance, due to the Otterbox cover, but always would have to put it at risk with the armbands when I ran. Well now I have finally found the armband that keeps me from having to take the phone out of the casing. It fits perfectly and is still secure for my runs, even on my long day runs. The only fault I found was with me having the newest iPhone...I did specify this, it still has the clear casing part done as if I had still owned iPhone 7+. Other than that this is the best armband I have ever owned. Thanks.
