Great healthy way to get your Vitamin C!
I've used this twice so far and really like it a lot. I do not find it too loud at all. There are two things I think could be better but neither is too bad of an issue. The first is that a lot of times a little bit of the oranges I used had a little flesh on the edge of the fruit. I would try to hold that part close to the rotating bit and that worked most of the time. Also a little bit of juice would dribble down the center. Otherwise, awesome little machine that doesn't take up much room at all. It's also very easy to clean. I love it that I am getting much healthier orange juice with all the good vitamins and without all the added sugar and artificial junk. I also chose to add the pulp on top of the machine into the juice to get more fiber.

... juicer during a holiday baking crisis and was immediately happy with it
I bought this juicer during a holiday baking crisis and was immediately happy with it. I ordered this product because of all the good reviews and the price, as I seldom juice fruit. But because of shoulder surgery, I was unable to use my old standby wooden reamer -- I only had the use of one arm. So my second batch of delicious cranberry bread, which required me to ream a dozen oranges was delayed until the juicer's arrival. This juicer did a great job, the oranges were done in no time and there was literally no juice left in them. It did require a little manipulation of the fruit on the reamer, but I imagine that would be the same with any juicer. Cleaning was super easy, all the parts disassembled and reassembled easily. I was really pleased with this purchase and recommend it.

Fantastic performance especially for the price
I don't know what negative reviewers are talking about here. Put the money I am incredibly impressed with that well it has worked the first five or six times I've used it. At this point if I get a half year out of it I'll be happy. My daughter and I have made a ton of citrus juices and have been able to get almost every drop of juice out of the fruit. If you were looking for a real juicer then Pony up the price it will take. This thing operates wonderfully and as I said it's so easy to clean I'll be happy if it only last 6 months to get a new one. Hopefully I will get more out of it but with an impatient 10 year old making juice for me every morning I cannot complain :-)

Great little juicer
So easy to use! I use this to juice lemons for cooking and baking. This is not a complicated or expensive appliance and is so effective. It is easy to use, catches all the pits, and fast. Saves me lots of time when I need several lemons for cake baking. Left over juice stores in the bowl with top in the frig. Comes apart easily for cleaning and the bowl, top, and other pieces are dishwasher safe. Its foot print is small and fits neatly in my baking drawer. I am very happy with my purchase.

A Powerful Juicer.....
I live in Florida...we have many citrous trees. We juice 5 times a week....4 to 6 quarts each time. This Juicer is strong and powerful. Cannot belief it was so inexpensive and yet so powerful. Bought a second one for my daughter home. We donated our other juicers to Goodwill as they were useful but only ordinary. We have even burned out some over the years or ruined the gears. This juicer is most effective.

Does the job!
We used this juicer over the course of about two hours to juice enough lemons to produce over 40 cups of lemon juice...and it did an awesome job! The adjustable pulp filter worked well. My husband likes heavy pulp and it definitely let enough pulp through. The only thing to watch out for is seeds, and pieces of seeds, also betting allowed through if the setting is for max pulp. During the two to three hours we used it, we had to stop and clean it every time the container filled up, but it was an easy task. Very easy to clean. We also tried it on oranges and grapefruit, using the larger fitting. It worked well on the oranges but the grapefruit were a little too large to juice easily. It definitely took a little more manipulation to effectively juice the grapefruit as the cone wasn't quite large enough. All in all, we were very happy with the performance and subsequent ease of clean up. Worth the money! I highly recommend this juicer!

It's a blessing!
It's quite a bit larger than I needed or wanted and takes up more space than I can spare, but it's so easy to use and saves so much time and wear and tear on my arms and wrists--it's a blessing! I always had such a mess with juice and pulp all over me, all over the table and usually some on the floor, but with this juicer it's neat and clean and fast. It comes apart so easily to empty the pulp and wash - clean-up is a breeze!

Incredibly easy to use!
Just got this yesterday and couldn't wait to get it out of the box. I made some lemonade with it. Like the pictures show, you just slice the fruit in half and press firmly on top until it gets the job done. I watched the juice drip out until none dripped out anymore and tossed the skin away. Which was all that was left! It cleaned that sucker out. I put it on the far right setting for no pulp and it kept all the pulp out! I had to rinse it in the sink every couple lemons to keep from clogging it up but that was super quick and easy. I would assume if you liked pulp then you wouldn't have to rinse it out as often since more would flow through. For my recipe I needed 2 cups of lemon juice and with no pulp was able to get it in about 5 or 6 lemons. That yielded me an entire pitcher of lemonade! It doesn't make much noise, and when I was all done I simply rinsed it out under the faucet in the sink and stored it away! From start to finish and cleaning up this product was extremely easy and efficient. For the price I paid I'd say I definitely got my money's worth. I've only used it once but couldn't imagine it not working just as great down the road since it uses such a straight-forward design.

Great Buy!
This is an easy to use, easy to clean citrus juicer that I wish I had bought 25 years ago! It is versatile (will juice small fruit like limes or large fruit such as Meyer lemons and even relatively small grapefruit. There is an adjustment allowing a little or a large amount of pulp to go through with the juice. It is well made and requires only a small space for storage. I will be buying oranges by the bag to have fresh juice. Probably my favorite small appliance.
