WELL THIS LITTLE UNIT SURE TURNED OUT NICER THAN I EXPECTED!!!

I'm a retired draftsman and engineer and have been laying out projects with a small lap-top drawing table for years. My engineering career forced me to learn to design and draw on a computer but as an old-school draftsman I never learned to enjoy drawing on the computer. It just never satisfied the "Artistic" aspect that drafting always seemed to fulfill. At any rate, drawing on my lap has never been convenient. or easy. Drawing tools constantly sliding down the side of my chair and never really finding that comfortable position to hold my board, square and triangles. I bought this little unit thinking I might be able to set it up to become a little TV-Tray drafting table and it just turned out to be awesome! Honestly, the easel on it isn't really much to draw on... but it didn't take me long to design and construct a miniature drawing board that fit just like it was made for it (um, which it was!). Now I just leave it set up on a wooden TV-Table and set off to the side until I want to use it again and it turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for. I keep all my small scale drafting tools in one drawer and my little 8.5" x 11" drawings in the other. I LOVE IT!!!
