Totally impressed. I read multiple reviews and researched projectors for awhile before I decided on this one. So happy I ended with this one. Very bright, easy to work! Even with light coming through the window I could see just fine!

So far so good! So easy to carry around to different sites, easy to setup.

Better than a new tv.grandkids and me love to watch movies projected on the wall.clear picture. Speakers are great. Ask you need is a Chromecast plug. We have it on a 9x4 wall in their bedroom. Good way to get them tucked in bed. They go willingly. Lol

We have a couple of other projectors, a high-end BenQ W1070, a lower-end Fugetek FG-857, and I purchased this Xinda mini for above my bed as a replacement for an Aaxa ST200 (which I will explain later in case you're considering the two). Display quality: the Xinda at 800x480 has the lowest resolution of the 4 projectors (BenQ ~$500 1980x1020; Fugetek ~$160 1280x800; Aaxa ST200 $250 1280x720), but at $100 it is the cheapest and, considering its small size, I think it's acceptable for me. As long as your expectations are realistic this may be an excellent purchase for you. For watching movies and TV the Xinda is absolutely fine. Better than I would have expected at this price point. However, I am mainly running my laptop to it and initially Windows 10 was duplicating the display from the laptop, so the lowest resolution I could set within Windows 10 display settings was something like 1024x768, which was difficult to use, especially with small text. After I went into the Intel graphics card properties and separated the displays I could set it to 800x600 and that was much more usable for seeing taskbar icons, web browsing, spreadsheets, and Steam games. I can also point it at the wall 9 feet away and get a nice, clear display. I'm including 3 photos of the Xinda hooked to a Win10 laptop and displayed on my ceiling at 4 feet distance from where it's mounted: 1) with blinds and black-out curtains closed, 2) blinds and curtains closed but headboard lamp on, and 3) blinds closed, curtains open on an overcast afternoon. You can see the Xinda above me in the second photo. After switching the resolution to 800x600 you can see text is fairly legible. The available keystoning works, but it distorts and blurs the display with a computer, especially because my display is about 4 feet from the projector. For movies and TV I really don't notice the blur. In contrast, the Fugetek is about the same in its keystone action (mostly useless), the Aaxa ST200 was a bit better, and the BenQ you can keystone all you like without ever incurring noticeable blurring of the display. Obviously the BenQ is my favorite on this count, but I just can't justify spending $500+ on a bedroom projector. The Xinda is about on par with the Fugetek and maybe a little better than the Aaxa for viewing during the day without lights on. It also looks okay when the light on the headboard is on, but turning the ceiling light on next to where the display is on the ceiling obviously blows out the image terribly. I have blinds and black out curtains on the two windows in the bedroom, so I just shut those and it looks great. But it is also okay with just the blinds shut and some ambient filtered daylight. It actually performs a little better than I expected. The built-in speaker sounds tinny and because it's right above my head I really don't enjoy it. I use a separate bluetooth speaker paired with my devices for sound. In contrast though, the built-in speaker on the Xinda is a bit louder than the speaker on the Aaxa, about like the BenQ, and quieter than the Fugetek. You definitely need a separate speaker for the Xinda to sound decent. The fan noise is maybe a little quieter than the other projectors we've had. None of them are silent or, if they are, they probably won't have great longevity. I've fallen asleep with the Xinda on. It is about the same loudness as and sounds like a desktop pc fan. The display space between my headboard and ceiling is limited to about 4 feet, which makes the display from the Xinda about 40" on my ceiling. Originally I had it on a tripod next to the bed and the size was good, probably 70" to 80", but I couldn't leave it there because it was in the walkway to the laundry room. So I got an Erisan wall mount with an extension and mounted it above the headboard. In contrast to the Aaxa ST200 the displayed image on the Xinda is a lot smaller from the same distance. The resolution is significantly better on the Aaxa, which I do miss. However, the Aaxa is built so that the lens is recessed behind the white plastic case, which causes horrific light reflection on the surrounding white plastic that appears as about a 1 foot box of dimmer white light around the actual image displayed by the Aaxa. That one thing was so profoundly annoying I simply couldn't live with the Aaxa. On top of that, the lens on the Aaxa ST200 I received was misaligned, so you could never get the left and right sides of the display in focus at the same time. While that was an easy manufacturer warranty fix apparently, the white box around the display was extremely annoying. I sent back the Aaxa and my search for a mini projector began all over again. The Xinda's lens is flush with or sticks out past the plastic case, depending on how it's focused, so no weird light bleed, and its resolutions was on par with other similarly priced projectors. The overall reviews and customer satisfaction with the Xinda were higher than others, so I took a chance on it. I'm glad I did. It is totally acceptable for an above-the-bed projector for my computer and Chromecast. I'm trying to do away with heavy TVs in my home because of earthquakes and thanks to regular power outages we go on generator a lot and LED projectors eat fewer watts. This Xinda replaced a 42" flat screen that was taking up wall space in my bedroom. The image quality took a hit, but I can lay flat on my back and play games. Can one really put a price tag on that? No. If you are only buying one projector for serious movie and TV viewing and can swing a few hundred more dollars, you should look at something else, like BenQ or Optoma.

Works great in very dark areas. Easy to use. I used a 120" screen.

After debating on purchasing this or saving another $100 for a 1080p projector im glad i went with this! Dont let the 800x600 fool you! When in a dim/dark room and properly focused its amazing! To me it looks more like 720p quality My setup: This projector 7ft gold plated hdmi cord $50 surround sound system Projecting at 110in diagonal About 15 ft away from wall projected on After playing with the picture settings and color settings it looks amazing! The menu is one of the easiest yet detailed iv seen! Don't be fooled by $300 projectors. This $70-120 brand is right up there and looks amazing ONLY CONS: I don't feel this is 1500 lumens. More like 900-1000. But thats still enough. My room is well light and picture is still good Fan is a tad loud but once movie starts its unnoticed. UPDATE! After the last several days of usage i feel a update is in order. I still absolutely love the thing. Im a bit of a older movie fanatic and the quality for those older films is top notch! When watching new shows/movies that are 1080p and above you can notice a LITTLE pixelated edge around some objects/ people. Absolutely not enough to stear me away tho. You don't really notice it unless you are looking for it. I definitely recommend mounting it or placing it no more then 12-15ft away from where it will be projecting. Any more will increase the pixelation. Still a solid projector for $80! Photos from movie (Ladder 49)

For what we are using for, outdoor movie night in our back field, works great.Would buy again.
