Quick and easy install

Once unpacked and I read the instructions, these took all of 10 minutes to install. Very easy one person job and worked great first time. Will update once I have used them a few times. Update: Now that I have had these for several months and used them a lot I can say that they were definitely worth the investment. They are sturdy and easily adjustable since no two sites are the same.

So much better than the creaky original stairs!

Worth EVERY penny! They look pretty intimidating but installed in less than 15 minutes. Very durable and sturdy. These installed directly into my 5th wheel. No modification was needed for any structures (there are stairs leading to the bedroom next to the door - no problems!). The best part is that the RV doesn't shake anymore when people enter and leave!

Easy install and great product

This step is a great unit.It provides much better stability when going up/down the stairs. The angle of departure is better than the OEM steps and makes it easy for us as well as our dogs to use. I like the adjustable feet in case the ground is un-level, easy to change by just pulling a pin.The installation was straightforward and only involved driving a few screws to secure it. I spent the most time ensuring it was straight. Total install time was maybe 30 minutes (I could easily do it in 15 now). If you follow the directions it is easy enough for a novice to install with a screwdriver (recommend a power driver). The only downsides I see are the need for a slightly larger ground area for the lowering of the steps which is usually never a problem.When you put it up, you need to brush off the steps as they are now inside your trailer.

Great RV entry stair upgrade

This is probably the single best upgrade to our 5th wheel! Once you have these steps installed and adjusted they are the most sturdy, stable steps you can have on an RV. No more bouncing as you try to climb into your rig and the stairs are more closely aligned like "normal" house stairs. And it only took me about 20 minutes to install. If you get no other upgrade for your RV, get these!

Make in the US, and it the pride shows

Bottom line, it's a well designed and well-built product, and it's Made in America. My only issue was the screen door. I had to remove the fuzz strip at the bottom to close the door. If the door installer would have installed the screen a bit higher, it wouldn't have been an issue. As most people are saying, quick easy install. The only thing I wish the mfg would include would be a spacer template. A simple cardboard/wood/plastic piece that is 15/16" wide and about a foot long would have been SO much easier to use than trying to spot the small line on my tape measure. It's 15/16, not an inch, or 3/4, but 15/16. Trying to align this big object, centering it on the door opening and parallel to my door sill at 15/16" sucks. My eyes suck, I'm getting old. But this is the worse that I can say. Everything else was a breeze. Sorry, one last gripe, they could have cleaned off all the metal shavings from the cutting and screwing. It's a minor thing, but metal splinters suck too. This is a good investment. I feel like I am using concrete steps. It feels that secure and robust. Better than wood steps that still creak. One major issue I used to have with the old steps was scraping the back of my Achilles stepping down and rubbing on the sharp edge of the steps. THESE STEPS ARE ROUNDED AND SMOOTH. All aluminum extrusion. Safe, secure, and built in the US.

Rock solid and easy installation.

This is an outstanding product with easy installation. Literally 1/2 hour from unbox to installed. Our Bassett Hound has no trouble going up and down these where he could not navigate the factory steel steps. Rock solid when the stabilizing legs are deployed. Go to an RV show and you will see these are quickly becoming the industry standard and with good reason - they don't move when extended. Do the qualification sheet to make sure you order the right one. When you do that, installation is simple. Measure carefully, predrill the screw holes, follow the instructions exactly. There have been many reports of damaged units, missing parts - the screws. If the box is damaged when delivered, the delivery company driver needs to report it immediately. The packing could be better. Ours were in perfect condition when delivered.

You must purchase these stairs!!!

Best purchase ever! We were needing new stairs for our 5'er. We ordered these steps, and I can't say enough about them. You can find the installations instructions on the Amazon listing (They can also be found on the manufacturer website). I read the install instructions the night before so when the stairs arrived the next day, I was ready to go. WHAT A BREEZE to install. I had the stairs and the handrail installed in less than 10 minutes. That is not a joke! Less than 10 minutes! I recommend these stairs to ANYBODY with a trailer. They are perfect.

EXCELLENT STEPS

These are great steps. I don't know why all manufacturers don't install them on all of their rigs. I paid about $325 retail, I suspect they can get them for less, and if they can't, bump the price up to compensate. But, installing these would eliminate the other steps and the elimination of the folding steps in favor of these should balance out. Either way, these are great and it took us all of 10 minutes to install them, even though there were no screws included. Luckily I have a full stocked shop and plenty of screws to fasten it.

Love the steps

We have had these steps a few months now and we like them. We are pretty much full timers so they get a lot of use. They are very sturdy and make getting up in the camper a lot easier. Would definitely recommend, these steps are a great product and they were easy for my husband to install.

Great stability, great price!

These steps are fantastic! Well worth the price! Easy to install, great fit, using the purchase pre-order fit instructions, great quality. Steps are adjustable at the landing, very stable and nice locking mechanism at the door. We had to remove our door piston so we purchased a baggage latch to secure the door when in the open position. Would definitely purchase these steps again!! Great product, much more stability than with the standard RV pull out three steps.
