3 star because 1 of the 4 product arrived defective (Will update)

great product, great idea, but maybe I received 1 out of the 4 defective product by accident, which is why this product recieves a 3 star. Currently using mate for key chain and it's working wonderous, the app on the iphone is very smooth and works great. The response from the phone and tile is quick and simple. Currently contacting customer service to see if they will honor the warranty provided(purchased may 31, arrived june 2, 1 was defective). Considering the price for this device, as well as the battery replacement policy I expect either a refund or replacement for the defective product. Will keep this review updated. Update: 5 stars because of excellent customer service, and I enjoy using the product.

**I TAKE IT BACK** My apologies Tile Company! I can only guess that I was (somehow) doing something wrong when I initially tried this product. [It is correct in my first review that this set did not deliver the adhesives in my order as stated in the product description]. HOWEVER, opposite from what I wrote in my first review, this Tile locator actually WORKS AWESOMELY! It’s saved me TONS of times from searching high and low for household items that commonly ge misplaced. I’m so sorry Tile for my previously negative review. Original Review: I was hoping this combo pack would save me money.... Description reads: Tile EA-07004 Combo Pack + ADHESIVES- Mate & Slim Combo Pack + Adhesives. Key Finder. Wallet Finder. Item Finder - 4 PacK “PLUS Adhesives” All four tiles came, but there are no adhesives in my box, making them useless for the purposes I purchased them for. I had to purchase the separate adhesives that I can only hope arrives by Tuesday (today’s Sunday) for me to have while traveling. Minutes after writing this review I dropped the rating from 3 stars down to 2 because the Tile does not always ring my phone when double pressing as advertised- it’s hit and miss, but not consistent.

THESE ARE THE BEST THINGS EVER!!

These have seriously saved my relationship. My fiance used to wake me up (he works evenings and I work overnights) asking me where he put his keys or wallet the night before... when I hadn't been home at all except to sleep... It's a miracle I didn't murder him. Now he lets me be and uses his phone to find his keys and wallet, and his keys or wallet to find his phone! I must say it's also been invaluable to me, working 12 hour nights with an hour commute each way, I am always a zombie when I'm leaving the house! These tiles make sure that I always leave prepared and don't waste any time searching aimlessly for keys that I've left in random places! I seriously can't recommend these enough! Easy to set up and they even have customizable ringtones!

Worth the investment!

Sure, Tile costs a little money to replace annually, but the benefit of finding my wallet when I left it at a restaurant, my keys when I lose them or my small daughter has dropped them in a store? Worth it. I like to think of tile as an annual subscription even. I keep one in my wallet, one on my keys, and suddenly, everything I need can be found quickly and easily, including my phone. Now, I will say this—the biggest benefit to tile is the Tile Community (where another tile members’ tile [ANONYMOUSLY!!] pings off of the Bluetooth your Tile is constantly emitting). If you live somewhere remote or less populated, that feature may not work as well. But I can’t begin to describe how many times I’ve walked into the house and set my keys down somewhere only to forget where that was. And I can just pull up the app to find them. It has helped prevent me from being late to more events and appointments than I can count. And an added benefit is that, should someone steal my purse or wallet even, I can track them down much more quickly. Yes, they only last a year. Yes, they only work a a certain distance. And yes, you need to keep your phones Bluetooth on for them to work. But all in all, the comfort and peace of mind is worth its weight in gold. **An added bonus, I know some people may worry about just how “water resistant” they are, but I’ll tell you this, my slobbery 7 month old grabs this (over lead-based keys, okay?) to gum on when I’m out and about and it has never once had a problem and I’ve had these for nearly a year.

A great product with a surprising feature

I am really quite satisfied with these. I was prompted to buy them after losing my wallet in a department store. They do a great job of taking my items and we’re super easy to setup. However they came with an unexpected feature that I use more than anything. Each tile has a button on it that if you press twice will ring an alarm on your phone to find it. I probably use this at least once a week. The other nice thing about these is they arnt a unit you could keep two and give two to a friend as long as you set them up independently they work independently. My only minor gripe is that I’ve had them for about a month and I’m already noticing the silver paint coming off however they still function just great. I would 100% recomwnd this product to a friend (in fact I have to many) if you’re on the fence add it to your cart today!

I find new ways to use it all the time

I have one for my car keys, wallet/purse, car and luggage. Once you have a tile you will think of great ways to use it. Like when I want to get out of a conversation- I click the tile on my card keys in my pocket and make my phone “ring” and bow out. I keep track of where I parked with the one in my glove box. I keep track of my luggage when traveling by slipping one in my suitcase. I move them around whenever I need to keep track of something. These are much easier and more efficient than asking someone to call your phone, mine is always on silent. When I dropped my phone on a walk the tile helped me find it in a pile of leaves.

Great if you are often stoned often

I smoke weed everyday and instructed by Dr Dre and Snoop so frequently I cannot locate my items. I have one tile one my key chain and one in my wallet that way I can almost always find everything I need to leave the house. (it is just not practical to attach one to my glasses) If I have my phone I can easily locate my keys or wallet from the app, but what I also love is that when i just have my keys or wallet I can locate my phone. And It now works even if you dont have the app open in the background which is nice.

Love the combo pack!

I lose everything. this is my 2nd year using Tiles & I'm so glad I got the combo pack! I gave one to my mom & showed her how to use it with her keys, and even an octogenarian can use the app successfully! For me, I slipped one in my phone/credit card holder because I'm constantly removing my phone & then losing the holder (smh). I also have one on my keys, because finding them at the bottom of my giant purse is a nightmare. The one thing I do NOT recommend doing is hanging one on a dog collar. I tried that last year & somehow he was able to chew it to bits 🤣🤣🤣 Otherwise, I have one on my daughter's backpack, and I even tucked one in the car so I can find where I parked. Hey! I told you I really do lose things!!

The original and still the best

These are fantastic. I bought the TrackR originally, but they were nowhere near a replacement for the Tile. The new size of the Tile Slim is perfect for a wallet and the new Minis are just as-expected.
