My daughter loves the water bottles and the sweet food replicas. All pieces to the set are recognizable and well made. My daughter is three and can't stop playing with her new fake food set. There are so many pieces. I hope this company can make a variety of fake food sets in the future. Like healthy eating or vegan sets.

My 3, 6, and 8 year olds went crazy when it arrived

This arrived in the afternoon, before school got out. My 3 year old wanted to open it up but I made him wait :) About 10 minutes after my 6 year old and 8 year old got home from school - we let er' rip! I opened the box and there were 3 compartments inside. There's a pic of what it kind of looked like before I dumped it out for my kids to play. I think originally the foods were organized as breads, fruits, etc. My kids quickly mixed and matched them though. These really seemed to spark creative play. There's some toys that are sort of a dud with creativity. This fantasy food set was far from a dud though. I left the room for a bit and when I came back they were playing restaurant. Then a little later it turned into a food fight and I was the target haha Lots of fun and I want to get one of these for my friend's kids!

Wow, I knew 202 sounded like a lot, but there are a lot of pieces to keep my daughter occupied for awhile.

A lot of items! I knew it said 202, but it kept my kids busy for quite a while. 8-year-old and 10-year-old jumped in and they wanted to play also along side my 6- and 3-year-olds. There are french fries that are in a paper holder (just like when you get it from the fast food restaurants), and besides that, they are all plastic. You can see the actual size of the item in the last picture after they got excited and dumped it all on the blanket. They went back to it night after night to play with it for a while, and my daughter was quite excited about adding more items to her kitchen toys. Love it~

Plenty of variety for pretend play - I'd recommend removing some items

Overall, I like this set. There are a ton of food items that I would consider to be safe (not choking hazards). However, I did find a few that should not be given to any child (or adult) because they are plastic play food and they can absolutely choke someone of any age. Since we are talking about pretend play with pretend food items, it's got to be assumed that people will pretend to eat them, and that means possibly putting these pieces in their mouths. The items I deemed potential choke hazards were items that could easily fit into a person's esophagus: the hot dogs/buns, individual fries, hot peppers, cucumber, individual potato chips, and this could be debatable but, the whole potatoes. All it takes is a moment for ANYONE (child or adult) to choke on an item while playing. I'm not real overprotective, but I know what I could potentially choke on, and I would absolutely take these items out of the set immediately upon receiving it. You'll still be left with a wide variety of other items.

Ssssooooo many pieces! What a deal!

Ordered this for my niece and it arrived the next day. It has SO MANY pieces of all sorts of food! Her mom may kill me since there is a lot of toy food to play with in this set. She will surely have pieces everywhere.... Lol The food looks sturdy and well made and the selection is outstanding. I am excited to see her play with it.

So much fun! My son (4 yrs) loves to help me cook meals... sometimes becomes time consuming when time doesn't allow. He now has his own food & LOVES it! He saw the box a few days before his b-day & 'chirped' at me about getting it early. I gave in & so glad. Entertainment for hours--- imagination central! Made all types of meals-- snacks-- desserts-- etc... had a blast... and helps him practice his kitchen skills without the dangers of heat. Very happy with quality too, durable and strong-- as my son is not gentle when learning. My daughter (1) is still aging through the stage in which everything is a teether-- so another bonus point for strength in the product. Hard plastics vs flimsy paper, etc. All parts are large/safe enough to avoid chocking too. Many reasons I'm very happy with this product. Thank you!

This is a super cute play set that my husband and I had ...

This is a super cute play set that my husband and I had as much fun playing with as our kids did. Some of the pieces are fixed where others you can mix and match. You can build burgers, ice cream and hot dogs. The drinks all came with lids. The pieces are made of a thick plastic that is prettt durable. Our favorite pieces were the water bottles and sodas with straws. We plan to use this set for food therapy, to talk about more difficult foods and to talk about different ways food can be prepared. We are hoping we can use these toys to reduce our daughters anxiety about foods with a fun interactive toy. This is a large set for the price. They are so life like!

There is a TON of food in this kit. I left half of it in the box to switch up later to keep them fresh and exciting every few months and to keep cleanup to a minimum. My daughter has played with this food and her play kitchen more already today than she has since we got for Christmas last year... we had been previously using another popular brand of wooden toy playfood that just wasn't interesting enough to keep my kids excited for longer than a couple of minutes. Some of there pieces are better made/thicker plastic than others but that is to be expected and it's only a few pieces. The hot dogs are too small for little kids. It's a choking hazard... but I just left them in the box to keep put away till they are older. No biggie. the "boxed" food is plastic and not just cardboard which I totally appreciate because cardboard playfood lasts exactly .01 seconds in the hands of little kids.. total plus. I would definitely buy this set again.

Realistic High Quality Play food + Great value with loads of fun :)

Product arrived sooner than expected and came in good condition with nice color box packaging. My nieces ages 5 and 8 both enjoyed playing with them. A great selection of present foods with vibrant colors. I love how realistic and durable the pretend foods are, you can tell from the attention to detail of the pretend foods. They are very durable and don't have any plastic smell. I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family.
