Makes a good impression

I was a little skeptical when I first opened up the package, but after using a few of the punches, they worked really well. A friend of mine had a set of punches that were about 5 times as much and I actually preferred the impression of these. Haven't used them long or much so I can't talk about the durability of them.

Properly applied it work fine

I used these to mark keys. Use a really solid surface as an anvil. A concrete floor works well, a table top does not. Strike with a fairly heavy hammer (carpenter's hammer works well) and it will make a clean impression every time. Keys are fairly soft metal. Some steels are pretty hard (like stainless) and will not deform easily to form an impression. Hold the die firmly and vertically against surface when striking.

Use to stencil ID numbers on my boat. Perfect.

The state demands a identification plate mounted on the stern of my boat. I found these tools easy to stamp ID numbers on a 1/4 piece of aluminum. With a quick stroke of a hammer, the cutting edges of the stencil help up after repeated punches. and easy to read mark.

Heavy duty

Wanted to use product before reviewing. Product was used on metal wood plastic, no chips, cracks, or bradding. I even heated (not recommend) to glowing red used for burning initials in wood and plastic. did not harm the integrity of the metal. 5stars

Awesome! Exactly what I was looking for. They're good quality, heavy, and well made. The set even includes &. They come oiled, I would suggest keeping them oiled...they look like they would rust easily if not taken care of.

Great set

I use these metal stamps for placing Memorial tags on trees. I tap the names of my 15 dogs into copper tags and wire to a tree for each remembered dog.

Not bade

Item wasn't as large as I thought, but it will work nicely for small items that you want to personalize.

perfect size

I wanted a larger type print for my jewelry and this stamp set was a perfect fit.

good large letters

good large letters, and covers about anything I want to stamp. I can't report anything on the longevity as I haven't had them very long, but it's a good looking stamp set,and a good price for what you get.
