Super value!
Before buying these i was a little apprehensive because 12w led retro housing are usually 65-75watt comparable and these claim 100w. Either way, I was replacing 65w standard bulbs and these were less $$ than the 65w led equivalent (atleast that i could find on amazon). So in the pictures provided is a comparison of the new led(left) vs my old 65w bulbs. Pictures are full dim and full power. I am very happy about the ability to dim MORE than standard bulbs. Over all A+ product for the $$.

Great Replacement for old recess lights
These were extremely simple to install. They come with the adapter to screw right into the old socket or if this is a new install, that adapter pops off for the standard led orange plug. I choose 3000k and they feel a lot hotter than that to me but they still look great. If you are looking for the same basic color as old style bulbs, you might want to go for 2700k, but the 3000k provide more light with a similar color. I’m sure the night you go the brighter they will be. Also, I was adding a lutron Caseta dimmer switch at the time of adding these. I installed the bulbs first with the original basic light switch and they worked perfectly. They work just as well with the lutron switch for on, off, and dimming. Great leds for a great price. I have 4 more lights to replace in my house and I will definitely be going with these when I go ahead and update them.

3000k takes getting used to but these are great
2 days in - we really like them. We got the 3000k color and it is really much more of a white color than the incandescent bulbs these replaced. This takes some getting used to. They are very bright and we think we're going to like them a lot - we love how much less electricity we're using. The install was great and all of the units worked very well for us. I found the mounting clips easy to use. It took longer to take the old spring-mounted trims down than it did to mount these inside the can. We did find that some of the fixtures we used these on had some lazy drywall work around the trim that the older trim covered but these did not. My hack was to take the outer ring off of the old trim kit, clean them up, and mount them under these. In our case, the old outside trims were just flat circles so this worked well. There is a little bit of a double-edge look on the outside as a result but nothing anyone would ever take note of. In summary - I can't imagine going higher than 3000k but, at that level, you get very bright, very white light without any of the blue tone in the higher k LEDs. The dimming function works well.

Fantastic white led light!!!
I bought and returned many led lights for recessed cans from big box stores, before finding these. I needed lights that were bright and could be dimmed when desired. Others said bright white 1000 lumens and were full and very yellow 4000k. Some were ppinkish4500k some slightly blue 5500k. These were perfect bright white 5000k color. They came fast they snapped right in tight to ceiling. I had one light with a missing screw out of 36 I put in, i will put a scew where it is missing and keep it for a spare later....i just order another 12 lite too.

Wonderful and bright!
These were so simple to install inside the existing can lights. HOWEVER, I made a major mistake. I way underestimated and stupidly assumed that 5000K and 12 watts would be just like the other color and brightness I had in my home already. Let me tell you, this is like having the roof removed from my home at noon on the equator. These lights are BRIGHT and WHITE. No scuff on the wall or floor goes unnoticed. Personally I like it bright, but my wife gave me 9 kinds of hell. I already trashed all the packaging and the old inserts, so I am going to reorder and creatively redeploy these into work areas and office space in my home where I think she may not be so annoyed.

Easy to install
Works well. A lot of the LED retrofit lights that I found are a warmer yellow light in color and I wanted a cooler whiter light. These installed really easily. Pull the old light trim out, and just screw the adapter into where the lightbulb would screw into and then pop them into place. It took not even 5 minutes to replace all 4 of them. A little bit pricey compared to some of the other ones that I've seen, but then again, those were warmer yellow light in color, so not really want I was looking for.

Easy to install and quite bright
We got the 4000K Cool white lights and they are wonderfully bright. The photo shows a comparison to the previous CFL light which was relatively yellow, and although hard to tell from the photo, was nowhere near as bright. If you're after a less "white" light, I would recommend the 3000K variety, but these were perfect for what we wanted in our kitchen. And, they were only slightly more expensive than replacement CFL bulbs. Installation was simple after a few minutes of "how the heck do you put these in?", then an "Ahhhh" moment... including the time I spent being a bit "slow", 4 lights took me about 15-20 minutes. Would have been quicker if the previous lights were easier to take out (stupid little springs and fat fingers), the ceiling wasn't so high, and one of the lights didn't require me to contort myself over our kitchen sink!

Great Lights! Very Bright! Warm White!
These Lights have exceeded my expectations so far! I have installed all 12 and for the price per fixture they are totally worth the money! They replaced some 7 year older 3000K Sylvania LED Flood lights that were starting to fail. The clips that come on these fixtures are not as good as the name brand ones, but they are adequate if you know how to install these type of lights. They did not give me any issues sitting flush to the ceiling, but I made sure that the can light insert in my ceiling was pulled down to its lowest point so that the spring clips could grab the retainers properly. A little pound of the fist around the outside helped to get them fully seated. The trim ring and housing are made out of ABS plastic and have a pleasant look to them when installed. If anything they sit better than the old aluminum ones I had. They are a warmer white than my old 3000K which I like because I always felt the old ones were too blue. They are not as yellow as some might think. They feel closer to an incandescent color wise, however they are LED so there is some off time between cycles, and you still get strobing from ceiling fans. I have 4 of them on a Hampton-bay fan light controller that is dim-able, and they dim to almost completely off without flickering! This is way lower than my old lights could ever do! If you are decent at installing can lights then these should be a cinch to install for you. As an avid DIY electrician I would definitely recommend these. Time will tell if there is any issue with longevity. I hope this review helps you out if you are straddling the fence to purchase these. Jan 27th 2019: Still working great! Not a single issue. They just work. Lights on and off with confidence. Currently being used with TP-Link HS-220 smart switch Dimmers.

Nice color and easy installation.
Moved into a new home that was pre-wired for a ceiling fan in the middle of the family room. Personally, I'm not a fan of ceiling fans (no pun intended) anywhere other than bedrooms and screened porches/3-4 season rooms. So, I installed 9 of these in the family room and they look great. We prefer the more yellow incandescent look of 2700k and this color range is harder to find than 3000k, which is still too white for my taste. The builder used a 4 gang outlet with toggle switches, so unless I wanted to change all of the other switches to Decora to get one of the dimmers on the Parmida compatibility list, I had to use a toggle/slider. Used a Lutron TGCL-153PH-WH from HD that has HED technology and is supposed to have better compatibility with LED's. Worked well right out of the box with no adjustments required. Full dimming from no light to full brightness. If you have hum, it's more than likely the dimmer, not the LED's. You can try to adjust it internally, or use a different model.

Awesome lights just choose your color wisely!
These lights are a great product. It took longer to remove the lights from the packaging than it did to install. They give a clean look to the ceiling and are VERY bright. I have 2 that are on a dimmer and they also work perfectly at any intensity, w/o any noise! For best results: 1. Make sure that the existing recessed cans have two slots that are facing the opening. 2. Choose your color wisely. I prefer a “whiter” light and with LED’s that’s become a little more variable. I installed the 4000k (cool white) which are very white (no yellowish/soft). I like them but wish I would have chosen the 3000k. The color looks like office lights. Lastly, I have 6” lights and these cover well. I saw a review that stated otherwise. These lights cover a 6” can easily. They have a clean look and all worked upon installation. I would highly recommend these lights (and get the 3000k).
