Perfect for me

Was apprehensive based on some negative reviews, but forged ahead. This scale is everything I need it to be. I was measuring some dry pesticide pellets and needed accuracy under one ounce. It was consistent and reactive to small additions or deletions. Put a sheet of paper on to hold the material and the scale zeroed it out perfectly. There is nothing disappointing about this scale. We will have to see if it endures the test of time.

Love it!

This is a wonderful scale. I am on a diet which has a specific amount of veggies required. I thought nothing of it, « eyeballing » what I assumed was 3 cups of greens, or simply packing a measuring cup with the 3 cups. It turns out someone has figured out the exact weight of a cup of each veggie - and my cup or visual measurement was vastly underestimating how much that is! The scale is very sensitive, so just adding a leaf of spinach changes the weight. Inexpensive, but worth every penny. Pretty, too, and compact.

This is a great good scale

This is a great good scale. It has all the qualities one would want: 1- Large enough for the food I want to weight, but small footprint nonetheless. 2- Light yet seems durable. 3- Small enough to fit in a corner or a drawer, 4- Scale holds a plate and screen is still visible with food on the scale. 5- Easy on/off button. A winner all around.

Slim, efficient, easy to read display!

Very happy so far! Pros: + Very basic, 2 buttons - on/off/tare and lbs/oz/gram + Slim design - fits in my drawer nicely + Love the backlit display - well worth the extra few bucks - no need to turn all the kitchen lights on or use a flashlight to look under the shadow of a plate. + 90 second auto shutoff - no dead batteries but long enough to complete measuring + Seems to be accurate to the best of my ability to confirm + Nice looking. We keep it in a drawer but it looks nice enough to be left out on the counter. Cons: - Large bowls and plates can obscure the display (can't see a way around this with the slim design. I made the choice knowing it would happen sometimes. Though the backlit display helps significantly with this. Just depends on which feature is more important to you. Had it less than a month so far. Will update later on how well it lasts.

Fantastic Value Scale!

This scale is incredible, especially for the price. It is great looking and just the right size. I love that it measures up to 13 lbs. And you can't argue with its accuracy. I have two calibration weights (20 and 200 g.) from a professional AccuLab scale and it measured those weights precisely. The only (very) slight downside is that it only runs on batteries, but I plan to run it on Eneloop rechargables when the supplied alkaline batteries expire, so it's not really a big deal. This is my favorite scale and I use it nearly every day for cooking and weighing small items.

This scale is a must have in your home, office or wherever weights and measures are necessary. I’m using the scale nearly each day for cooking. There’s so many recipes requiring precise weights and this little device makes the process ridiculously easy! The scale is compact, sleek, well lit, well built and so easy to use! The “tare” button is fantastic and allows you to use almost any container to measure whatever is called for. Liquids, solids are a breeze to measure precisely! Best Ever

I have been using kitchen scales for many years & this one is the best yet. The features I love: able to turn scale on with bowl on platform, tare; measure in grams, ounces (continues in ounces even over one pound), pounds, pounds and ounces (ie 2lbs 6oz), and ml; registers quickly; accurate to very within 3/10's of an ounce. I've only had it for a couple of days so I can't speak to its longevity but it has a five year warranty so I'm hoping it'll last a very long time.

So far extremely pleased

Delving into a new diet situation, I just received this scale and have only been using it for a few days, but I can say I already love it and hope it will continue to live up to the multitude of positive reviews (which is why I chose it. Supposedly this company has great customer service and the product is nice. I am hoping should there be a problem they will continue to live up to the reputation). The display lights up and is easy to see. The tare function is great. It is sensitive, appears accurate and gives you enough time before the self-shut-off feature turns it off if not in use. It's so easy I feel like weighing everything in the kitchen :) This scale was just a few dollars more than others I was considering, but I think it is probably worth the investment.

I needed a good (accurate wise) and relatively cheap scale for weighing my pet bird (a small parrot). It's very important to us to have her weight as accurate as possible. I just got the scale and so far I love it! I repeatedly weighed different items and the scale showed the exact the same weight for each item (of course different weight for different items) just like it showed the very first time I had weighed them. P.S. A U.S. nickel is exactly 5 gr according to Google. Here are the pics of the scale proving it. 1 nickel = 5 gr. 2 nickels = 10 gr.

and very easy to use

I have found it to be repeatable when using the same weight several times. This was important to me as my older scales would would read different values when re-weighing the same item. I was using grams for the test due to the greater precision needed with such small increments of weight. It also weighs in one gram units. In summary, very accurate, repeatable, and very easy to use.
