Yes! This is what I wanted

Finally got away from Adobe's buggy mess, at least twice a week talking to support, to this cheaper, albeit slower, but much stabler video editor. Clean and simple interface, shallow learning curve with free seven day access to studio backlot for beginner tutorials. It uses CPU not GPU for rendering so like I said it is slower, but overall I accomplish more because I don't have to work around crashes and no launches every time Premiere updates or it just feels like not running. You can also update this to Ultimate inside this program for $19.99 so do that instead of buying Ultimate outright that gives you some VFX elements, pretty basic stuff, and more cameras to work with, It is definitely worth the $20 though.

Easy to use and has a ton of features.

Love this! Still learning but user friendly

Its hard to not give Video Studio ProX10 5 stars... the feature set in this software would have cost $500 just 6-10 years ago. Software moves forward at breakneck speed... as there is more users, the price per copy keeps coming down as feature set keeps increasing. The product description is very good... and I really enjoyed reading fellow reviewer Cyrus review... I am in full agreement with his excellent review. What features you need should dictate what software you buy... they are all a bit different, some have easier user interfaces as they dont have so many features...or just better designed UI. I will state that video editing is a far stretch from photo editing. For those new to this... a video is about 24-60 still photos for ever second of video. The software must be much more robust, but more importantly, the hardware demands for video far exceed that of photo editors. So if you plan to edit multi minute videos, you should have a machine with AT LEAST the requirements corel suggests, but that is just a min. More Ram, SSDrives, Faster processors all contribute to speeding up the editing process...as with video, based on how extensive your edits are, u can spend a LOT of time waiting for edits to process. I have a good knowledge of photo editing, and there is some common denominators between the two, but video is much more intense and has its own verbiage, so if your new to video, dont get discouraged, it takes time... I have been at it over a year, and still learning.... I think the software model is interesting.... i.e. no upgrades, you just buy the new version... seems unfair to the previous owners...but I guess the theory is, at this price, you got your moneys worth out of the last use, you pay for the next versions use. Adobe does it my montly subscription... seems every model has proponents and opponents....

Corel Video Studio ProX10 is easy to use. From special features like video clip and still photo transitions to FX (special effects) to cloning and titling your work -to name only a few- VideoStudioX10 will open the world of video editing to students and film enthusiasts. If used (as I do) with a Digital Audio Workstation AVI and WMV video formats that you create can be edited and uploaded to the DAW to add your special music track compositions. The work can also be saved (rendered) in other formats as needed. Although VideoStudioX10 does have its own library of music tracks that can be added to your features as stand alone. VideoStudio's Libraries of jpg stock photos as well as wmv format videos propel the beginner and experienced alike to a higher skill level. There is even an exciting high quality library of intro video template clips that help you through the middle, ending and completion of your feature. Corel provides a searchable PDF manual as well as a VideoStudio Training course. On line tutorials are excellent. Time spent learning this craft is definitely time well spent. I write this review as a beginner Video editor, still learning to use the many superb features of this software.

I have used the Corel VideoStudio Pro X10 and the Ultimate X10 and both are really good at allowing you to not just create great videos but do so with a lot of the extras that make it stand out. Almost all of my videos include text and other graphics, and this program allows you to add those to your file without any hassle. I've mentioned before that my computer's age has a little bit to do with the slowness of the playback in the program of what I am creating, but the finished product is really nice. The other thing you will like is that you can share it directly from the Corel program to your social media. This is a nice step that not all programs allow and definitely saves you some time. If you are looking to upgrade the way you are doing your videos for youtube or social media this is what you need to reach towards that next level.

Is a good value, I'm a novice and was able to do a small project.

Easy to use, user-friendly. Cost is great too.
