I like the way the grip feels more than the Nintendo brand ones. For whatever reason the left you joycon has trouble sliding in, but not really a big deal. The rails are plastic instead of metal, but that doesn't seem to be much of an issue.

I really enjoy this grip! In my opinion it is better than the official Nintendo brand. Search the title below on YouTube for a quick video. Search on YouTube: PowerA Joy-Con Comfort Grip Nintendo Switch Review - My2Cents

Purchased two of these once I had several Joy Cons for the family, and wanted the option of additional Joy Grips that weren't pricey. These work very well for the $10. They're the same basic shell that the original Grip that comes with the console is, but I actually like these better. The handgrips themselves feel more ergonomic, and they're curved more naturally to fit players' hands. I actually took photos comparing the original to this product, which is pictured on the left in both photos. Getting the controllers in one of the grips was a little tighter the first few times, and there was a moment where I was nervous that it would break, but once it found the track, it was fine, and it came back out easily, so it may have just been stiff since it was brand new. The green player number lights work fine, synced easily, no issues at all with that. The materials also feel very sturdy, and I haven't had to worry about them feeling flimsy or breakable. My eight year old even dropped one on concrete and it did just fine, even with the controllers place, so plus there for durability. Overall, quite happy with these. They're a great value for the price.

Update - After using the switch for 3 months I have determined that this larger-than-stock grip does make a significant difference for my larger hands. While the kids seem to do fine with either, I always use this over the included grip. I find my hands fatigue much slower using this one. Worth the low price tag for adult hands. This grip is slightly wider and and the holds slightly larger than the one included with the Switch. I find myself using this while playing Zelda over the standard grip. Not a huge difference but enough to recommend it.

Come on, who doesn’t love a little Mario?!? Works as it should and is definitely nice to look at lol

I was faintly skeptical that I wanted a comfort grip that advertised itself to be slightly different than the official nintendo specifications because I'm odd like that, but this comfort grip feels better in every way. The slightly larger textured grip is just more comfortable. This is a high quality comfort grip. Just in case anyone reading this is wondering - this is not a charging grip. It will hold your joycons in convenient luxury but it will not charge them. It isn't supposed to. Joy-cons hold a charge for something like 30 hours anyway - you'd have to neglect charging them for a really long time to need a charging grip.

I have bought two accessories for my Switch that I am in love with. This is one of those two items! I liked the JoyCon Grip just fine that came with the system, but it was always a little too uncomfortable. I didn't want to invest in a Pro Controller because I always hated between different controller feelings and I knew I'd just get too used to the Pro. I ordered this thinking it may be a little better, but this is a huge improvement! The texture is amazing, the small bit of added width is better than I expected and the curvature makes all the difference in the world! If you've not already picked one up these up, do it! You won't regret it.

This grip is a little larger and fits better in adult hands. It's more ergonomic than the original and fits a little more comfortably. Kids shouldn't have an issue with it either since it's smaller than most other controllers. Will buy again if I purchase another set of joy-cons, but it's unlikely at $80 a pop.

My only words will be these: As someone who is very skeptical about buying thing's like these online, do yourself a favor and pick this up without hesitation. Officially licensed product than improves the quality of the grip that comes with your Switch by like 5. I swear to god this thing feels amazing. Imagine as having an Xbox One controller in your hands, seriously it is a very big improvement. It doesn't feel small at all compared to the one you get. If you have big hands or want that modern controller feel, just seriously pick this up.

This is much more comfortable than the official grip. If I ever need another one, which I don't see happening any time soon, I'd definitely get this before getting the licensed Nintendo one. This is SLIGHTLY wider and has MARGINALLY more full hand grips that really make a huge difference in comfort over long periods of time.
