Always be cautious and AWARE..

I had limited options and really needed to purchase this despite the problems I read here. My purchase was problem free but I also took the time to call the toll free number listed in information packet to check on the card balance. In my case the card was valid with funds. For this reason ONLY I gave it 5 stars. I however give VISA the brand “1” star because they have the POWER to implement changes that can eradicate all the issues around their pre-paid cards. It’s criminal and greedy to take advantage of consumers all because they have BRAND MONOPLY. Which basically means their name/brand carry enormous weight and clout that has afforded them a nice cushy spot as the leading source in pre-paid cards. Brand monoply allows for VISA something they otherwise could not afford to do because there are no other alternatives for us the consumer. There mindset is, “We don’t have to do anything but supply a card upon purchase...it doesn’t need to be dependable or reliable because we don’t have competiting brands that can match our years of branding and global recognition so we don’t really need to work too hard or break a sweat in providing quality service for our pre-paid cards...our integrity is competition based which means the less competition, less focus on ethics and integrity and more capitalization on being the monopoly!” Unfortunately folks it’s a win win for VISA and crap shoot for us....so be cautious and aware of the game!...

Was iffy on purchasing bcuz of review's but I was able to activate them online and use them

Worked just had to read carefully to register the card

Worked perfectly! I had to go online and register the card in order to have it attached to my address, it runs a debit card so if you dont do that it may not work in several situations. As long as you read the instructions and follow them you'll be fine, it took me to an outdated website which redirected me to the proper one so I can see how some people probably got confused or just didnt know they needed to do that. I bought it with an amazon Store card which is only good at Amazon and I used it to transfer money into my bank account via Venmo so I could pay some automatic payments this month.

Purchased 20 of these in last 6 months..ZERO problems

I’ve read a lot of 1 Star Reviews on this saying they couldn’t activate that card. I’ve ordered approximately 20 of these in the last six months and I never once had a problem. They’re always delivered within two days and I’ve had no issues at all. To use it as a debit card- the pin number is the last four digits of the card number. Otherwise it functions exactly like a credit card. And the phone number to check your balance is simple, quick and very accurate. The only thing I wish is that there were more styles of card or they came and gift boxes like the Amazon and Whole Foods ones do. It would be great if there were Trader Joe’s gift cards available on Amazon… But, until then I’ll just keep using these excellent Visa cards.

After ordering and reading the reviews I was extremely nervous to get this card. However, I easily registered the card online and was able to use it immediately. The entire balance of $100 was available. Everything worked and was as described.

Initially hesitant, but no complaints here!!!

I decided to write a review for this product because the number of negative reviews made me hesitant to purchase this gift card initially. However I had no issues at all with the functionality of the card. There was no activation required at all on my end. I received the card, opened it and began using it. I used it for a few online purchases, as well as purchases made at a gas station. As noted by many other reviewers, this card can not be used at gas pumps, but if you go inside the store and run the card as credit with the attendant it can be used. Overall very satisfied with my purchase.

No issues

After reading the reviews, I was really hesitant to order Visa gift card. I am actually happy I went ahead and ordered it. I didn't have any problems at all with the balance purchasing things in the store.

Quick and easy gift for those family members that you never know what to buy!

Delivery speed was excellent! You have to either get online or call in and register the card with basic information (name, address, phone, etc) to enable full access of the card such as making online purchases.

Not sure what's going on with the bad reviews but bought card, went to the website on back of card, registered, available balance: $100.

Possible solution for those having card issues.

After having both an issue and success with these cards I have figured out a possible solution for people that have had issues with using their cards. When going through a drive through line the card is swiped and used easily like a credit card transaction. When using these card at a grocery store, such as walmart, you have to tell them you are using a gift card and the exact amount you’d like to pay with the card or it will decline it.
