We love this and other products by Zesty Paws BECAUSE IT SAVED OUR DOG! Our Mischka, a rare breed Karelian Bear Dog developed a low hormone thyroid problem. By the time the vet got it under control her immune system was terribly out of whack. The vet was at a loss and didn't know what to do. He kept giving her lotions because she had lost almost all her hair and itched terribly all over. On a 60-pound dog a tube of lotion isn’t going to do much. She had scaly patches all over her that were red and inflamed and itching. She licked herself constantly to try and relieve the problem. Her skin was pink and smelled terrible. Her eyes had glazed over to the point that we thought she had cataracts and we thought we would have to put her down. She was miserable. and had a terrible life-threatening case of Candida. I figured this out by researching the internet. It happens when their digestive system and immune system is whacked out. We tried everything to help her. Finally, I found a sight that suggested a probiotic, turmeric, baths in anti-itch medicated shampoo and then rinsing with apple cider vinegar all over. After 6 months of trying everything and hundreds of dollars in vet bills we decided if this didn't work we would have to put her down. She had lost so much weight she was half her normal size and it was cruel to have her in such miserable shape. We had lost two others dogs in the last year to cancer and didn't want to lose another but we couldn't let her suffer much more. We began by giving her a bath every day and rinsing her in apple cider vinegar. She wasn't happy with us but we kept going. We changed her bedding every week. We should have changed it more but decided to wait and see if this would work. We would scrub her with a soft bath brush to make sure we got all the scales off each time in order to let her skin dry out and the vinegar get to it. We didn't have to worry about hair because it was almost all gone. We never rinsed the vinegar off nor did we dry her afterwards. We just let her run out in the yard to get dry. It was summer so that helped. After the 1st week she was looking better. The 2nd week she got even better. We were giving her the Zesty Paws Turmeric Curcumin Bites, Zesty Paws 5 in 1 Multi-vitamin Bites, Zesty Paws Calming Bites, Zesty Paws Mobility Bites and Zesty Paws Allergy Immune Supplement Bites. We were also giving her a separate probiotic for her digestive system, thyroid pills, Benadryl, and another chondroitin glucosamine pill so we had to buy the pill pockets or she would spit them out. Yes, it was expensive but cheaper than the vet bills. Besides, she is worth every penny. After two weeks we switched her to a bath every week and continued the medications and switching out her bedding. We were seeing a breakthrough. After 5 weeks her beautify black and white hair started growing back in and she was no longer pink all over and itching. She was still pink under her legs so we kept going. After 2 months all the pink was gone her skin was covered with hair and she no longer itched. Her eyes were clear and she began acting like she did when she was 5 years old. She is great now. Fantastic!

I purchased these treats after my 9 year old Standard Poodle tore his ACL last fall. I opted against surgery and instead went with exercise restriction, glucosamine and chrondroitin (Green Paw Pets Jumpin Joints) and a raw diet. It was helping, but the healing process was very slow. The tear was in August and I purchased these treats for the Black Friday sale, and within a week I saw a HUGE difference in his mobility. The inflammation in his leg went down very quickly and has stayed down. I noticed this product seems to be cleansing his body of all kinds of impurities as well - he had a small cyst on his lip that had been there since June and that was the first to burst and heal up. Then on Christmas Day, a large cyst he'd had on the back of his neck for years did the same thing. Disgusting but such a relief! He's free of any lumps or bumps now, and I've noticed the very small fatty cyst he had in his tuckup area seems to be slowly shrinking now as well. I've just purchased my third tub of these and I plan to keep him on this supplement permanently.

Great Tumeric Product for dogs

This is the best tumeric product I have found for my 2 Shelties. It seems to work better than any other I've tried. I was told almost 4 years ago that one of my dogs had "horrible arthritis" (direct quote from a Veterinarian). She suggested strongly that I immediately give him Prednisone and get him started on NSAIDs. I refused because of the side effects and started looking for ways to treat him holistically. I tried a couple of other Tumeric supplements for dogs before finding this one, but after trying this one, I can really tell a difference in my dog's activity level. I now have him on a regimen of several things which boost his immune system. Tumeric not only boosts his immune system, but is also an anti-inflammatory and helps protect his liver, (since he also has a seizure disorder & takes phenobarbital). He is now 8 1/2 years old and he still walks and even runs (although not very fast) on occasion and he does not have the side effects of steroids and NSAIDs to contend with (and neither do I).

I first ordered these after our y 110 lb lab/golden retriever mix was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma March 2018. We were told he had roughly 2 months with no treatment, 4-6 months with treatment, 6-12 with removal of his leg I and treatment. We chose not to subject him to leg removal and make his last weeks comfortable. I read Turmeric could (not scientificly proven) slow growth. He gets 3 a day as well as pain meds. He is still with us 5 months later, still jumping in the lake and taking small walks. Worth the investment to us, we are happy for every extra day.

Movement!

My old girl is 17 now, and she don't move like she use to. I bought these and she is moven so much better. She isn't running but she is moving alot better and doesn't seem to be in so much discomfort!

Amazing product! We have two German Shepreds

Amazing product! We have two German Shepreds. One was always suffered with joint inflammation and always was limping, can't enjoyed playing or running. She constantly was in pain. We tried so many different products and none was helping her. When I tried Turmeric Curcumin Bites, her life completely changed. She started to be playful, she was running all day long without any pain or being tired. She has energy all day long which she never experienced that before. My other dog was born small and with very low immune system. This supplement made her immune system get stronger and helped her to absorb nutrients which helped her to gain weight. Also Turmeric is very good for repelling bugs, so they are free from flees, ticks, mosquitoes. I' m happy that I found this product and happy that my dog's now are happy and healthy. very bad arthritis as it is believed he was hit by ...

I have a rescue dog that we adopted as a senior. He has very, very bad arthritis as it is believed he was hit by a car during his life on the streets, and he never received care for the resulting fractures. He was on a therapy plan which included Rimadyl, and some other Rx pain management medication, and the traditional joint supplements. This summer he really started to struggle with his mobility, despite the robust medication and supplementation plan he was on. That is when I decided to try Turmeric. I wanted a supplement that was easy to feed and that wouldn't break the bank. After researching available products and reading reviews, I settled on these Bites. Within a few weeks, I could tell that my dog was feeling better. His mobility improved, and his overall demeanor changed. I could just tell he was more comfortable. He is still receiving his other medication and supplements, as this was an addition to his therapy plan and not a replacement for anything. He has been on this supplement, fed as directed 1x a day for about 6 months now and I am going to keep him on it for the rest of his life. I have recommended it to friends and family, and a few people that I work with in dog rescue that are fostering or adopting senior dogs that have problems with arthritis. Another benefit of this supplement is its anti-cancer properties. My dog is a lab/golden cross, and he has the typical lumps and bumps that the breed gets as they age. Since adding the Turmeric bites to his diet, the lumps have appeared to shrink in size and I haven't noticed any new growths. PS- when I told my vet that I had added this to his care plan, she was very impressed and told me I made a good decision. Attached is a photo of my old man. Adopt- don't shop, and adopt a senior! Soft easy to feed chews my dog actually likes!!!

This supplement is perfect for picky dogs! My dog won't eat hard tablet type supplements and turns his nose up at powders or flakes on his food. This is like a soft treat that I break up into his food and he eats it without missing a beat! What a great, easy way to get Turmeric into his diet! The only negative, it has Palm Oil in it, which I am trying to stay away from because of the complete devastation to wild life from gutting the forrests to harvest these trees. Also this is YELLOW from the Turmeric so don't get it on counter tops or clothes!

I bought this product in hopes to help with my dogs' tumor issues. She has several tumors on her skin. She's already survived two metastatic cancers two years ago It's been a couple of weeks and I've noticed that several of the tumors have gotten smaller. I'm keeping an eye on them daily and will continue for 3 months with this product. She is on other supplements since the initial cancer diagnosis and this is an addition to her regimen. I'm very surprised that my dog will eat this. She doesn't like anything. I'll post an update after the end of the 3 months. Update: I’ve kept her on this daily since day one. No more tumors have popped up. I’m planning on giving her this indefinitely. She’s a senior dog that runs around like a puppy. She’s happy which makes me happy

I am happy so say that Braylee is still with us and ...

My dog Braylee has anal gland carcinoma. She has had surgery and chemo. On her last vet visit, the cancer had spread and she was placed on Hospice. The Vet said she would expect that she wouldn't live to the New Year. I did some research on the benefits of Turmeric Curcumin on those with cancer. I am happy so say that Braylee is still with us and can run and keep up with my other dogs. She still strains to have a BM and takes Miralax, but I am thankful for everyday we have with her. I am hoping that the Turmeric has slowed down the cancer progression. We also give it to our 14 yo lab that has arthritis and she is doing so much better. I highly recommend this product!
