The rotini was FANTASTIC. Follow the directions exactly: 1) Kneed/mix the bag contents gently. 2) Tear at indicated location about half an inch to vent. 3). 60 Seconds in microwave with bag standing up properly (I had to correct the base form after I kneaded it). I let it sit about 60 seconds as I warmed up some refrigerated sauce we had in stock. Combined the two, mixed and added some parmesan. Was delicious and mess free! FYI I do not recommend wearing a white shirt when eating pasta with red sauce.

Really liked it. Cooked it the one minute, then dumped a can of chili over it in a bowl, with diced onions, and shredded cheese. And then nuked the entire mixture another minute and a half to heat the added ingredients. Made a really good meal. Giving boxes of this to two elderly friends who also live alone and don't like to do a lot of complicated cooking anymore. For folks like us, this is a perfect product.

How nice it is having something so quick and easy to prepare. This company also has a pesto sold as a box with I think 6 individual packets ready to serve. I stick the pasta in the microwave and in the one minute it takes to cook, I open the cupboard and grab a creamy pesto packet and a fork. I put that right into the pasta package, stir and eat. I just filled a hunger pang and made no dishes to wash (well there is the fork) in less than 2 minutes. This would be great for a road trip. Most service stations have microwaves; heat your pasta while you fill up! Great meal for much less than you would pay at any fast food joint.

1 minute to pasta...great little afternoon snack or light lunch. Put on some butter or grated cheese or whatever. Cooking using the instructions and the pasta will be al dente...but that's how I like my pasta. Love em.

This is much better than expected . . . both flavor and texture! Followed the directions the first time and decided to try preparing it in the Sistema To Go Bowl with tomato/green chili (Ro*Tel), Parmesan cheese and spices. Added a dollop of Smart Balance and microwave 60 second. Really easy and better flavor. Does well with all my favorites including chicken. Pasta salad: remove pasta from packet to covered, vented microwavable bowl. Heat for 60 seconds (microwaves vary). Add your favorites including sauce and refrigerate in bowl until cold. It refrigerates and reheats for left overs, too. For best results do not over/under cook . . . check microwave settings! Easy to store dispenser box with good 'shelf life.' The packet says two servings and that is applicable for me . . . with sauce plus, this is one large serving! Medical diagnoses mean microwave cooking for me . . . I'm 72 and live alone (add two cats). I much prefer the term independent to my son's usage of stubborn. My two grandchildren seem to enjoy weekend sleepovers. The girl child (10) prefers rice but the boy child (8) always asks for pasta with Parmesan cheese and butter. As the 'pro,' he gave both the Gemelli and Penna Five Stars and I agree!

I love this pasta. Okay, I'm not a pasta expert, but this "Barilla Fully Cooked Ready Pasta" worked for me. It shortens meal preparation a bit and that's what I'm looking for. I tried the penne and have made so far pasta with meat sauce, shrimp scampi, and a cold vegetable pasta salad. I just cook the pasta in the microwave and thus do away with boiling water to cook the pasta and the dirty dishes involved.

I love these products sooooooo much....!! I like to make large batches of home-made sauce and freeze them into small single meal portions. It's always been a pain to cook pasta just to serve with that sauce. Now with these ready to eat pastas it is just so simple. I have always wished for someone to come up with this solution. Thank you Barilla......Perfect

I love Ready Pasta. I always have a few of these in my desk drawer at work. I’m trying to go out to eat less, and they’re nice to have on hand for the days when I didn't bring a lunch. I mostly use them to make mac and cheese, but I’ve made other quick dishes too. It’s not going to be the same as if you mixed a full pasta dish from scratch, but I think they’re good. They have the same flavor and texture as regular pasta to me, and they’re convenient to make on a quick break.

These pasta packs are SO convenient for a quick meal. Add some EVOO and cut up fresh tomatoes and basil and yum!

I love having a dish of pasta ready in under two minutes. If you're microwave is 1000 watts are under, add another 10 seconds to the cook time. Great product.
