Great quality for the money!

This is a great product for the money spent. Everything is really nice feeling, it seems really high quality. I'm not the biggest fan of plastic pourers, but for the price I don't want to nitpick too much. The only other thing that might want to be included in the kit is a mixing glass that fits the smaller shaker. A standard pint glass fits with larger one, but I didn't have a glass that fit the small one. Other than that, super awesome. Feels like what I used when I was a bartender at a restaurant, and now I have tools I'm comfortable using at home!

It looks great! Simple yet elegant!

I bought this cocktail shaker for the bar cart that I put together for my husband and so far he loves this set. It’s great looking and exactly what he needed! He hasn’t had any issues with any of the items in the set. The bar cart isn’t that big so the fact that all of the items can be easily stored in the shaker is awesome because it saves on space.

It’s the best

I recently began to make cocktails and am a beginner. This set is the best in value I have been using it for a month and it works great and I have started to make more difficult cocktails.

Excellent beginning bar set

This is an excellent beginner home bar set. It contains everything needed for the home bar at a low price. Note that the double jigger provided is 3/4 oz. and 1 1/4 oz. rather than the more standard 3/4 oz. and 1 1/2 oz. But the more serious home bartender will probably want to purchase a measured shot glass anyway. A measured shot glass is marked off in both ounces and milliliters and is indispensable for precise measuring (unless you are experienced enough that you do not need to measure drink ingredients). The serious home bartender might also prefer to purchase better pour spouts than the plastic ones that come in this set. Other than those minor issues, the set is great. The Boston-style mixing and shaker tins seal perfectly allowing vigorous over-the-shoulder shaking without any leakage whatsoever. The stirring spoon and the strainer are pretty much the standard mixing implements found in any bar set. I am not sure what the two stainless steel shot glasses are for though. Anyone setting up a home bar probably already has one or more glass shot glasses and will probably never make any use of the stainless steel ones in this set.

This set is a wonderful, affordable cocktail kit.

For those who haven't used this type (two halves) of shaker before you may be more familiar with a three part shaker (base, cap, lid). That was certainly my experience. However, after having used this shaker now several times I'm convinced it is superior to the three-part design. The seal between the two halves is excellent; you can shake like a madman without fear of leaking. And because both halves are big enough to easily grip with your hand it is much easier to separate them. Not that they won't still fight you a bit but it's much easier to pull the two apart than it can be to pry off the cap of a three-part set. The strainer is essential and fits quite well. The rest of the parts... well, they're okay. The jigger is fine. You may or may not find a use for the "shot glasses". The pouring spouts seemed unnecessary to me but perhaps if you're having a big party you'll find them useful. The only thing on my wish-list would be a little rack to organize the shaker, spoon, strainer, and possibly the jigger. As it is, they're a bunch of separate parts which can't easily be organized. This is a nit pick though. I am very pleased with this set.

I like the set

I like the set. However I was disappointed. My set was open and only two of the pour spouts were in my set. Decided to keep it because its a gift for my boyfriend for his birthday. He was been wanting a set and I read good reviews on this set. I don't have enough time to return and get another set. Finedine send a brand new replacement. Very happy about it.

Nice addition to bar

This set is such a nice quality. There are so many pieces for the price. A nice addition to our bar. Arrived on time and in good condition. Others have noted damage. I do not understand how as the box was filled with puffers.

Has everything you need except a muddler.

I love it, its got everything you need to start mixing drinks at home except for a muddler. The pour spouts are a little low quality but this is a cheap price so what do you expect? It comes with a lot of stuff. I would recommend, though that you use a pint glass if you plan on making more than one drink at a time. I got my fancy pint glass right next to my shaker on the bar. You're gonna slowly turn into an alcoholic.

Perfect set for a newbie like me

I drunkenly ordered this set after spending a night measuring cocktails with a pyrex measuring cup and random shot glasses. I figured if I wanted to be a "mixologist" I should at least have the proper tools. I've used this several times at various get togethers and it has worked great! Now my drinks actually taste good, which is a plus!

Nice set

All the items that come in this bar set are good quality. I liked that there was two shaker cups- a large and a small. The jigger is very nice for mixing drinks and they give you plenty of shot glasses. I wish this set came with a muddler, but had to buy that separate.
