Fits perfectly for my Lodge 10.25" slope-sided pan. The lid is domed so you can use it with tall items in your fry pan.

Excellent quality cover. Fits my 14" tramontina frying pan perfectly ! Cool to the touch handle. Perfect !

I should have known that I'd find this 15-inch glass lid on Amazon, when I couldn't find one anywhere else. This is a perfect fit for Lodge, and other brands, too. Because the inside rim is slightly smaller than the outside, this lid fit my 13-and-14-inch pans perfectly. I love glass lids because you can see your food cooking without lifting the lid and allowing steam to escape. I had no problem with the knob getting hot, but, I would still use a pot holder as a safety precaution.

I purchased this for use with a carbon wok: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TKPL8JI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1#customerReviews It's a great fit and perfect for steaming veggies and simmering. (see pic of Red Curry Coconut Chicken). I've used it when making soups in the wok. (why waste all that flavor?) No, I haven't used either it or the wok in the oven, but I have other cooking vessels (Lodge Dutch ovens) for that purpose. Cleaning? That's what clean, used toothbrushes are for. A spritz of detergent, a touch of elbow grease and it's all good. Others who fry or cook greasy food may have different mileage.

I have a iron lid for my Lodge pan but it's nice to be able to see how your meal is doing without taking the lid off all the time.

Excellent design as one has come to expect from Lodge. The rim slopes a bit inwards which helps capture moisture as one is lifting the lid preventing it from dripping back into the food, unless one wants it to. Well balanced, solid construction. When placed on its side upside down on the counter, it automatically corrects to rest on the rubber handle thereby preventing the hot rim from potentially scarring any heat sensitive countertop surface.

Works just fine so far; fit my 12-inch frying pan as well as I could hope and the handle is exactly what I wanted. It doesn't have a little hole in the glass to let steam out, so it will retain pretty much every last drop of moisture, and leave it all condensed on the underside of the lid. But that's fine for my purposes!

I've been using Lodge cast iron pans for years, and I always just stuck lids that didn't really fit (belonged to other pots) on top of the pan when I needed it covered. When I left home I didn't have an assortment of pan lids/tops, and my wife asked if we could find one for the cast iron. It fits great, and the silicon knob is a nice touch. My only complaint is that the knob seems to loosen itself quite often.

I have several Lodge Cast Iron pans in different sizes, and for each one I have a Lodge glass lid. There are times when one just needs a lid, like when braising a roast, or making an omelet, when it is important to have overall heating take place. Using a lid keeps the heat in and lets the pan do a better job of cooking. Also, the fact that it is made of glass lets one see what is going on in the pan without having to lift the lid. Just a worthwhile sidekick for any Lodge Cast Iron pan or Dutch oven. You've already spent money to buy the best pan, spend a little more and enhance it with a great lid.

For years I have used a piece of foil for a lid on all my pans and lose heat each time I checked what I couldn't see. This glass lid has made my life easier. I can watch the fried egg white set and pull it out before the yolk cooks. I can see the action cooking Mexican rice or fideo and know when it is still moist on top but crisp on the bottom. And grilled cheese is perfect because the cheese can actually melt under a lid. Fits well, I can watch the action, and the cool handle is comfortable. I might buy the iron lid for making chili.
