Worked great for the intended use
Worked great for the intended use, I used it to service my cars AC system, the pump and all the accessories needed to service the car was 1/2 the cost of having someone do it for me.

Great for pulling vacuum on car a/c
This pump pulled a vacuum on a car a/c system very fast, matter of minutes with both high and low side lines open. Did not try to pull down to 30 or hold a vacuum for extended period of time. Also comes with oil for the pump so it is ready to use out of the box. Down side: exhaust port is pointing up into the air, if you draw oil into the pump from an a/c system, the oil will spray up into the air and then land on everything around the pump.

Good Vacuum Pump
Used this pump to pull vacuum on the line set of a mini split HVAC system I was installing. I was able to pull a -25 Hg on the lines which exceeded the the hvac manufacturer recommended level.

WORKS GREAT FOR THE DIY.. SUPER PRICE..
READ THE REVIEWS.. FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS.. A LITTLE MIST WHEN FIRST STARTING TO DRAW THE SYSTEM DOWN IS NORMAL.. AFTER A MINUTE OR TWO IT STOPS.. RAN ONE AND A HALF HOUR DRAW DOWNS ON TWO OF MY OLD CHEVYS AND GAGE READ 28.. MOTOR DID NOT GET EXCESSIVELY HOT AND WAS REALLY QUITE QUIET.. CHANGE THE OIL OFTEN AND REFRAIN FROM EXTENSION CORDS, AND YOUR GOOD TO GO.. KUDOS ON A NICE UNIT!!

Pump works well for DIY AC applications....
I am a regular pay cash for this item type customer. Bought this vacuum pump to pull a vacuum on a Dodge R-12 system that had been retrofitted to R-134a about 14 years ago. Pump arrived on time and in good shape. It is packed in a Styrofoam molded box so it ships very well. Instruction book is good and clear. Added oil to the pump (came with the pump, exact amount needed) and put teflon tape on the connections. Fired the pump up and it immediately pulled a vacuum. My gauges only read accurately down to 30 inches, and this pump pulled slightly below that (30+). Pump is quiet and ran for an hour under load with no issues. I can't speak for longevity of the pump yet, as I have only used it once. However, if you need to pull a vacuum on an ac system or want to do some smaller vacuum molding, then this pump should work well for you.

Good bargain
I went out on a limb and bought this less expensive vacuum pump. I've only used it once but it seemed to work quite well. It pulled vacuum right away and I left it running for close to an hour to pull out as much moisture as I could. It ran flawlessly. It comes with oil - just enough to fill it before your first use. If you're going to charge your system from completely empty you need to pull a vacuum first. Might as well save some money and but this one.

Good pump for a fair price.
So I had to get a vacuum pump that can handle multiple jobs and not have to worry about it being able to handle the work load. So I have read a lot of reviews on this pump and said let’s give it a try, so I did and it worked great for me. Just one big problem with this pump is it just keeps leaking pump oil all over the place and I can’t find where it is coming from. I checked the drain plug and the mounting screws (pump housing to the motor) everything was tight.. so I have looked at the sight glass and had noticed that the level had dropped by about 1oz or so. I am going to send it back only because it just keeps leaking oil. I know that some oil blow by is normal but not after use and cleaning it up and putting on the shelf clean and dry only to pass it by on the shelf and noticed that it was leaking oil all over the place. Maybe the company should concentrate more on quality control and making sure that before the product leaves that everything is good to go and the company’s website is a bust!! No proper links to get help or to be able to get replacement parts it just says return to place of purchase.. Likes. Great pump for the price. It’s quick and easy to use and can draw 30 in of vacuum on my manifold not connected to anything and get around 28-29in of vacuum when connected to the job. Starts quickly and runs pretty quite. The inlets 1/2 in acme and the 1/4 in flare on it make it easy to adapt it to your own needs. Dislikes.. It keeps leaking oil all over the place where it is coming from I cannot see just where it is coming from. All and all the pump is a great pump for the price..

Sucks like no other and for a lot cheaper than other option
Had to evacuate and recharge my ac in my Excursion. This thing worked like a beast and drew a large vacuum in a very short amount of time. Which in itself was impressive as the excursions HVAC system is massive. It was nice and quiet too and didn't disturb my Yoga session in from of my car.

Best pump for the price
Excellent vacuum pump. Its quiet compared to others. It produced about 29-30 inches of vacuum fairly quickly in about 4 or 5 car's AC systems. Also, I saw some complaints about other vacuum pumps blowing out some oil. This one has yet to do so. Ran it for a total of about 3 hours today with zero problems. Very good pump for the price.

Best Ever!
Compact, portable, easy to use. The handle doesn’t get in the way of the valves so that I can easily add hoses or whatever I need. Powerful enough to handle multiple tasks at once. The best thing I like about it is that it smokes less and uses almost no oil compared to all the other vacuum pumps I have used. In the past 6 years, I believe I have tried just about every vacuum pump on the market and they’re all oil eaters. I am talking a quart ever two or three weeks! This machine has been filled twice since I’ve had it. And other vacuum pumps have this steam/smoke that Is really annoying at best and possibly harmful to your lungs at worst. This one I actually have to look to see that it does have something similar but it’s such a little amount to as to be negligible. Its smokes, but it doesnt produce a cloud I can barely see through like the others. Without a doubt this is going to be my vacuum pump of choice from here on out.
