They don't fall off and the case is a marvel.
I was a bit concerned that without the earpieces, the glasses might fall off. They are so light that they don't even start to fall off, even if I shake my head.. The case is a genius piece of equipment that works flawlessly. The glasses are pulled magically inside the case with very little help. Just start the middle a little bit, then pull the slide. Poof. If you go to the website and register them (Don't even have to leave an address or phone number, there is a lifetime warranty. I read some of the reviews that were left with claims that "they fell out and broke". I doubt that they would break if you slammed them against the wall. "They fell out of the case". Just shake my head on this one. "have to hold them in front of my eyes" OK, maybe if a person has a different size nose. The only way I might make them fall off is if I tried really hard to make them fall off intentionally.

Great concept but handle with care!
I love them BUT you need to be EXTREMELY careful because they are very delicate and after getting them and trying them on which I love the fit and feel, first time I've put them back inside, I've already scratched them. Also have a few tries at putting them back in the case because there are two ways, what you think it's simple and natural and what you actually need to figure out. If you just put them back in, they fall out of the case. Button needs to be up like when you push them out and when you push them back in, that little 'button' inside grabs them so this way they don't fall out any longer no matter how much you swing your keychain. Play gently until you figure it out.

Excellent FIND!!!
Perfect! I never have to worry about where my glasses are OR even if I have them with me! First time I used them was out to dinner with family and friends and I took out my keychain, and popped up the glasses and slid them on my nose and everyone went wild and they just had to try them on!! Where did you get these, I love them was the comments I received. I'm so happy I stumbled on these glasses LUCKY FIND!

Totally Worth the Price and Trade-offs because You Always have the Ability to Read!
This is a brilliant design enabling me to have reading glasses on me virtually all the time, with no added bulk to my pockets. I simply added them to a set of house keys I always carry and I'm never without them. They work as advertised and I can read anything clearly. They are molded from a single piece of plastic. I have had these a few months and thought they would break several times but so far have not. They fold in half to go in the key chain holder and when I whip these out everyone asks about them. I did finally scratch one of the lenses today while wiping with a Canon lens cloth but it didn't seem to affect visibility (but I can't think of a safer way to clean glasses and these still got scratched). The trade-offs, which are worth having for the convenience, are (in no particular order): 1. They might not be quite as sharp as lenses made from glass but this has not made them any less effective. Most people probably would not notice. 2. The lenses, as I found out today, scratch very easily. Be careful when wiping them! I pressed a little too firmly for some stubborn smudges but I should have used some cleaning solution instead of a dry cloth (even though it is trusted to clean expensive camera lenses). 3. They are more difficult to clean because of their flexibility. You have to hold the lens you are cleaning whereas with other eye wear I can just hold the frame or other lens. They seem to attract lint but that may also be because they live in my pocket. 4. While clipped on my nose, I must remain nearly expressionless or they will fall off. Any movement of the nose will release them. Your results may vary. 5. Easy to smudge or get fingerprints on because there is no frame to hold. Still worth all FIVE stars! I had tried hinged folding glasses and different ways of having reading glasses on me but I either was annoyed by the bulk or kept forgetting to bring them. These are attached to the house keys I never forget to take so I always have them. I do not even think about them until I need to read something. The price is in line with what you would pay for regular glasses at the drug store, if not just a little more, but all those others are worthless if you don't have them when you need to read! I recommend! I seldom bother to give feedback but felt these deserved a mention!

What a great idea!!
These are so fun! Finally I don't have to pack my regular readers to go shopping or dining. So now my little purse isn't jamb-packed full, and is much lighter. I bought 2 pair - red and purple. Have one in my purse, the other hangs in a handy spot in my vehicle. They pop out and in the holder so quick and easy. And they securely stay put on my nose! Went to a horse fair and used them when browsing booths. They sit comfortably low enough on my nose to read what I need and still easily see faces (and distances) over them. When not needed, they popped back in the case easily and then into my pocket to be handy when needed. Got several compliments on them and much curiosity about them!. Several comments of "I need those!" Like both colors - bright enough to see but not too obtrusive. They won't replace my regular glasses for heavy reading, but are great to carry along and use for light duty. I can even use them with my sunglasses (non-prescription) to check something in bright sunlight. They seem well built, they should hold up very well for a long time. I think they are a great investment.

and they are great! I still look kind of strange
I wear glasses, and my progressive prescription won't be ready for a few weeks. My doctor suggested getting a pair of readers to wear OVER my glasses. I found these, and they are great! I still look kind of strange, but not as bad as it would look if I had to wear a second full sized pair of glasses on my face. LOL!

The keychain is a better option for me being
The keychain is a better option for me being; I can't attach it to my phone, because I have a wireless Mophie case. They both are perfect, but just depends on your preference....the glasses are amazing!! Then a lifetime warranty is awesome....

Ultra Slim Size But Delivers Huge Value
Does my husband love these? He has bought nearly every friend he knows a pair! When an admiring, overzealous friend inadvertently broke my husband's pair putting them back in the case (how??) I had to immediately get online to replace them:) I was thrilled to find they are available from Amazon. The advantage to ThinOptics is not in the way they perform, because after all, glasses meant to enhance your vision. However, the fact that they are so small and portable make them far preferable to regular reading glasses for those who only need glasses to read. The color selection is great if you are looking for a little pizazz. While they are a little more expensive than drugstore "cheaters" the size and ability to attach them to your keychain or purse fob make them an excellent value for people who have a tendency to lose things. These glasses go everywhere my husband goes and have never been lost. The protective case is slim and sturdy allowing them to be easily placed in a pocket without worry of damage if that is how you want to carry them. I thought they would be a little difficult to get used to wearing (no arms) but that has not been an issue. They stay put on his nose and are lightweight. I don't believe they are not meant for all day use but my husband wears them for long lengths of time while looking down at business information or on the computer without a problem.

Best "cheaters" on the market as long as you don't mind a little razzing
After cataract surgery in both eyes my vision went back to 20/20 but for detail work not so much, so I needed to test out some cheaters. My wife had a pair of folding reading glasses she gave me but even folded up the case is too bulky to carry around. Enter ThinOPTICS in the sliding keychain case. As long as they're handled on the outside of the frame, cleaned with a dot of Dawn, rinsed and shaken dry, they stay nice and clean. It's a little tricky getting them back in the case at first but once figured out it's real easy. Just let the mechanism do its job without forcing it. These are remarkably light and stay put even in Texas heat. They're perfect when out and about because attached to your keychain they're always right with you at restaurants and stores where you only need them for temporary use. This is a wonderful product..
