I use this on my Jon boat to keep the trolling motor battery charging while we're out. It's a trickle charge, not a full charging unit, but helps to keep the battery going longer while we're fishing.

Put this in my 1990 Suburban that was not making it from weekend to weekend due to a drain somewhere(most likely Viper alarm system). So far my truck has started strong each time since.

I ordered the Sunway Solar Car Battery Charger to maintain a marine deep cycle battery. I purchased the battery as part of an off-grid solar system. Since I bought the battery before purchasing the Renogy 100 watt Solar Starter kit, I needed a way to keep my battery charged and healthy in the meantime. The Sunway Solar Charger was very simple to use and charges (based on the blinking blue light) even in shady times of day. I'm very pleased and once I order my Renogy system, I'll have a handy solar charger for my boat battery.

I bought this to keep my RV battery charged when we're not using it. When I got it the instructions said not for external use, which wasn't what other reviewers said. One reviewer claims he uses in on his boat and it's outside in all kinds of summer weather 24/7. So I was initially disappointed but decided to seal around the outer edge of the glass screen to prevent any water to enter there. I use a silicone caulk and it has been performing really well since I purchased it a month or so ago. It keeps my 24V deep cell RV battery up to maximum charge without having to use a regulator of any kind. I expect it last quite a while. I question the caution in the instructions for interior use only, but perhaps they are just CYA! I would buy it again.

Decided to try this brand. Made mount for charger to keep generator and winch batteries topped off. Like the flashing LED so you know it's working. Also the long cord is a plus. Reaches everything with room to spare. If it lasts for awhile and does it's job will definitely buy over and over.

I have a horrible problem with car batteries because I don’t drive my car much. I drive every week but only for very short distances. On top of that I travel for work, so my car can sit idle for two or three weeks at a time. Bottom line— even a brand new battery will require a jump start in about six months time. Normal trickle chargers weren’t an option because I don’t have a garage. My BIL wired this solar-charged trickle charger to my battery and ....WAHOO, my problem is solved! I drive an Infiniti G37 and after my last out-of-town work trip (where the car was idle for three weeks) the car started easily. I highly recommend this solar powered trickle charger (and my brother in law 😄)

Excellent charger for a very reasonable price. Went to Florida from Massachusetts for three weeks in February, 2017, and left charger attached to battery terminals on car. Several blizzards later when I returned, the car started like I had never left. I would highly recommend this product. Note though that like in my case, if your "cigarette lighter" port is not activated when the car is off, you will need to attach the cables directly to the battery. This was no problem with my Acura. I simply passed the wires out the driver side window and was able to close the door without hurting them (due to rubber stripping's flexibility). Same thing with the hood. I just threaded them under the top corner of the hood and was able to latch the hood without cable harm. Charger suction cups kept it attached to the inside of the windshield to soak up the sun and trickle charge my battery effectively. A lot cheaper than a service call, and/or new battery.

Don't use my car often and hooked up the Maintainer to a battery that I knew was on it's last legs. Left my car parked at the airport for nine days and it started up with no hesitation. Convenience and Obscure Install Have since bought a new battery, hardwired the Maintainer with a 5amp fuse mounted as close as possible to the battery. Installed a Push On-Off Led switch mounted obscurely on the dash, yet within easy driver's reach and to keep the curious from playing with it. When taking my car to an auto-shop for repairs, I'll disable it at the quick-disconnect. NOTE: 1/2019 * Because the panel works well in low light conditions I no longer put it on my dash, the intense heat started to warp and split the case halves. So, instead I place it on my seat. *For safety, when storing my panel as per picture, I turn the panel away from any light source to totally de-energize the unit. I have on a rare occasion forgotten to turn the unit off before starting my vehicle, it caused no adverse effects on sensitive electronics. Still, its a bad idea to keep it on with vehicle running! I got this to use on my camping trailer. I have two 12 volts batteries. This charger works great. The blue light lets you know it is charging. And it is waterproof. I bolted the charger onto my trailer using the two holes in it from the factory. Then I cut the battery clamps off the end of the cord and installed connections to mount it on the positive and negitive battery post. This way I still have the two prong plug to disconnect it if need. If the blue light does not come on, you have your positive and negative wires connected to the wrong battery post.

So far so bueno. Got this guy to keep the battery on my travel trailer going, it is parked too far from the house to keep it plugged in all the time. It charges when it's overcast which is great. Easy to use, this being my first solar product, the cord was long enough to put the panel inside the trailer, but it is tight so I purchased the extension cord kit. Overall I am happy with its performance thus far.
